Morning settled over the Jujutsu High, first-year students crossed the stone courtyards carrying practice weapons over their shoulders, assistants hurried between buildings with stacks of reports tucked beneath one arm, and somewhere in the distance, the unmistakable crack of splintering wood announced that someone's training had already gotten out of hand.
It should have been an ordinary day. Instead, conversations … more like gossip… refused to die down.
Maki had known about the fake boyfriend scheme since the beginning—she'd been in the room when they'd cooked it up, after all—but even she hadn't been prepared for how it had actually played out.
"So let me get this straight." She rested her chin on her palm, watching Nobara with open fascination. "We all knew it was supposed to be Yuta on paper. A name to get the Zenin off her back. But you're saying he showed up. In person. During the mission."
"We were right there," Nobara confirmed, practically glowing with the privilege of it. "Front row. Megumi almost had an aneurysm."
"I did not."
"You made a noise."
"That was a normal breathing sound."
Panda, seated cross-legged with a rice ball halfway to his mouth, looked between them with the solemn focus of a panda being handed classified intelligence.
"Wait, so the plan actually worked? He came all the way from Africa to save her?"
"That's the thing," Yuji cut in, arms flailing for emphasis. "It wasn't just saving her. Naoya was already there, gloating, basically had her cornered, and Yuta just—showed up. Cut through the curse like it was nothing. And then Naoya tried pulling rank, said she was his fiancée, and Yuta just—"
He paused for dramatic effect.
"—said she was his girlfriend."
"Out loud," Nobara added, savoring it. "To his face. It was so cold, dude. I've never seen Yuta like that. It was like watching a completely different person."
Toge, cross-legged nearby, offered his own contribution with characteristic economy.
"Salmon."
Everyone paused to consider this.
"Dangerous," Yuji said, nodding sagely. "Yeah. Yeah, it makes sense."
"Okay, but here's what I don't get," Maki said, arms crossed. "The plan was just to say his name. Keep him abroad, keep it vague, buy time. Nobody told him to actually fly back and start a fight with Naoya, of all people, over her."
"Gojo went and got him," Megumi said flatly, his voice carrying an edge he didn't examine too closely. "Personally. Teleported there the second Naoya realized the long-distance boyfriend thing was fake and pushed the engagement forward anyway."
"So the girlfriend thing wasn't in the script," Maki said slowly, putting it together.
"No." Something twisted low in his stomach, something he had no intention of naming. "That part..." He paused, looking away, "...he came up with on his own."
Toge's glance found Maki's, and she pressed her lips together, saying nothing. She didn't have to. They'd both noticed.
Nobody was quite unkind enough to voice the other possibility out loud—that maybe it hadn't been improvisation at all, not really. Not judgment, exactly. More a kind of collective, curious hush, the sort reserved for watching a plot twist unfold in real time and not wanting to be the one who ruined it by guessing the ending too soon.
Sunlight had already crept halfway across the infirmary floor by the time you opened your eyes.
For a moment, you simply lay there, blinking at the ceiling, cataloguing the dull ache in your limbs and the too-familiar antiseptic smell that meant Shoko had, once again, kept you alive against considerable odds. The details of how you'd gotten here remained frustratingly out of reach — fragments, mostly, blurred at the edges, refusing to arrange themselves into anything coherent.
Then you turned your head, and everything else stopped mattering.
Yuta was asleep in the chair beside your bed.
Not sprawled, not slumped in exhaustion's usual boneless way — he'd simply given in to it, one arm curled loosely around you, his hand resting near your waist like it had found its place without permission. His face had drifted close, close enough to count the shadows beneath his lashes, close enough to notice the soft, unguarded part of his lips.
For one reckless heartbeat, you wondered what it would be like to close that last inch yourself — to press your mouth to his before he ever woke up to stop you.
He didn't look like the boy who'd left for Africa — he was broader now, jaw firmer, thick where it counted. Your gaze drifted to his hands, gentle despite their strength, and you leaned in without deciding to, cataloguing his lashes, the furrow between his brows, the sinful curve of his mouth, until you were close enough to feel his breath—
Then you caught yourself, jerking back so hard your shoulder hit the headboard.
What are you doing. This was supposed to be a farce — nothing more — and it wasn't supposed to make your pulse stutter over the shape of someone's mouth. It's not real, you told yourself, unconvincing even inside your own head.
Yuta, mercifully, slept on.
You stole one last glance to his lips and then, shoved the thought down almost violently. Heat crawled up your neck before you could stop it, spreading into your cheeks. You pressed your lips into a line and exhaled slowly through your nose, staring at the ceiling instead, because looking at him a second longer felt dangerously close to admitting something you weren't ready to name.
And that was when it all came rushing back.
The curse. The blood loss. Naoya's voice, low and possessive, promising you heaven with nothing more than his thigh and infuriating patience. The white flash of a blade. Yuta, appearing exactly when you'd stopped believing anyone would. The almost-kiss in this very room, breath shared and unclaimed, interrupted by a door sliding open at the worst possible moment. And somewhere in the haze after, his voice, low and certain, promising he wouldn't leave your side.
He hadn't left. Not once. Not the entire night.
This was getting out of hand.
You eased yourself upright with as much stealth as your battered body allowed, wincing at the pull of stitches, and slipped out from under the blanket with the exaggerated care of someone defusing a bomb. Yuta didn't stir. You tiptoed past him, and out into the hallway, easing the door shut behind you with a softness that bordered on reverent.
You made it four steps before you saw him.
Gojo leant against the wall like he'd been waiting there for the express purpose of ambushing you, blindfold pushed up into his hair, grinning like a man who'd just watched his favorite show hit its season finale. He lifted one hand and gave you an enthusiastic thumbs-up.
You looked at him, utterly deadpan.
"That good, huh?" he said, undeterred by your expression in the slightest. "I'm telling you, this went better than I could've possibly scripted it. And I'm very good at scripting things."
"Better than you scripted it," you repeated flatly, "is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence."
"He didn't leave your side all night." Gojo's grin widened, entirely too pleased with himself. "Not once. Shoko had to physically step over him to get to the supply cabinet. Twice."
"I'm aware. I woke up to it."
"And?"
"And nothing." You crossed your arms flustered, ignoring the way your pulse hadn't quite settled since you'd opened your eyes to the sight of Yuta’s sleeping form. "He's committed to the part. That's all that is."
"Mm." Gojo tilted his head, entirely too delighted by wherever his thoughts had wandered. "Very committed. Impressively committed, honestly. I don't think I've ever seen a performance held together this well under this much pressure."
You went quiet.
The word sit there, uncomfortable, refusing to dissolve the way you wanted it to.
"...So he's just playing the part," you said, mostly to yourself, testing how the sentence felt out loud. It didn't feel like anything close to true, and that was somehow worse than if it had.
Gojo's eyebrow arched, something sharpening behind his usual theatrics—like he'd caught the real question hiding underneath the one you'd actually asked, and was deciding whether answering it honestly would be more fun than not.
He opened his mouth.
"Satoru."
Shoko's voice cut in from behind him, brisk and entirely unbothered by whatever conversation she'd just interrupted. "I need you. Now."
