The Penumbral nightmare, or previously known as the Grinning spectre. A fierce beast that lurks amongst the darkness like a phantom and preys on those who fall for its striking, light blue and teal patterns. It hosts bioluminescent bacteria on special patches of its skin, teeth, and even bones. This monstrous creature can pop its jaw open for intimidation displays, and its lack of firepower is made up for the use of a very corrosive, foul smelling gel that is ejected from its throat. This dragon hunts small cetaceans, large fish and Hunterfolk. Smaller dragons too will succumb to its jaws. timelapse

Spider Hag

The spider hag hides its body away in layers of cloth and fake heads to distract prey. Every time the hag molts, the fake heads and the body become one. Ancient spider haha have been known to have hundreds of heads and thousands of eyes. They plague the land consuming all to rear their ravenous brood.

A sprit caught between realms tethered to the earth by the roots of the great tree. Slowly they wither and fade away as they are swallowed by the earth.

The Bannerthane spits flaming, boiling acid at dragonhide to break through the iron scales and access the meat within. Imagine what it can do to the poor, traveling merchant! This species inhabits open country, striding on long limbs. It is stiff both in body and attitude, as the Bannerthane believes that everything belongs to it: be it Wingrunner settlement, dragon lair, or a particular basking rock, all roads lead to the loud, gaudy Bannerthane, who wears its heraldry on its skin.
