been thinking about love letters to nature

I think part of my weird anxiety about becoming christian was also due to seeing a lot of overlap in the way christians and spiritual (for lack of better term) people speak about things like demons and conspiracy theories but sadly I just think it's the fact that anyone is susceptible to varying levels of religious psychosis. Or at the very least just fear mongering and spreading misinformation
I want a practice that's more grounded. I think that's where I was getting away from myself a bit, I was subconsciously trying to think my way out of uncomfortable situations and masking it with spell work or readings. At this point, if I do any workings I want them to be really specific rituals. I'll still do readings for myself and approach them with more curiosity.
Honestly I had been treating my practice like one more thing to cross off a to do list and I'm hoping to be much more intentional going forward.

as irrational as it sounds, I think for a long time my "spiritual crisis" was related to me feeling worried that I would become Christian. which is so interesting because as a child I was raised Christian and I left it behind in my teens and for years after that I felt sort of guilty (?) deep down or concerned but I would still go to hell or that I had made the wrong decision.
throughout my life I have explored a lot and Christianity just never really fit for me. but I think seeing so many women online as well as in real life go from being these free spirited spiritual women to really hard line Christian (Christian nationalist, really) it worried me. It worried me in general for what that meant for us as a society but also deep down a weirdly worry that I myself would do the same (not necessarily be Christian nationalist. I wouldn't be welcome there anyway lol). part of that is definitely me just needing to touch grass and talk to different people but I feel like I have finally come to peace with the fact that no, I am not at all drawn to any organized religion. I don't even want to be in a coven. I think I just needed to make changes to my practice which I feel like I have finally done in a way that feels like exactly what I need.

i have so much love to give, and therefore receive, that my heart is aching.
my fingers yearn to absentmindedly play with theirs as i grow bored. my hands yearn to hold theirs and squeeze to remind them iβm there. my arms yearn to hold them tightly when theyβre weak. my legs yearn to tangle with theirs as we giggle about our days. my eyes yearn to gaze upon their face as they ramble on to me. my lips yearn to devour theirs whenever they smile at me. my head yearns to find the crook of their neck as i leave soft kisses along their collarbone. my body yearns to be held and tenderly taken care of when i have a rough day.
puttering around the house is an underrated form a self-care. make some tea or coffee. put on a podcast. sort the mail. tidy some pillows and fold some blankets. start the laundry. thaw some soup. just casually wander around aimlessly doing little things to make your space and life a little nicer. who cares if you get distracted or only do a little. you aren't being productive. you're puttering.

for a while I was taking a break from my practice and now it sort of feels like I'm avoiding it and I'm not really sure why. I think I just have to make myself jump back in.
I've been feeling really creatively uninspired so that's probably a factor