Gojo shot you a look that promised this wasn't over, then let himself be steered away by the collar without further protest. You watched them go for exactly as long as it took to remember you had somewhere to be that wasn't standing in a hallway overthinking a sentence, and continued on your way.
-
The staff room smelled like burnt coffee and Nanami's quiet disapproval of it.
He sat with a plate of neatly arranged breakfast in front of him, glasses perched low on his nose, the picture of a man determined to enjoy fifteen uninterrupted minutes of peace before the day inevitably ruined them. Shoko dragged Gojo through the door before that hope had a chance to survive.
"Sit," she said, pointing at the nearest chair like she was disciplining a dog.
"I have things to do—"
"Sit, Satoru."
He sat, mostly because arguing with Shoko had never once ended in his favor.
"You're playing with fire," she said without preamble, arms crossed, already reaching for the pack of cigarettes she wasn't technically supposed to smoke indoors. "And not the fun kind. The kind where someone actually gets burned."
"Everything is under control." Gojo waved a hand, infuriatingly breezy. "I have this handled. Relax."
"You said that before the Zenin situation escalated into an actual engagement." She lit the cigarette anyway, exhaling toward the ceiling like she'd earned it. "A wedding is going to happen."
Gojo blinked at that, head tilting to one side, repeating the words with none of his usual conviction. "A wedding is going to happen... wait... what?!"
Shoko glanced toward Nanami, who was making a valiant, failing effort to enjoy his breakfast in peace. "Told you he didn't know."
"Know what?" Gojo demanded, and Shoko exhaled smoke with a long, heavy sigh.
"The Zenin Clan announced the engagement yesterday. (Y/N) and Naoya. It's official." She paced across the room, cigarette between two fingers, watching the information land on Gojo's face like a stroke. "Turns out your little stunt didn't sit well with him."
"You're telling me that in under eight hours, that Zenin bastard planned an entire wedding?"
"Not just planned." Shoko reached into the folder tucked under her arm and slid a thick, cream-colored envelope across the table toward him, the paper fine enough to catch the light, edged in gold leaf with the Zenin crest embossed dead center. Traditional. Expensive in the specific way that was meant to be noticed. "It arrived sometime last night. Addressed to you, specifically."
Gojo stared at it like it might detonate.
Nanami reached over without asking, plucked it from the table, and slid it open with a single clean motion of his thumb, entirely unbothered by whatever protest Gojo hadn't managed to voice yet. He scanned the elegant calligraphy inside, expression unreadable.
"How thoughtful," he said, deadpan. "You've been invited."
"I don't want to be invited."
"You've also," Nanami continued, turning the card slightly, tapping one line near the bottom with a a single finger, "not been given a plus one." A pause, dry as ash. "Rude."
Gojo made a strangled sound that wasn't quite a laugh.
Nanami put the invitation down and set to cut a precise piece of sausage, he studied it for a moment before setting his chopsticks down entirely, the news apparently having cost him what little appetite he'd started with.
"This is what happens," he said, voice even, a little deflated "when you treat clan politics like a game you can improvise your way through. The Zenin don't mess around. When they move this fast, it's because they've already decided the outcome doesn't require your consent — only your compliance." His gaze flicked up, sharp despite the calm. "You handed Naoya a public humiliation in front of his own clan. A man like that doesn't absorb that quietly. He retaliates. Immediately, and disproportionately, to make sure no one mistakes it for weakness."
"That's what happens when you play with fire, idiot," Shoko added, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"I got Yuta there in time. I neutralized the threat. I—"
"You made it worse," Nanami said flatly. "You didn't defuse anything. You escalated a private manipulation into a public one, and now an entire clan's reputation is tied to seeing this through. This was never going to be solved with a clever line delivered in front of an audience, Gojo. That's theater. Clans don't respond to theater. They respond to leverage, and you just handed him a reason to apply more of it."
Something shifted in Gojo's expression — the easy grin still technically present, but hollowed out, stretched thin over something considerably less playful underneath.
"I didn't ask for a lecture."
"You rarely do," Nanami said. "You ask for consequences instead, and then act surprised when they arrive."
Shoko took a slow drag, watching Gojo carefully now, some of her usual dry humor draining out of her posture. Because whatever had just crossed his face wasn't annoyance. It sat lower than that, darker, coiled tight behind eyes that had gone very still.
"Satoru."
He didn't answer right away. His jaw had tightened, his fingers curling slowly at his sides, cursed energy humming faintly at the edges of the room in a way that made the hair on Shoko's arms rise.
"That wedding," he said quietly, "happens over my dead body."
Neither of them had time to respond.
He was simply gone — no flash of light, no dramatic exit, just the particular displacement of air that meant Gojo Satoru had removed himself from a fifty-mile radius in significantly less time than it took to blink.
Shoko stared at the empty space where he'd been standing, cigarette forgotten between her fingers.
"...Where did he go?"
Nanami picked his chopsticks back up, though he didn't resume eating. He simply stared at his plate, jaw tight, something grim settling behind his usually composed features. The invitation was gone as well.
"Nowhere good."
-
Yuta woke to an empty chair beside an empty bed, and the particular, quiet panic of a man who'd failed at the one thing he'd promised himself he wouldn't. He was already on his feet, already scanning the room for some sign of where you'd gone, when Gojo appeared in the doorway, entirely too relaxed for someone whose pocket burned with an unsolicited wedding invitation.
"She's fine," Gojo announced, before Yuta could ask. "Tiptoed right past me about ten minutes ago. Very sneaky. Not actually sneaky, but she thought she was, and I didn't have the heart to tell her otherwise."
Some of the tension eased from Yuta's shoulders, not all of it. Gojo crossed the room and clapped a hand down on his shoulder.
"Keep an eye on her."
Yuta's gaze drifted toward the door, toward wherever you'd disappeared to, some quiet certainty already settling into his expression.
"I'm keeping both."
Gojo blinked, then laughed—short, genuine, thoroughly pleased with himself in the specific way of a man watching a plan click perfectly into place… or at least, part of the plan.
"Right answer." He squeezed Yuta's shoulder once, satisfaction writen plainly across his face, like he'd just had every last doubt about his own strategy confirmed in four words. "I picked well."
He was gone before Yuta could ask what he meant by that, leaving him alone with the quiet chirp of morning birdsong and the sudden, urgent need to go find you.
-
The sun was high when Yuta found yuo, sitting on a bench near the training grounds, watching your teammates with an expression that hovered somewhere between amusement and exhaustion.
You'd changed into the simple clothes Shoko had left for you — a loose t-shirt and loose pants that felt like a universe away from your usual uniform. Your ribs ached faintly when you shifted, a dull reminder of how close things had come if Yuta — or Naoya, for that matter — hadn't shown up when they did.
"You shouldn't be out here."
You jumped, not having heard him approach. Yuta stood there with two water bottles in one hand and what looked suspiciously like a convenience store onigiri in the other.
"I needed air," you said, which was only partly a lie. Mostly, you'd needed distance from the infirmary bed, and from the memory of how easily you'd considered becoming a thief, his lips the only thing worth stealing.
He sat down, not too close, but close enough that you could feel the warmth radiating from him. He set one of the water bottles and the rice ball beside you.
"You didn't eat this morning."
You blinked. The straightforwardness of it caught you off guard. Yuta had woken up, noticed you were gone, and immediately made sure you were being taken care of.
