"I don’t like to lose."

Taken aback by the ferocity burning in this person’s eyes, Hiyori took a tentative step back, blatantly overcome with fear at what just ensued between them. She hadn’t expected for the girl to get so emerged into the meaningless game arranged by their teacher, but this girl really passionate about treasure hunting.

Unsure of how to answer, Hiyori knew Ricchan would be disappointed if she backed off like a coward. She was supposed to have grown out of her shy phase back in high school, and she didn’t want to relapse into a recluse again.

Taking a deep breath, she retracted her steps so she was closer to her again, her cheeks burning and heart pounding.

"I-I don’t like to lose, either!" she exclaimed loudly, snatching the attention of their classmates around them, startled by the miniature girl using such a loud, authoritative voice. "B-but nonetheless, I wish you good luck!"

♡Asahi took a step back, somewhat shocked at the girl's response. She did try to sound somewhat intimidating, but she didn't expect such a reply, or its volume for that matter. Kayak told her that she should be much more enthusiastic at school, and that was the only way she could think of. To sound interested in a lame treasure hunt. However, her competitive side got to her as soon as the list was given, and she decided maybe just a quick "warning" to her opponent would make her sound like she was into the game.

Maybe she sounded too serious and too into the game.

"Hey there!" She chuckled as she tried to get the other to reduce her volume. It honestly amused the red-haired girl quite a bit. Never would Asahi expect such a commanding tone from someone like the other. Then again, she knew what it was to not expect anything from others before you got to know them properly.

"Then, I wish you the best of luck too." The tall girl flashed a smile to the other. Maybe actually bothering about frivolous things like these were of use, if she got to see that rather unique side of her classmate.♡

Kisumi could not possibly be any more delighted at how the girl had so easily given the pack of gummies up. Of course she would. If she had insisted to keep the sweets to herself in spite of how he had mentioned his little brother, she will forever be deemed as that one person who stole candy from a little boy. Eagerly, the pink-haired male dropped the pack into the basket before gazing back over to the girl in pursuit of thanking her.

But before he could begin, however, she had beaten him to it by questioning his identity as a student. Hm? Do I know her? Or perhaps she had already seen him a couple of times around the campus. Not that he liked bragging but he was aware that his bubblegum pink hair stood him out from a crowd most of the time.

"Ah yes, I am." He answered with a nod and his trademark friendly smile. Despite the calmly jubilant demeanor he was presenting to the young girl, his mind was frantically searching for memories as to where he had seen her. It would most definitely be rude to not recognize her when she had recognized him even if the recognition was by mere appearance.

"Oh!" He snapped his fingers in victorious realization. "I think I borrowed a pen from you at the hallway when I was rushing to my first class! I still have the pen actually and it was really nice of you to lend it to me. What are you doing strolling around here on Christmas?"

♡So he was from Sunset. Asahi can't help but smile when she realised that she was right. If she wasn't, things would have gotten awkward quick. Now the other thing she had to recall is where on earth did she see him before. From what she could recall, he wasn't in any of her classes. If he was, she would probably remember

Listening to what he said, she grinned. "You did. And its no problem! Just return the pen whenever you want." Asahi can't help but chuckle, remembering how it was pink with cute little markings. Anyway, she had a lot more of those kind of pens back in her dorm, so she didn't really need that one.

Christmas? "I was bored. What do you mean by Christmas?" She asked, chuckling as she took a small bag of chocolates off the shelf. At least chocolate was one of her favourite snacks, so even if she couldn't get those gummies, at least she had other alternatives. And why would anyone even think its Christmas? Then again, its been weeks since Asahi looked at the calendar.

"You must be mistaken. Last I checked, it was the end of November." At least that was the last time the red-haired girl looked at a calendar.♡

Mei looks over the clubs available at Sunset and sighs. “I wonder if I should join one. It’d give me something to do during free time.” She said looking at them all a bit confused on which to try.

