I just realised where Kylo got his name from:
Ky = sKYwalker
Lo = soLO
Ren = literally just his birth name with an R
which means that when he was choosing his super scary Dark Lord name, he just mashed up the surnames of the most positive figures in his life. poor sod canāt even evil right
literally aĀ āwhat is your star wars nameā meme
2nd two letters of your motherās last name Last two letters of your fatherās last name
1st three letters of your name but with an R
I didnt see that coming

literally everyone needs to see the seventh episode of masters of none, aziz ansariās show. it highlights feminism and problems women face quite well in a realistic manner.

Isis Anchalee is a platform engineer at a company called OneLogin who appeared in a recruiting ad for her company. The ad sparked some sexist social media commentary from people who implied that this actual image of an actual woman who is an actual engineer was not a plausible āimage of what a female engineer looks like.ā She launched the Ā hashtag #ILookLikeAnEngineer in response to show that women who are also engineers look like ⦠women.
Does an engineer look like this?Ā
Yes.
When I code I like listening to metal or classical music. I feel more focused on programming. So Iām curious, do you listen to music while coding? If you do, what do you listen to?
I went through a metal stage, and at the office of the internship Iām attending there is sometimes metal put on in the background, but at the moment Iām really into 1hr EDM mixes and mashups of pop songs. They fill the silence so I can just focus on the code, although if I need to think about what Iām doing then the music goes off for a minute, then its back on to implement.
I read that people who have answered me likes classical, metal/hard rock and electronic music. I have friends who prefer to program with classic rock, indie or kpop. Also one of my closest friends doesnāt like listening to music. I found thisĀ particularly interesting haha.
When I code I love to listen to EDM, often really loud and fast stuff like The Bloody Beetroots, but this is only when I know what I'm doing. When I have to think about classes or algorithms I have to pace my room or go for a walk, only listening to calm music if any. I think these just help match my thinking processes.
My best day had to be the day after I wrapped Guardians of the Galaxy. I was very homesick and coming home to my wife, and to my home, and to my son, who was at the time 13 months old. My wife told me āHey listen, thereās a chance he wonāt recognize you, but thatās okay that happens all the time. He doesnāt know ā he might be a little shy.ā So I came in there, and he just sat right up and he had this big smile on his face. He said āDaddy, daddy, daddy!ā I just started to cry, and he looked at me and he saw the tears in my eyes and he just started smiling, and doing bits immediately, to try and make me laugh. Heād jump up and down. And that just made me cry more. And he touched the tears on my face and everything. It was the first real human moment that happened between the two of us. I think he recognized that I was sad and he was essentially forgiving me for being gone so long. That was my best day.
Upon further reflection, Bronwyn Bishop decided to catch the train from now on.