"Thank you," you said, your voice quieter than intended.
You picked at the plastic wrap on the onigiri, your appetite still a shy, uncertain thing. Yuta didn't press you to eat. He simply sat there, a quiet, solid presence, watching the distant sparring match. He pointed with his chin.
"Yuji's form is still sloppy. He puts too much power into his right hook."
"You can see that from here?" you asked, squinting. To you, it was just a flurry of motion and occasional shouts.
"His elbow drops," Yuta clarified. "Telegraphs the move. Megumi will counter it in… three, two…"
There was a distinct thud and a yelp from Yuji.
You couldn't help the small laugh that escaped. "You're scary good at this."
"It's easier to see when you're not the oone fighting," he said, a faint smile touching his lips. "Different perspective."
His gaze drifted from the training grounds to your face, and for a second, the world narrowed to the space between you. His expression was so open, so raw, it felt like a confession without words — he looked at you like you were the only thing in a five-mile radius that mattered, and heat bloomed in your chest again, unfamiliar and thrilling, nothing to do with the afternoon sun.
Then something shifted. His gaze, warm a moment ago, sharpened — not cold, just focused, heavy in a way that made the fine hairs on your arms rise. It traced your mouth like he was memorizing the shape of it, drifted to the line of your throat, lingered on the rise and fall of your chest beneath the loose fabric of your shirt — not lecherous, worse than that, proprietary, a slow visual claiming that had your breath catching before your mind caught up. You swallowed, and his eyes followed the motion, unhurried, like a man who had all the time in the world to look at you and intended to use every second of it.
Stop reading into it, you told yourself firmly. He was just playing the part — following orders, nothing more. ...Right?
Before the thought could fully convince you, something caught Yuta's eye.
A mark on your hand—dark, unfamiliar, blooming faintly against your skin. His brow furrowed instantly.
"What is that?"
He reached for your palm before you could answer, turning it gently toward the light. You leaned in to look yourself. "It looks like a bruise."
Yuta's eyebrow lifted. "Strange place for one to show up."
You shrugged, unbothered. "It'll heal eventually."
His fingers wrapped carefully around your bruised hand, lingering a beat longer than the moment actually called for. You did your best to seem unaffected — you failed spectacularly, the heat in your cheeks giving you away entirely — and he bit down on a quiet, pleased grin.
"Am I hurting you?"
You shook your head, and something in his expression turned playful.
"Good— cause I need to change your bandages," he explained. That, at least, accounted for why he'd been looking for you in the first place. It probably explained the staring too, you told yourself — he'd just been checking your injuries. That had to be it.
Reaching that conclusion should have brought relief. Instead, something in your chest tightened.
He offered you his hand, and you took it without thinking twice, letting him pull you gently to your feet before falling into step beside him on the walk back to the infirmary. Yuta held the door open, following you inside with a focus that felt both professional and deeply personal.
"Shoko said to change them today," he said, gesturing toward the examination table. "Since she's swamped with... well, everything." He cleared his throat. "I told her I'd handle it. If that's... okay with you."
You nodded, trying to ignore how your pulse quickened at the thought of him undressing you, even clinically. "Okay."
He gestured toward your shirt. "You'll need to take that off. The bandage wraps around your torso."
You reached for the hem of your shirt, hesitating mid-air. That was when realization hit—you hadn't put on a bra after Shoko's examination. Your frame tensed. "Wait. I... I don't have..."
Yuta's cheeks flushed immediately. "Oh. Right. We can ask Shoko—"
"She's busy," you cut in, trying to sound casual and failing miserably. "It's fine. I'll just—" You took a steadying breath, grabbed the hem, and pulled the shirt over your head in one swift motion, immediately crossing your arms over your bare chest.
Yuta's throat went dry. The clinical detachment he'd prepared himself for evaporated instantly. He focused fiercely on the medical tape, anywhere but at you.
"I'll be quick," he managed, his voice strained. He approached, scissors in hand, carefully snipping away the old bandage. Each movement was precise, careful, avoiding any unnecessary contact.
But his brain betrayed him.
He could see it so clearly: the soft, heavy swell of your breasts, trapped and pressed against your forearms. The way the flesh had molded, spilling slightly at the edges of your grip. His mind, a traitor, supplied what he hadn't seen—the way your nipples would tighten and pebble in the cool air of the infirmary if you were to lower your hands.
His thoughts weren't just tumbling into forbidden territory; they were sprinting headlong into it. He imagined stepping closer, his own hands covering yours. He pictured the simple act of gently prying your fingers away, one by one, exposing yourself completely to him. The thought was so potent it made his spent cock twitch against his thigh.
He imagined running the calloused pads of his thumbs over those hardened peaks, watching them pucker even more at his touch. He wanted to hear the sharp inhale, the soft gasp you would make. He wanted to know if you'd arch into his touch or shy away. He craved the feeling of your weight in his palms, the softness giving way to the firm muscle beneath. He wanted to lean down and close his mouth around one, to taste you, to feel your fingers thread through his hair as you held him to you.
Blood rushed south so fast it made him dizzy.
His knuckles brushed against your side accidentally and you flinched slightly, making your arms shift. For a heartbeat, one breast became visible—a perfect, soft curve that made him want to groan aloud.
"Sorry," he choked out, fumbling with the tape.
You noticed his trembling hands. "You okay?"
"Fine," he lied, fingers slick with sweat. Just a few more inches. That was all he had to wrap.
Sweat beaded on Yuta's forehead. He bit his lip so hard he tasted blood, the coppery tang barely registering over the roaring in his ears. He had never wanted to touch someone with this kind of desperate, all-consuming hunger, and the knowledge that he couldn't—shouldn't—made the desire almost painful. The sterile scent of the infirmary did nothing to mask the warmth radiating from your skin, the faint floral scent of your hair.
Just as he felt himself losing the battle with the other head, a violent tremor shook the entire building. The floor lurched violently, medical supplies rattled and crashed from nearby shelves, and without a single conscious thought, Yuta lunged forward to shield you.
His arms wrapped around you, pulling you flush against him in a protective embrace.
And then—
Your bare breasts pressed against his chest, soft and warm through the thin fabric of his shirt. His left arm circled your back, palm flat against your naked skin, fingers instinctively seeking purchase. They brushed against where your bra strap should be—and found nothing but smooth, uninterrupted skin.
The realization hit him like a physical blow. His hand, now possessively splayed across your bare back, was touching skin that had never been meant for him to feel.
As quickly as it had started, the tremor ceased.
Silence descended, broken only by the drip of a fallen IV bag onto the floor and the sound of two hearts beating in a panicked, unsteady rhythm. For Yuta, the world had narrowed to the specific, catastrophic disaster currently unfolding in his arms.
He could feel everything.
The soft weight of your breasts against his sternum, the delicate curve of your spine beneath his sweaty palm, your scent — damn, he could've inhaled it until he was drunk on it. And then, with a jolt of pure horror, he became aware of the third point of contact— The unmistakable, rigid, and utterly shameless length of his own desire, rock-hard and pressing insistently against the soft plane of your stomach. It wasn't just a touch; it was a declaration. A filthy, undeniable announcement of every depraved thought currently wrecking his brain.
