Collecting

I've amassed something like 12 rolls of exposed film that I refuse to get developed. Moving down here to Ocala has found me about an hour away from the nearest professional photo store (I'm probably wrong) to get them developed and printed as opposed to five minutes down the road like back home. Now I'm not too picky. I have always and will gladly bring my film to say Walgreen's or CVS or the like. But it seems that they've all decided to get rid of in store printing completely. At least where I'm located. And since they're all color photos I can't print them myself.  

I probably carry my Fujica with my more often than my Nikon so most of my moments captured are trapped inside their canisters waiting for me to stop being lazy and at least develop one a month or something.

It would be worth the trip just to get out of the house I'm sure.

October of last year I was graced with the opportunity to photograph these beautiful children. They were exciting, though it was quite an effort to get them to open up in my presence as they clung to their mother almost the whole time. She stuck them in the swing until they were quite content. Oh boy, once we let them out they took off.

Stay Tuned

The hiatus is up. A new batch if photos is coming later tonight. I’ve equipped myself with a nice studio setup, met some fresh faces, and working out some ideas in the form of self portraits.

Starting anew in Florida has provided me with a different perspective one here I want to take my photography. My work flow has switched from the fast paced lifestyle portraits of friends during my adventures in New York to the more methodical nature of studio portraits and demands of my clientele.

I promise I’ll be more prompt with news and photos of my progress. So please enjoy. Comments, requests, ideas and critiques are more than welcome of course. Don’t be a stranger.