♡Asahi stared at the available clubs, before grinning to the other. "Planning to join one?" She chuckled as she took another glance at the list. She was determined not to be as antisocial as before, and decided that maybe joining a club would help her with that. Also to cure her boredom. "I'm Asahi."♡

Suzuya felt happy someone accepted his little present eve if it was just a small thing, usually for Christmas people were buying expensive presents for people, okay usually those are for more closer persons not strangers but maybe and a little candy can bright someone’s mood. He stared at the girl and once hearing the question he tilt his head a bit in confusions? She didn’t know what time is it? He decided to help her out of this.

”Of course is Christmas, look around!” He said smiling, around were full of Christmas decorations even could be heard carols. The girl must be really tired or something for not realizing they were in the middle of such a big holiday. The white haired let the candies on the girls hand gently and stayed in front of her, it was okay after all Suzuya was forgetting things so easy as well. ”Did you forget? You can’t forget Christmas, there are a lot of sweets you can eat, this is very important you know!”

♡Asahi could feel her jaw drop in pure shock when she finally glanced around her. "How could I forget about Christmas...?" She grumbled silently as she took note of the decorations, and the rather festive mood, realising that the other wasn't joking at all. Realisation struck her on why Koyuki was so upset when she texted the red-haired girl. Usually, Asahi would be wide awake at midnight, calling her friends and screaming "Merry Christmas!!~", before going to bed. No wonder Koyuki thought that Asahi didn't like her anymore.

Panic slowly sank into her, prompting her to immediately prop a candy into her mouth. Its sweet taste was enough to calm her down for the moment, causing her to smile as she continued sucking on the candy. "Ah, Looks like i did forget... This tastes amazing! Thanks!" She chuckled, before the image of her friend popped up again. Koyuki has a habit on getting too emotional, and if she doesn't get a present to her by tomorrow, the blond is probably going to cry. "You got to help me choose a gift for someone! The toy store is still open and I need to get something, fast!" She gripped the other's shoulders and almost screamed at him.♡

If there was one thing Kisumi had been earnestly waiting for all year, it would be Christmas and absolutely nothing else. Of course, scheduled blind dates and classes where he gets to see the professor he’s been having infatuation over are part of the list too but they were barely as significant as Christmas. Back in Japan, most people would celebrate it with their partners which could be the possible explanation for the pink-haired male’s excitement but of course, such was not the case. He had already broken up with his girlfriend a year ago.

What he had been anticipating for was Hayato coming over to celebrate the holiday with him. Perhaps it wouldn’t be as meaningful without their mothers with them but he knew better than to be indignant about it. Work is work after all.

Kisumi slid his gaze down on his watch. Four more hours before Hayato’s arrival. He really needed to pick up his pace if he wanted his little brother to arrive at his dorm and be welcomed by his favorite snacks and his big brother’s ridiculous hugs and kisses. Kisumi nodded in determination at the thought before walking over to the next aisle, a plastic grocery basket dangling over his arm.

Ah, gummy bears! Eyes widening with enthusiasm at the sight of the remaining pack of gummy bears on the shelf, Kisumi immediately reached for it. However, he found unfamiliar fingers reaching out for it too and before he knew it, he ended up in what could be considered a tug of war for the candy. "Oh… Um… this is awkward." He chuckled lightly, hoping he could charm his way through like he usually managed to do. "I’m so sorry but is it okay if I could have this? It will make my little brother really happy."

♡She was honestly just trying to find a way to kill time, and going to the store seemed like a good idea. She just wanted to grab some snacks, then return to her dorm to do her daily routine. Eat, call Koyuki to chat, complain about everything, study a bit, then sleep. Except, she didn't have any food that she liked in the cabinet, and since Koyuki was busy, she can't call the girl either. Sighing a little in boredom, she saw how the store was open, and decided to maybe get some stuff.

Now, she was walking around aimlessly, her wallet in hand, as she tried to find something that she liked. As soon as she entered the aisle full of candy, that was when her sense of boredom disappeared. Glancing around excitedly, she tried to limit herself to just get one sweet, since her friends were already nagging at her for eating too much. Finally deciding on the bag of gummies, she didn't think that someone else would also try to take it.