A strangled sound escaped him. He recoiled as if electrocuted, stumbling back a full two steps. His hands flew up as if to ward off a ghost, his face a mask of mortification.
"I— I am so sorry." His voice was a choked whisper, cracked with shame.
You stood frozen for a beat, arms crossing quickly over your breast, before scrambling to pull your shirt back on. The rough cotton scraped against your skin, a welcome barrier. Your face felt like it was on fire, a blush so hot you were surprised it didn't dissipate into the cool air of the room.
You looked everywhere but at him. At the floor, at the spilled IV fluids, at the ceiling. Your mind was a blank wall of static, punctuated by the phantom feeling of his body against yours.
"I didn't... I wasn't thinking," he stammered, running a trembling hand through his hair, making it stick up at odd angles. "The earthquake— I just reacted. I shouldn't have—"
He couldn't finish the sentence. He couldn't bring himself to name the transgression, the way he had touched you, the way he had felt you. The way his body had betrayed him so spectacularly.
"It's... it's okay," you managed to say, though the words felt hollow and thin. "You were just trying to help."
Help. The word was a flimsy shield for the storm that had just passed between you.
Yuta just shook his head, looking utterly wrecked. His gaze was fixed on some point on the floor, as if he feared what he might see if he looked at you. "I should go. I'll... I'll get Shoko. She can finish." He backed toward the door, hands held up in surrender. "I am so, so sorry."
He turned and fled, not quite running but moving with a speed that screamed escape.
In his blind haste, he collided with someone just outside the infirmary door. A short woman with dark hair tied back in a severe bun, holding a stack of clean linens. She stumbled back with a small cry, the sheets tumbling to the floor.
"I am so sorry!" Yuta blurted out, not even looking at her face. He dropped to his knees, clumsily gathering the fabric into a pile. He shoved it into her arms. "Sorry. Excuse me."
And then he was gone, disappearing down the hall as if the floor were made of lava.
The woman watched him go, her expression unreadable. She smoothed her uniform, and carried the linens into the infirmary. Her movements were practiced — meant to be invisible. She didn't look at you, but you felt her gaze like a physical touch as she began methodically changing the sheets on the empty bed. Her ears, however, had missed nothing. The collision, Yuta's frantic apologies, his hasty retreat. Her task here was finished. Lord Naoya would be very pleased indeed.
-
The door to his dorm room slammed shut behind him. Yuta leaned against it, chest heaving, as if he'd run a marathon instead of just down a hallway. The image was burned into the back of his eyelids: the plush, almost decadent softness of your breasts flattening against the hard plane of his sternum, a perfect, devastating contrast that made him want to claw his own skin off.
He was losing, drowning in it. He could feel it still, the ghost of you against him, a phantom sensation that was more real than the floor beneath his feet. He slammed a fist against the door, a dull thud that did nothing to silence the roaring in his ears.
"Fuck," he breathed, the word a raw, ragged sound.
He shoved himself off the door and practically tore into the adjoining bathroom, turning the shower knob to its coldest setting. He didn't even wait to undress, just stepped under the icy spray in his uniform, the fabric immediately clinging to him like a second skin. The shock of it was a brutal, temporary reprieve.
But the cold was a lie. It did nothing to extinguish the fire raging in his blood. He closed his eyes, and the image returned, sharper this time. Your gasp as he pulled you close. The feel of you against him.
His hand, almost of its own accord, moved down, sliding beneath the waistband of his soaked pants, wrapping around the heavy, aching heat of his erection. The cold water was immediately forgotten, replaced by the searing friction of his own touch.
A choked gasp escaped him, the sound swallowed by the hiss of the shower. He leaned his forehead against the cool tiles of the wall, his only anchor in the sea of sensation threatening to drown him. His mind was no longer his own; it was a theater, and the only film playing starred you.
He imagine pulling your hands away from your chest, not roughly, but gently, revealing yourself to him completely. He pictured himself lowering his head, his lips closing over one peaked nipple, tongue swirling as you arched against him. The fantasy was so vivid, so potent, that he could almost taste the salt of your skin, hear the soft moan that would surely fall from your lips.
"God," he groaned, the word torn from him. His fist tightened, moving faster, the slick sound of his strokes mingling with the cascading water. "You're so... perfect."
He wasn't just touching himself anymore; he was touching you in his mind. His free hand splayed against the shower wall, imagining it was the soft curve of your hip. He pictured you laid out beneath him, legs wrapped around his waist, pulling him deeper.
"Is this what you want?" he panted, the question meant for the the ghost of you in his mind.
His movements grew erratic, desperate. The cold water did nothing to cool the inferno blazing in his veins; it only served to heighten the sensitivity of every nerve ending. He was chasing a release he knew wouldn't be enough, a temporary fix for a permanent ache.
"Let me hear you," he rasped, his voice hoarse. He imagined your response—a breathy sigh, a whimper of his name. The thought sent a fresh jolt of pleasure straight to his groin, making his hips buck involuntarily, harder, faster.
He pictured rolling you over, your back arching beautifully as he entered you from behind. One hand on your hip, pulling you back to meet each thrust, the other tangled in your hair, tilting your head so he could kiss the sensitive skin of your neck.
"So tight," he bit out, the praise for a fantasy that felt more real than the tile beneath his feet. "Taking me so well."
The coil in his stomach tightened, a familiar pressure building at the base of his spine. He was close. So close. The water washed over him, plastering his dark hair to his forehead, but he barely registered it. His entire world had narrowed to the rhythm of his frantic hand and the images flickering behind his closed eyelids—images of you, flushed and conquered beneath him.
The pleasure built to an almost unbearable crescendo, a white-hot pressure behind his eyes. He could feel it in the trembling of his thighs, the clenching of his jaw. His hips stuttered, fucking into his own fist with a desperate rhythm that matched the frantic beat of his heart.
"Look at me," he commanded, his voice cracking. "Wanna see your face when you come for me."
That was it. The thought of watching you fall apart, of being the one to unravel you, sent him over the edge. With a strangled cry that was half your name, half a raw, wounded sound, he spilled himself, thick ribbons of creamy cum, all over his own hand. The release was violent, shuddering, leaving him breathless and weak-kneed against the shower wall.
"(Y/N)," he gasped, your name a prayer, a curse, a confession all at once. He leaned his forehead against the cool tile, panting, the water washing away the physical evidence of his transgression but doing nothing to cleanse the guilt now warring with the lingering satisfaction.
He stayed there for a long moment, the cold water finally starting to seep into his bones, a stark contrast to the heat that still simmered in his blood.
And that's when he heard it.
A soft click, distinct from the cacophony of the shower. The sound of his door latch, sliding home.
His blood ran cold, the aftermath of pleasure instantly replaced by a jolt of pure, icy adrenaline. He froze, every muscle tensing, water streaming over his suddenly rigid body. He hadn´t been alone. Someone had been in his room.

Summary: You've been dating toph for over a year now and things are great, until you let the L word slip during sex and now shes acting all weird. If that weren't bad enough, she disappears for a week to help aang and sokka, leaving you to wonder what you did wrong.
