Headcanon: Hogwarts Houses, Blood Status and Wands
Although I’m sure this has been done before, this is just my rendition of the MysMes characters in the world of Harry Potter. I put a LOT of reasearch into this, therefore will explain why each headcanon fits each character.
Jumin:
Slytherin because though Jumin may seem like a typical Ravenclaw. Slytherin are known leaders, and can be cunning. As we’ve seen, Jumin is a clever man, as he uses his looks and charms to get women and men alike (but mostly women) to sign his contracts. Not only that, but Jumin is also in conflict with his inner self, but has a calm demeanor on the outside, which is another reason he qualifies for Slytherin, whereas Ravenclaws are more known for their clearheadedness. Jumin also has a dendency to be slightly self-centered, which is a common trait among Slytherins. But as all inner conflicting characters, once Jumin has met the right person, his nner turmoil will begin to clear, and he can become a better person, which is true of any Slytherin, so long as they learn to have faith in themselves.
Half-blood because although most Slytherins are obsessed with purity, Jumin is not. He KNOWS he has faults, and though he may seem like he would obsess over pure-blood status, he does not. Jumin just wants to be accepted, despite his inner battle with himself. Many people expect a lot from him, since he is half-blood, yet also a Slytherin, and he lives up to that.
Hawthorn with unicorn hair core. Hawthorn is perfect for Jumin because Jumin can be mysterious, and often is misunderstood, much like hawthorn wood, and both are very complex in character. Unicorn hair because it is consistent, and bonds easily with it’s first user, and since Jumin is a very diligent man, he would need a core he can constantly rely on.
Jaehee:
Gryffindor is Jaehee’s house because although she too seems like a Ravenclaw, she has a strong personality like that of Gryffindors. She is a loyal friend, and can be a bit headstrong. She was brave in confronting Jumin and quitting her assistant job, whereas most people would just deal with it (though she did need a slight push). Jaehee is a very smart woman, but is also not afraid to speak her mind if she does not agree with something, or bend a few rules. She is harworking, and though it’s hard to get through her shell at first, can be very kind and inspiring.
Pure-blood status is for Jaehee becasue she is extremely humble about it. She does not rub in other people’s faces that she is pure-blooded. Actually, if anything she never talks about, because the way she sees it, no one should be ashamed of what their blood type is, whether muggleborn or pureblood, we are all witches and wizards, therefore we should get along. Another reason she would be pure-blood is because though they seem the most pampered, Jaehee was not. She is proof that hard work achieves more than status, and that no matter where you come from, the world can be cruel.
Alder with White River Monster spine. Alder because it is a stubborn wood, but desires a holder who is helpful, yet advanced, which Jaehee is both. White River monster spine is the core becauseit produces the most elegant spells, though it is more powerful than it seems, much like Jaehee herself.
Zen:
Hufflepuff fits Zen more than people would think. He may seem like a Gryffindor, but this boy has more Hufflepuff traits than anything. He may seem a bit arrogant at first, but in reality, Zen is very caring and loyal. His loved ones mean the world to him, and though he may seem adventurous like a Gryffindor, he can be a shy introvert. Besides, he is always honest with the people around him, and is not afraid to help out a friend.
Muggleborn blood fits Zen because he is proud of where he comes from. Though this is seen as more of a pure-blood trait, it is not the case for Zen. He knows he came from humble beginnings, and he’s grateful for the fact he is a wizard. His narcissism can go a bit over board sometimes, but he is proud to call himself a muggleborn, and will challenge anyone who says anything against them.
Spruce with dragon heart string core. Spruce fits Zen, as he is very confident in everything he does, and spruce produces flambouyant charms, and we all know how much of a show off Zen can be. Dragon heart-string core is because it is easier to learn spells with, and I have a feeling Zen would need that extra help, plus he would need a powerful wand to go with his powerful personality.
Yoosung:
Gryffindor suits Yoosung, though he may seem like a typical Hufflepuff. Well he may have Hufflepuff traits, Yoosung is also daring and brave, as we saw with his route, where he helped Seven at Mint Eye. Like Jaehee, Yoosung is a loyal friend, AND s/o, which is a trait found in both Gryffindors AND Hufflepuffs. As we’ve seen though, he can be stubborn, and is hard to sway, but that’s ok!
Pureblood fits Yoosung because like Jaehee, he wouldn’t brag about it. Though Yoosung WAS a bit pampered by his parents, he did learn that hard work goes a long way. Because of this he has learned that status doesn’t mean everything, and he shares the same views as Jaehee on this.
Black walnut and dragon heart-string core. Black Walnut because Yoosung is always honest, and though he is obsessed with games, he is actually smarter and more knowledgable than he seems. Like Zen, the dragon heart-string core helps boost his learning skills, but is also because as he gets better, Yoosung has the potential to be a very powerful wizard. He may just need a little push.
Seven/Luciel/Saeran:
Ravenclaw because even though Seven seems like he belongs in Hufflepuff or even Gryffindor, he has many traits of a Ravenclaw. He is smarter than he often lets on, and is also very imaginative! Though he may not work as hard as most Ravenclaws, he DOES enjoy learning new things, and welcomes new ideas and innovations. But don’t be fooled, this man has tricks up his sleeves, and can be just as cunning as a Slytherin.
Half-blood because Luciel loves technology and magic at the same time. He and his brother have the perfect blend of interests when it comes to muggle terms and technologies, but don’t mind mixing magic in said technologies. He would bring in muggle devices to Hogwarts, and ocassionally get in trouble for using magic outside of school. Oops.
Dogwood with pheonix feather core. Dogwood would work for Seven well because though Seven can be mischevious, he can fight we he absolutely has too, and is actually very smart. The Pheonix feather fits Seven because it can learn any range of spells, which I feel Luciel would love.
Unknown/Saeran:
Hufflepuff because though Saeran can be sadistic and cunning like a Slytherin, he is actually much kinder than he seems to be. Saeran can be extremely loyal, and is always honest, though sometimes you may not want him to be. He is also a hard worker, and smart, which are small Raveclaw traits, but also Hufflepuff traits. Do not be mislead though, if he has to, Saeran WILL send someone to the infirmary, because let us not forget, he IS sadistic, and he is sly. (Also, not related to MysMes, I feel like this goes for Azusa Mukami from Dialovers as well.)
Half-blood because of the same reason as stated in his brother’s.
Blackthorn with veela hair core. Blackthorn because the owners of this wand are warriors, but must go through stuggles, and man, has Unkown been through some shit. Veela hair is suitable for Saeran because it is difficult to master, and because it is tempermental, just like himself.
V:
Ravenclaw because Vis actually a very smart man. He is difficult to place, as he could fit into ANY of the four houses, but I feel Ravenclaw suits him best. He is a hard worker, he is ambitious and never gives up on his goals. Despite the hardships he’s been through, V keeps going, and will help others, even though he may be the one in need. V is also kind, and puts other’s needs before himself, but he can also be very witty and sarcastic when he wants to be.
Muggleborn This fits V well, though I’m not quite sure why. It just seems….RIGHT. I’m sorry for the vague explaination, but it’s all I have for him.
Cedar with unicorn hair core. Cedar wood fits V best because he is clear headed, though he deals with inner conflict, and he is always loyal to his loved ones. Unicorn is the perfect core because V is very persistent, and goes straight for his goals, but also he would be very attatched to his wand.
