I agree! So much so, it was one of my drabble week fics.

Wille watches Simon go, a ridiculous smile on his face, hands clasped to try to contain his joy. It isn’t working.

Suddenly, Simon is running back along the corridor and throwing himself into Wille’s arms.

Wille catches him, he’ll always catch him.

When Simon leans back and plants a wet kiss on his lips, Wille laughs. “I thought you had to catch the bus. Your mamma will be annoyed.”

“I just wanted one more,” Simon whispers, nuzzling Wille’s cheek.

“You’re ridiculous,” Wille laughs.

“I love you,” is all the response he gets. And well, there’s that.

“I love you too.”