⋆ৡ ⋆˚࿔ fire lord zuko who stutters mid-sex.
zuko was the fire lord. a man honed to be entrusted with an entire nation. a man who not only had the ability to lead adequately, but also to speak adequately.
it was rare to get the fire lord into a weak, stuttering mess, but you could do it with just a quick, sultry word or a simple clench of your body.
"fuck," zuko cursed, long strands of black hair falling over his face as he hooked your legs over his shoulders.
he was fucking you so thoroughly, so deep, making sure you felt every agonizing inch. he made sure his cock kissed your cervix with every creak of the large bed in the center of his chambers.
"that's it—my sweet wife," he rasped, his face twisted in sheer pleasure. "gonna fill you up real good. fill you up deep with fire lord seed."
your eyes rolled back in pleasure, toes curling over his shoulders. he always had such a way with words.
"god—zuko!"
"yes, that's it," he breathed. "cry for me, wife. let me hear—"
he choked on his own breath as you suddenly tightened around him, a small, needy whimper breaking from your throat.
"l-let me—fuck, i mean—y-you're so—" zuko scrambled to find his words, his face burning with crimson that had nothing to do with his firebending.
he tried to push back into you, but his hips were moving just as messily as his tongue tripped over itself.
"i'm going to—we're—d-don't look at me like that."
he was embarassed.
the great fire lord, commander of armies and ruler of a global empire, was currently stuck suspended over you, trembling and stuttering like the awkward man you knew before and loved.
"zuzu?"
"i—i am commanding you to—to ignore that," he stuttered again, his voice cracking as he buried his face into the crook of your neck.
this was going to be a long night for the poor fire lord.

Part 2 Part 3

Being a Fire Lord comes with great responsibilities. Zuko’s tumultuous past is proof of that. Regaining his honour was something Zuko didn’t expect to happen this way, especially since he now rules an entire nation. Even so, he will deeply appreciate his firelady for standing right beside him. Meaning — You.
Involved in every issue facing the nation, a hidden activist since his father’s time who managed to stand out to him immediately after Zuko returned to the throne. He couldn’t help but notice your devotion, all the efforts you made, and all the battles you fought against people who still didn’t trust him enough—or worse, who were swayed by his father’s dictatorial regime.
And that is precisely why your unconditional love helps him hope for a better future every single day. And you’re no different. Especially since you’ve noticed how tired your dear husband has been lately, buried in thousands upon thousands of stacks of reports and strategies he has to sign.
Hidden in his office among the papers, behind his desk, Zuko sighed unconsciously. He looked up when he heard the lack of a knock followed by someone walked straight into the place, assuming it couldn’t be anyone but you.
“Good afternoon, my love.” Zuko gave you a weary smile, resting his hand on your waist as you sat on his lap, your arms wrapped around his shoulders. He closed his eyes as you kissed his temple, your tender smile calming his mind.
“Hey there.”
You leaned in slightly to look at the crowded table, Zuko’s hand still moving as the nib pierced the paper with ink.
“I assume my husband will join me later tonight again.” He gave you a short, apologetic look, knowing he had neglected you these last days. But Zuko didn’t know you weren’t really upset about that. Your intention was something else entirely. And he barely caught that when he wanted to speak back, only for his mouth to remain part open slightly as he locked his eyes on yours, seeing a teasing glinting in them while one of your hands starts wandering over his toned body, fingers brushing slowly. “And I think I have an idea how to help him more.”
He gulped; his hand stopped writing entirely as his attention was only on you.
“Y-Yeah? And what this idea might be?”
ꮼ YOU NEVER KNEW HOW MUCH I REALLY LIKED YOU !
cw: bisexual!toph, childhood crush, ANGST with a happy ending, mutual yearning, muscular mother Toph, Lin & Su mentioned, pet names, swearing, kissing, not proofread.
ⓘ Featuring Toph & you have always been oblivious to each other's feelings.
"I'm sorry." Those were the first words out of Toph's lips when you opened your door to find her wringing rainwater from her long black hair, letting it drip into the dirt beneath her feet. "It's been far too long."
"Toph? Did you walk... all this way?" You stuck your head out the door, looking for proof she'd gotten a ride, but no. Just muddy footprints from the road to your door. "Let me get you a towel."
Your home was on the small side, but it'd always been perfect for you, just off the edge of town, half a mile to the nearest neighbors—it gave you time to breathe, to think, and just to relax.
"You don't need to do that, sunshine." Toph huffed, shuffling through your door behind you, a long exhale at the warmth it instantly brought. "I'll be fine."
"You're getting a towel. At least wipe your feet. I'm not in the mood to mop," you hissed, grabbing a towel from a small closet in the hallway. "Besides. You could get sick."
"You're always worrying." Toph sighed, sniffing the air softly—it smelled of vanilla & chocolate. "Did you just make dessert?"
"You're always getting hurt, or sick, or both, or—" You paused, taking a deep breath & rushed back over to Toph, guiding her to your couch. "I just took a shower; it's just some soap I bought in town."
"You know, you should show me the shop sometime; I think the girls would like that soap." Toph hummed, taking a seat & taking the towel from your hands, wiping her feet off quickly. "They've always loved sweets."
"You walked from the city to my place. Why?" You changed the subject, taking the towel from her hands and dropping it in the clothing bin next to your door.
She could hear the tension in your footsteps & could feel how awkward your voice was, a frown etching her lips as she turned her head, following the sound of your voice.
"I didn't walk the whole way. Just from maybe five minutes up the road." She reasoned, leaning against your couch and wiping damp strands from her face. "Just thought it'd be nice to have a moment to myself."
"In the rain... really? Toph, come on. You could have gotten a cold." You murmured, tugging a blanket off the couch & quickly draping it over her.
"Sunshine. Calm down; you're overreacting. There's no need to worry this much." She huffed, playing it off, though she still wrapped the blanket around herself tightly.
"Toph, I've told you to stop calling me that for years—and no, I'm not overreacting; sometimes I can't believe how immature you are." You hissed, taking a seat beside her & attempted to wipe her face dry. "I don't know why you'd risk getting sick."
Toph's body tensed as you touched her; a quiet scoff escaped her lips, & she subtly moved away from you, creating a distance.
"I miss the rain; I miss you," Toph whispered, bluntly. A stark difference from the way she typically held herself. She kept the distance as her fingers tugged on the blanket. "Katara asked to watch the girls for the day, & I wanted to see you... We've barely seen each other lately."
You froze up. Her words rang true; you'd seen each other maybe five times tops in the last two years. "Toph... You have responsibilities now; you're a mom, and you're the head of police, so you're busy. I'm not mad at you for it. I understand." You pressed your palm to her shoulder.
"Well, I don't," she admitted, subtly leaning into your touch, a pitiful laugh escaping her lips. "You have a life too, and you were always there for me. When I got pregnant with Lin, you were still around; after she was born, you stayed around. Same with Su. But lately, I barely even feel you anymore. I hate that. It feels like I lost you."
The silence that followed her admission was almost deafening, and it hurt just how true it was—a few years prior, the suggestion alone that you'd go one week without talking would have been laughable, let alone going months without talking.
"I didn't know it was upsetting you that much," you croaked, giving her shoulder a soft squeeze, before sliding your hand to rub her bicep in soothing circles. "It's okay. We're okay; we're still friends. Life just... got away from us."
