Love that all the other cats have names but Cat is just Cat. Like in the books it’s explained as cats being really self centered as a species but in the show and movie that doesn’t work cause the other cats have names. I like to think he just saw the opportunity to fuck with Lister and Rimmer or he’s just so vain that he saw all the other cats leave and was just like: well, those guys are all dead so now I am the Entire Species.

What The Penguins of Madagascar really needs is to get a show in the format of The Office. Going about their spy shit and then giving a glance to the camera. The lemurs would be a group they interact with frequently of course. As KJ is a king he might hire them for missions and then involve himself more than any one wants. Sometimes he just hires them to keep Mort busy for a bit. Maurice might hire them to do actual work behind Kj’s back.

S1 E3 of Red Dwarf Rimmer says he was always a master at hide and seek when he was a kid and now i’m just imagining him hiding from his brothers or his bullies or his dad. Even just him playing hide and seek and hiding so well that people just forget about him. I like to imagine he brings a book with him because he is so good at hiding people don’t find him and he just sits in a wardrobe somewhere reading Napoleon’s war diaries.

I really love thinking about the cats society because imagine the cats exploring the ship and just finding parts of some old civilization. All the people who used to live on the ship and the evidence of their lives. Imagine them finding the picture of Lister and Frankenstein that he sent to the ships lab and piecing together their religion and views of the world from these scraps of ancient life.

I kind of think that Rimmer is unaware of his self loathing because he hates himself. Like if he knew that he was unhappy with how he acts or looks he might try and fix it and then other people would like him more. So he is willfully unaware because he hates himself and wants to suffer more.

I NEED to know more about the Cat’s childhood. Like he was basically alone in the ship? The entire place to himself? And all of his values are different from the religious cats so like where did he get them? Someone create something with Cat as a child in Red Dwarf growing up. I want to see him experimenting with his outfits in the early stages. Learning to sew. Exploring as a little cat. Pleeeease god create more Cat Red Dwarf content for me.

The amount of times Rimmer has thought it would be a good idea to have another him and then immediately started hating the other him or having something bad happen with it is actually insane. Will he never learn? Will he never acknowledge his own self hatred?

Rimmer with the upgraded light bee from promised land should show up in the next super hero movie. In fact have him do a cameo in every single super hero show and movie that has ever been made or will be made.