She was about to say something about how she "saw the sweets first", but after listening to the other, sighed and released the bag, letting the other take it. "Fine." She grumbled as she shoved her hands in her pocket, before taking another glance at the other, feeling as though she has seen the other before. "Are you by any chance from Sunset?"♡

The haunted house she’d stumbled across seemed like the perfect way to test her courage, make sure it was still as sharp as it was meant to be. Her decision to go in was pretty much impulsive and absolute- inviting someone barely crossed her mind. Besides, she hadn’t grown close enough to anyone from this strange country yet, and she doubted the few acquaintances she had could handle a haunted house.

Everything seemed to be of standard fare so far, and she found herself taking it all pretty well. The girl in front of her, however, was a whole different story. Laura had been in the middle of musing about inferior haunted houses when she felt a pair of arms surround her form and she let out the most undignified squeak.

"Wh-what do you think you are doing?!"

It was the girl. The zombie terrorizing her would not let up, so Laura let her instincts take over. She growled before promptly punching his lights out.

♡Asahi would have probably fainted from the lack of oxygen, due to her screaming non-stop, when she heard something like a loud "smack", followed by something that resembled a muffled "Ow! F@ck!" The swear was the one which prompted her eyes, and she finally took in a breath when she didn't see the "zombie" at her eye level.

"Thank you!" She cried for joy and hugged the girl a little tighter, only to pull away when it finally dawned to her that she was hugging a complete stranger. She took a step back, doing her best to give a sheepish grin to the other, but she felt that it was somewhat difficult to do so when there was still the creepy music playing in the background. "H-hey, sorry about that." She did something that sounded like a chuckle as she took another step away. Feeling her legs hitting something, she looked down to see the same guy, prompting her to almost scream. At least she managed to cover her mouth in time.

Staring at the other, than back at the "monster", she took in a breath and tried to stabilise her breathing. "So... what do we do with... h-him?" She mumbled, still somewhat freaked out from the zombie's make-up, but she thought that if the poor guy stayed there for long enough, he would actually morph into a zombie, and Asahi was not willing to risk that.♡

♡Asahi has no idea why on earth she went into a haunted house alone. Maybe it was because her friends had done it and she wanted to try it too, or maybe she wanted to prove to herself that she was not as much of a scary cat as she thought she was. Regardless, she wanted to cuss at herself for ever doing such a stupid thing.

"None of these are real... none of these are r-real..." She mumbled under her breath as she tried to find her way out. When she finally realised that it would be useless to just keep her eyes to the floor as she walked, she groaned and looked up, face to face with a "zombie", prompting her to scream and hug the nearest person next to her.♡

      Suzuya couldn’t help but feel excited about the beautiful holiday that just arrived, people were getting so kind so he got a lot of sweets more from his room mate so he ended having a bag full of them and thinking of it he couldn’t eat them all so he decided he could share with other people he may meet even if they were strangers. Sharing and making  a person smile was sure the spirit of Christmas. 

      So there he was, walking on the street holding the bag on his back like would Santa do with his sack of toys for kids. He randomly pick a person walking around and smiled, time to share happiness. The white haired fast ran towards the person in front and said suddenly.

      ”Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas! Mind a little present?” He moved his hand inside the bag and took out a few candies and moved them to the person.

♡Asahi was just walking around, minding her own business as usual. She honestly didn't understand why was everything so odd that day. The girl was rather anti-social, and doesn't really bother interacting with others unless she absolutely has to. And maybe this will be one of the times she absolutely has to respond.

She wanted to just mumbled a "No thanks" and walk away, but when she saw the sweets, it was as if all the urges to be alone just disappeared into thin air.

"May I? Thank you." She smiled eagerly as she reached for the sweets, only stopping when she realised what he said. "Its... Christmas?" The girl halted her actions immediately as she stared at the other in pure shock. Of all the festive occasions she had to forget about, it had to be her favourite holiday. "You're not joking, right?"♡