Toph froze, taking a deep breath before placing her hand firmly over yours, tugging it off & cradling it in her palm. "You should be mad, sunshine. I never visit. I never bring the girls around; I never do anything but worry you." Her voice broke, and her fingers clamped around yours.
Your fingers instinctively intertwined with hers, a hushing noise escaping as you tangled your free hand in her hair. "Toph. Don't say that—don't think that. I get worried because I care. It doesn't make me less proud of you; I am so proud of you, are you kidding?"
"I'm still sorry." She whispered, free hand landing on your thigh, an attempt at tugging the blanket over your lap, hand remaining still as she groaned. "I've been such a bad friend to you these past few years; I don't get how you're not more upset. You've barely seen me—"
"Toph Beifong," you hissed, tugging lightly on her hair to shut her up. "I am a big girl. I can handle not seeing you as often as we used to."
She gasped softly, twitching away from your touch before lightly slapping your thigh. "No pulling." She grunted, tucking the blanket so it would comfortably rest on your laps.
"Sorry," you cooed, gently rubbing her scalp to soothe the sore spot. "You're impeccable. Republic City would be nothing without your hard work. You're not a bad friend. You're perfect; it's okay. You need to stop demeaning yourself like that."
Seeing Toph so distraught was... bizarre to say the least. It was hard to believe such a strong woman was actively tearing up on your couch over something so fixable, feeling so miserable.
"You've always been there for me, taking care of me, helping me at my lowest. Kanto didn't help nearly as much as you did after Lin, and what did I do in return? I just stopped showing up for you. How are you so okay with this?" Toph murmured, tears brimming her eyes.
She had depended on you after Lin was born; you'd watch the baby as she bathed, help her walk, try to keep her happy, and took care of her overall.
"Toph." You rasped, dropping her hand to cradle her face, slipping from her hair to her jaw & gently stroking her cheek with your thumb. "Listen to me." She nodded, slowly exhaling. "I'm not mad at you. I get that you feel angry at yourself, but I'm not mad. You're a mom. You're the head of the police. And, you're my best friend. You'll always be my best friend."
The tears spilled down her cheeks, pooling down the sides of your thumbs. Tophs shaky hands found your waist & pulled you closer, close enough she could rest her forehead on your shoulder.
One of your hands found purchase in her hair again, softly scratching at her scalp, & the other pressed firmly between her shoulder blades, pressing her closer.
"Life didn't give me much, but it gave me you. I'll always have you." You whispered softly, trying to calm her down, eyes fluttering as Toph's hands rubbed your hips. "You'll always have me."
"I missed you," Toph admitted, voice slightly muffled by your chest. "I missed you, couldn't just get my shit together, and I really missed you." She slid her hands up, flat against your lower back & crushed you against herself.
"I missed you, too, Toph." You squeaked, startled by the new position—she was almost pressing you flat against the couch cushions, though it felt oddly comforting.
Reminiscent of the nights spent in your teenage years, cuddled up for warmth on Appa's back & forgetting the rest of the world existed.
"The girls miss you; they thought we had some big blowout or something." Toph laughed, pressing her face into your shoulder, though it sounded closer to a sob. "It's just been hard to be around you."
You paused, fingers freezing in place on her scalp, blinking twice as her words registered. "What do you mean... hard to be around me?" Your voice broke off at the end, & Toph stiffened in your hold.
It took a moment, like Toph was trying to figure out what to say, her fingers trembling on your lower back. "I can always be honest with you... right?" She exhaled slowly, pulling back from you to wipe one of her cheeks.
"Of course, speak your mind," you assured, slipping your hands to rest on her biceps, giving her room to breathe.
"I got mad at you; it's so stupid, but every time we were together, I was furious at you, and you didn't even do anything wrong. Toph hissed, dragging one of her hands down her face before shifting away from you.
That was the first time you'd ever even thought she'd been angry with you—shocking to say the least.
"Okay... Why were you so angry?" You whispered, taking a gentle tone, fingers tensing on her arms just enough to show this was dangerous territory.
"I tried hard to make it work with Lin's dad. You saw it; everything fell apart. I tried harder with Su's father, which ended worse... and you were there for me; you were there during both." She said each word as if it were painful to admit.
Toph groaned, guiding your hands from her body, curling one of her knees to her chest, & rested her chin on it. Her fingers lingered on your skin before pulling back and continuing.
"Neither of them felt right. I thought if I tried harder, or just ignored the growing pit in my stomach, that I could learn to love them—I could learn to accept them in my life, but... it never worked. They weren't you." She admitted, retracting into herself on the final word, tucking the blanket closer.
She looked almost pitiful; your best friend looked like just a shell of the strong, smart & independant woman she'd always been. The one you'd always cherished.
"Toph." You whispered, reaching out, hand hovering over hers for just a moment, before grasping it, giving it a soft squeeze, trying to calm her down. "What are you saying?"
"No matter how hard I tried, no man was ever able to replace you, sunshine." Her voice wavered, fingers tangling themselves between yours as her body slowly relaxed. "I could never love a man, at least not how I love you."
Those words left you both silent. Toph looked relieved, like she'd finally let a thousand-pound weight off her shoulders. You, on the other hand had pure shock etched across your face.
Overthinking every moment spent with her, every affectionate touch, every quiet giggle as you'd teased each other, every time you'd slept in the others' beds, & each time you'd wished Toph would want you, instead of the men that'd beg for her attention.
All of those sad, quiet moments you'd spent years learning to bury and ignore, just to be told she'd felt the same way—hit you like a truck.
Then, you laughed. Not a joyous laugh, one that sounded much sadder than Toph anticipated, one that sent a tingle down her spine while she waiting for your response.
"You love me?" You croaked, giving her hand a tight squeeze, thumb brushing the back of it slowly. "You're in love with me?"
"Hey! Don't make me regret telling you." Toph hissed, shifting her legs uncomfortably. "Do you have anything else to say? At all?"
"You full-on sobbed on my couch because liking girls made you mad." You teased, wiping under her eye carefully as she scoffed.
"Liking girls didn't piss me off. Liking you pissed me off." She groaned, but leaned into your touch, adjusting her fingers between yours. "Does it make you uncomfortable?"
"What? No!? Not at all, it's okay." You assured, fingers lingering on her cheek before slipping to cradle her jaw. "I'm not entirely upset by what you told me, don't worry."
"You're upset?" She rasped, body tensing beneath your touch, before pulling away slightly.
"Don't you dare." You hissed, pulling her closer. "I'm upset it took you this long to tell me Toph." You slowly let go of her hand, bringing yours to brush through her hair slowly.
"Sunshine, you can't scare me like that." She mumbled, leaning closer. "It's really rude." Her fingers found your waist, holding you steady as a flush dusted her cheeks.
"That wasn't rude, taking fifteen years to try to kiss someone you love is rude." You whispered, tilting her chin up just slightly, bringing her lips closer to yours.
"I didn't—" Toph began, but instantly shut up once she felt your lips against her, a soft gasp escaping her lips before she melted into you, kissing back quickly.
"I did. Do you accept my apology?" You cooed in her ear after pulling back, tensing as Toph crushed you against her chest. "Toph?"
"Do it again, I dare you, sunshine."

