ok, so, hello everyone (after like forever), i am alive just in case anyone was wondering

BUT despite my occasional promises to start using this blog again (at the time i made them i really did mean to follow through on them, i haven’t done, i’m sorry) this blog will now be inactive, probably forever, but i will keep it here just in case one day i really do want to come back to it

i’m pretty sure everyone has noticed that i haven’t used this blog a whole lot in the last year or so so i’ll briefly clear the reasons for that up: something pretty awful went on in my family last year (not to worry, its been resolved now), which made me kind of shrink back into myself and away from sites like tumblr etc, and as well as that my interests have shifted (not to say that i don’t still love the things displayed on this blog, just that they’re no longer at the forefront of my min, i guess)

i am doing very well now though, even though i no longer wish to continue using this blog, so don’t worry kids

anyone still following me can feel absolutely free to unfollow, but i’m not disappearing, if any of my mutuals have any remaining interest in me, or if nay of my followers have any interest in kpop (don’t judge me okay i didn’t choose the kpop life it chose me) you can follow me over at jojonghwans.tumblr.com - i do use this one regularly! [Re]Introducing the Elven Queen, Elithien! Just a bunch of doodles of new designs and variations of dresses, crowns and hairstyles for the queen. I also tweaked her hair colour to be slightly more platinum and silvery. Also AT LAST I have finally given her a name. I’ve spent ages and ages on it, searching far and wide for all sorts of Sindarin names and coming up with my own. Elithien comes from the derivative of ‘Elia’ - meaning to bless and ‘calithil’ - meaning moonlight. It was originally Elithileth but it didn’t roll on the tongue nicely so feminineelf helped me rename it to Elithien to smoothen it out. Personally I love the name (because I worked so damn hard on it gdi) but I understand if it’s not your cup of tea. I just felt I should give my own Queen a name. Also thanks to everyone who suggested me names for her! I really appreciate the effort <333 Although you can always let me know about your opinion on the name I gave her?

This whole “trust Tumblr blindly” thing is eventually going to kill someone, as I became pointedly aware of on one occasion I was making fun of how poorly a particular bleach-based drain declogger was working on my sink and got a chorus of really dangerously misinformed people telling me to pour vinegar in after it because all cute little cool kid diy home care blogs they’re following talk about vinegar like it it’s the big secret the cleaning companies don’t want you to know.

And I cringed knowing that someday, some Well Actually expert who read a blog article once is going to give that advice to someone who unfortunately didn’t take high school chemistry and isn’t aware that MIXING VINEGAR AND BLEACH MAKES CHLORINE GAS.