Toph Modern AU (ig and tiktok: k.rwly)
I wanted to represent people with visual impairment more so I gave Toph a service dog inspired by badgermoles. At the same time despite that I think she'd also be an athlete, a paralympic wrestler (she gives me pitfighter vibes like her first arcs). I watched a documentary on a blind wrestler that said wrestling is a pretty good sport for blind people considered it relied more on physical contact and grappling. Blindness can come in a spectrum, some still have 40% vision, some have 10% which can be used slightly in that sport. Anyways hope you all like my take on modern au toph ^^
Thinking about doing the rest of the gaang if this goes well ^^
are you mine?

The halls of the Fire Lord's palace glowed beneath warm firelight, their amber glow reflecting off polished stone and lacquered wood. Fire Nation nobility mingled through the grand reception hall while musicians played softly from a raised platform, the melody weaving through conversations and laughter.
Everyone had attended, and the Gaang looked strangely elegant.
Aang wore Air Nomad robes specially tailored for the occasion, formal enough for royal company while still unmistakably his own. Katara stood beside him in a breathtaking Water Tribe gown of deep sapphire silk trimmed with white fur around the shoulders. Sokka had reluctantly accepted wearing Fire Nation formalwear, though he'd already loosened the collar twice. Zuko donned the elegant attire of the Fire Lord, in deep crimson and rich gold, inspiring power and authority.
Toph stood out in her own way. Instead of flowing robes, she'd chosen something practical. Her dark emerald jacket was cut much like a fitted suit, embroidered subtly with gold threading that resembled veins of ore through stone; matching trousers replaced the skirts expected at court. It somehow suited her perfectly—sharp, confident, unapologetically unconventional.
omg something with gp!toph accidentally knocking you up and getting so excited about it...
like now she can cum in you without worrying because you're already pregnant?
𐐪 toph b. + pregnant!reader.
ᰔ warnings: afab!reader. gp!toph. slight mean!toph but what’s new? p in v. unprotected sex ⤿ wrap b4 you tap!!! creampie. written in public & NOT proofread….i’m deeply sorry…..
oh yeah, i just know toph would be so smug about the fact that she’s got you knocked up with her baby!! as a matter of fact, she’s thrilled to see all the factors that come with it too….
this leads us to a thought she’s been processing after a good while: given that you’re already pregnant, there should be no issue to cum in you from now on, right? ;) sure, what common knowledge is, toph never avoided wearing a condom if it was from your personal demand, and that’s a boundary she’d never cross.
though, now that the barrier’s been removed…..
as well when the pregnancy hormones start to flick around your inner libido, you find yourself hopelessly horny, stuck at some points in your life in which you probably shouldn’t be like this- constantly thinking of toph’s dick stuffing you full. but oh well, it’s not like you control it! belly swollen with the fruit of your love & clit already throbbing underneath the fabric of your thin panties, the restraining clothing material clings onto every upright nerve of your body.
you give a chance to all the remaining options: forcing yourself to not give up to your cravings; palpating your sore breasts above your t-shirt; and lastly but not least, you eventually end up rubbing your clit through the soaked material of your panties. the only thing on the table is to wake toph up, but that isn’t something you’d do normally, so you struggle & take a breather before thinking it through. then you realize how frustrating it is for you to carry such weight and that she’s the one who put it that way, so a few less hours of sleep won’t kill her. if anything, toph feels blessed to kill some nighttime with breeding you without taking precautions by now!
and given the wet dream she was witnessing in her mind, too, it doesn’t take long to fall for your indulgence. as soon as her eyelids come down to her senses, feeling your slight poking in order to catch her attention, she hears from your complaints & instinctively knows what to do.
a few minutes pass before toph’s already hard cock can finally feel you warmth, listening to your moans as she pounds into you feverishly. though your sounds leave her breathlessly content, you can’t deny that toph’s using your cunt for her own pleasure, so don’t expect her to stop right away. “fuck,” she rasps, sensing as your puffy folds part around the length. “can’t do anything but take it, fucking cockslut…” and not to mention how her full-blown cockiness turns you on even more; even if she’d like to sweet-talk you with the baby in your belly, you assured her of how much you enjoy when she’s mean to you, so she won’t change onto that.
“a-ahh!!!” you shamelessly moan, head throwing back & mouth hanging open. if only toph could see the way your full breasts bounce, or how beautiful you look with your tummy swollen, she’d go even crazier than she actually is. “o-ohh my god! s-so deep baby…”
“uh-huh, y’like that?” she pounces, easily slipping her cock in & out of your plush cunt given the sheer of wetness you produce. the way her tip brushes along that sweet spot inside you has you both on the verge to come, which initiates your begging.
“give it to me-” you pant, hips jerking towards her thrusts. “f-fuck, need to feel it so- ugh, so bad!”
toph’s movements are on their own now, twitching uncontrollably against your g-spot as her orgasm approaches. fuck, you need it, she needs it. “shit- really? want me to breed you again? aren’t you- uh, the prettiest mama already?” her grip on your thighs won’t loosen for god’s sake, it’s all overstimulating. you already went dumb on toph’s cock & by now it’s too late to even pull out anyway (that’s how you got pregnant in the first place 😝😝).
“don’t care,” it seems like you’re babbling nonsense, just like expected at this point. “p-please, cum in me- augh! wantitsobad!” you mewl in one, languid whine.
“holy spirits-” she hisses, teeth gritting violently at how tight you’re getting around her. “fuck, keep squeezing me like that,”
you can actually feel how her cock throbs within your slick walls, now strangling it to the max so she can struggle to thrust properly. toph loves whenever you get needy, and given the state you’re in, it isn’t the last time she’ll find you begging for her; and how to deny you when your lips curl in such pout?
“oh fuck,” she gasps against your lips, swollen from the roughness of her previous kisses. “gonna cum, gonna cum inside you- fuckfuck!”
“y-yes! please!”
her frantic bumps quickly stop as your cunt convulses, leaving her milked & dry as her cum oozes inside you, the orgasm tearing through both of you. toph eases in you, trying to slow her pace radically as the aftershock hits, before you can recover & gain consciousness again. her cum dribbles at your entrance, thick globes of pearly substance roaming down on the space in which her cock isn’t buried. “you’re going to kill me, mama…” toph mutters in a chuckle, letting you relax in her hold, finally.

Dusty paths beneath their feet, Appa's steady breathing during long stretches of travel, campfires under open skies, and the comfortable chaos that always seemed to follow the Gaang wherever they went. It felt almost like old times—except not quite.

So now they have a new student but Also they finally have a school nurse instead of the teachers having to take care of a bunch of teen boys who like to fuck around randomly and with zero reason and indeed find out and have to go to the hospital wing of the school😭. It would also be funny if the staff +Lilia (maybe Leona it's up to you) was pining after this poor woman and very openly flirt with her (Sam and Vargas I'm looking at you) and she's completely oblivious to all of it because again she's been employed as a full time school nurse for a school full of dumb teenage boys that are constantly getting hurt. And maybe some of them have this little puppy crush (ace and sebek) while others see her as a better mother figure (riddle, yuu, grim and Jamil) because she's actually taking care of them while she still scolds them for doing dumb shit and getting themselves hurt ( she cooks much for Jamil sometimes so he can have a break and will bring riddle little treats that she has in her pocket mostly for him and grim) and trien us trying to get all of the other staff away from his new daughter and he keeps telling her that she needs a damn break. I'm thinking of the reader being a little older maybe mid to late 20s or early 30s
Please note: I haven't played the game since like early last year/late 2023. So if Casper is too ooc/ this sucking, my bad. I will replay the game again soon. I missed my reaper ngl.
I think Casper would hold a grudge against you if you left for too long. Like the chat logs, is one thing. Sure you go to bed, maybe you had work, or perhaps an assignment to finish. But when he lives with you, eats the same food as you, shares a routine with you?
You even have the privilege of holding/cuddling Azrael. So how dare you, how dare you leave for over an hour to get dinner for the both of you and leave Casper staring at a ceiling.
In his mind, he is terribly upset, but in reality, he's touch-starved and loves you too much. Casper now can barely go an hour without seeing you in sole capacity. He's already texted you 5 times to "check" on you. Lying in your bed, talked to your animal companion, even swore how "annoyed" he was. But nope, he just missed your warmth.
"Come back to me sunshine...you feel so far away." He'd whisper against your pillow, it felt like you, smelt like you, but wasn't you. So it will do for now.
When did you come home? 2 hours later. That's it. You enter your apartment and see the a grim reaper flat on your bed, curled up and sulking. "Drama quren." You muttered. (This isn't the first time)
But you set thr bags down and came up beside him on the bed, moving a white strand of ghostly hair aside from his beautiful face. Your lips press a kiss to his cheek whispering a small apology for being gone so long, some excuse about traffic. "I know you missed me Casper, I find it sweet."
"I find it humiliating." He whispered, again how dare you! But there was never any bite, instead he nodded his head for you to join him in his sulking fest, easily you stayed in his arms, tight and firm(not enough to hurt) and you stayed like that for a while.
"Casper. The food is going to get cold."
"I prefer it that way, and stop moving." He huffed, his chest felt fuzzy again, and his cheeks had a slight warmth to them. Instead of seeing the smug look on your face, he buried his head into your shoulder, clinging to you longer.
"Drama queen." Is all you can say. But he is yours, so you gotta deal with it.
->My goodness, sorry if this sucked
Smut so good I had to draw him
My simple KNY AU where everything's the same, but almost all Kizuki are Hashira!! Gyutaro would be in Giyuu's place- finding Tanjiro and Nezuko in the beginning and having sympathy on them because they remind him of him and Ume.
Before I said he'd be the poison Hashira, but I think he'd be the water pillar, then create his own breathing technique, Blood Breathing!
I have so many notes on the au, maybe I'll keep going with it ♡

Ryland Grace x F!Second Survivor Reader
Summary: the Eridian scientists haven't quite gotten the heat in the biodome right just yet, leaving Reader and Ryland to come up with their own way of staying warm.
Contents: it's smut, there is so very, very little plot in this. Reader is supposed to be the Hail Mary's engineer. There's no reference or implication to Reader's age so you can read her/them as whatever age you like. explicit sexual content. oral sex (f!receiving). unprotected piv & creampie. They're both a lil silly and giggly but soft dom Ryland (if you squint). Consent king Ryland btw.
A/N: yeah, look. I don't have an excuse for this. Ryland Grace lives rent free in my head.
W/C: 4.6k
The biodome temperature is plummeting. It's not cold enough that you're at imminent risk of freezing to death, but it's definitely gone beyond a bit cold and headed firmly in the direction of uncomfortable.
You've got three layers on and it's still cold. Long since having abandoned even attempting to sleep, you try to keep yourself from feeling too miserable. At least there's fresh air.
Aside from being cold, though, you're also exhausted. When morning comes, you can probably speak to the Eridian scientists about adjusting the temperature in the biodome, but first you have to make it through the night.
A soft knock on your bedroom door tells you that Ryland isn't doing much better.
bf!ryland grace picking you up from work ⏾⋆.˚
(enjoy me cleaning out my drafts full of bf!ryland grace)
ryland loves his job for many reasons. working with kids turned out to be really fulfilling and he loves building relationships with them. but now that he’s dating you, his personal favorite is he gets out early enough to pick you up from work everyday.
it’s the bay area, and with him both of you working in the city, taking public transit just makes life easier. and now that you’re living together, ryland is living the dream.he walks you to work, hand in hand, every morning. he gets off at the same stop as you, walks you to your office building, always making sure to give you a slow, loving and deep goodbye kiss. so you won’t forget about him during the day, of course. then he walks down the block to hop on the bus that drops him off right at the school.
and every afternoon, ryland takes the bus back to your building, and sits in the little quad area right outside. sometimes he’ll grade something small, like an easy worksheet he had his students do, or he’ll read to fill the time to wait for you. other times he’ll sit and people watch, then he’ll tell you all the silly stories he made up about them on the way home. and sometimes when you’ve had a particularly hard day, he’ll find a little treat to surprise you with. whether it be a a pastry, or flowers, really anything to get you to smile. (that man loves surprising you with flowers. he likes the particular look on your face when admiring them and the genuine appreciation in your eyes when you thank him).
and you’ve told him before that he doesn’t need to drop you off and pick you up from work. “im a big girl, ry. you don’t have to wait for me if you’re tired from work.” you tell him one morning, legs tangled together, your head on his chest. he looks at you, sleep still in his eyes, but a playful smirk on his face. “why? is your other boyfriend getting jealous i get all your time.” you smack his chest, giggling you lol up at him. “no, he knows your my favorite.” you barely get out before he squeezes your side, tickling you.
“ry, im being serious.” you pout at his betrayal of your defenseless state. “trust me, we all know you can take care of yourself. i’ve told you many times that you’re a little scary.” he laughs and you rolls your eyes, attempting to push yourself off of him. but he holds your tighter against him. “i do it because i want to. i like to know you’re safe, and i want to spend every. single. second i can with you before you leave me all day.” he punctuates every word with a kiss, the last one landing on your lips. “i just want to take care of you. make sure my girl is okay.” and you melt at his words. you were so in love with him, and it was written all over your face.
you and work friends all walk out together, laughing at whatever stupid joke one of you made about someone else in the office. and ryland hears your polite chuckles over every sound in the city, and immediately gets up for his seat, walking towards you. your coworkers spot him first, shouting a “you’re bodyguard is here!” and he nods politely at them. he always pulls you into the biggest, bone crushing hug, then cradles your face, kissing you like he hasn’t seen you in years - and if you ask him anytime away from you is too long.
“hi baby,” you say against his lips. and you hear your coworkers snicker at the two of you. “see you guys tomorrow,” but your attention is not on them anymore, just fully focused on the man in front of you. “see you both tomorrow. don’t have too much fun,” as they walk the opposite way from you and ryland. it doesn’t matter that his backpack is already on, he’s carrying your bag while his free hand reaches for your hand.
“anything particular you want for dinner tonight?” you ask, kissing his shoulder as you approach the crosswalk. the light turns red and you guys wait for the light to change. he pulls you in him, his front flush against your back, mouth dipping to your ear. “no, but i know what i want for dessert.” he rasps in your ear. you laugh pushing him slightly, “what you missed me or something?” he kisses the top of your head and the light changes and he leads you across the street. “oh honey, you have no idea how much.”
