I have a weird desire to be bigender but I feel like I don't feel it at heart. I'm a trans man but I feel incredibly repulsed by femininity/anything outside of staunchly "man" applied to me. I really resonate with symbols of duality internally too but it's a struggle

perhaps for you, bigenderism entails manhood, and another masculine gender? neutrality can also exist in a bigender identity, it's okay to be a bigender man who is repulsed by femininity! bigender people are not always a man and a woman, there's a lot of room to stretch your legs

why must gays and lesbians specifically be corralled into the tightest, most restrictive boxes logically possible? to keep them "pure"? i wonder where that logic comes from !

be kind to kids (yes, this includes teenagers) who identify as nonhuman, otherkin, fictionkin, therian, alterhuman, or a furry. they are living their life the way that makes sense to them. they don't deserve an "i told you so" if they grow out of identifying that way later on. they don't deserve to be asked "aren't you too old for that now?" they don't deserve to be laughed at and mocked online. children forming a wolf pack aren't hurting anyone. kids who want to meet other kids who identify as nonhuman aren't embarrassing.

kids need a sense of community no matter who they are. kids deserve the right to identify their own feelings. kids are allowed to express parts of themselves adults find "embarrassing". adults are allowed to do all of these things, too, but it's become routine for folks online to mock literal children for embarrassing behavior.

identifying as an animal isn't embarrassing; what is embarrassing is being an adult and picking on literal children. who cares, it's not hurting a singular soul. let them explore identity in ways that make sense to them. identifying as nonhuman isn't a danger to anyone else. they aren't hurting themselves. let them identify as a nonhuman and explore what that means to them. let them live their lives.

don't make fun of adults who identify as nonhuman, either: making fun of other people for identities that express who they are that do not involve anything inherently violent or oppressive toward others is never funny. many nonhuman identifying individuals are neurodivergent and their nonhuman nature is heavily related to that; autism, adhd, schizophrenia, ocd, personality disorders and many other types of neurodivergence can lead one to identifying as nonhuman.

trauma can cause folks to identify as nonhuman. people who have experienced trauma, especially mental, emotional, physical and sexual abuse can feel dehumanized and alienated, some folks are even trained to believe they are animals, usually dogs. many abusive folks will literally treat their children like literal dogs to the point of calling them one. of course they're going to internalize that.

many nonhumans are trans; the experience of being trans in our modern society is very alienating, there is a very good reason why transness and nonhumanity go hand in hand. another reason for that is because it is often a gender neutral or gender affirming way to express one's self- many folks gravitate toward feeling like an animal because there may be less sexual dimorphism in that species.

many nonhumans are spiritual. spiritual beliefs are highly personal, and someone telling them that their spiritual beliefs do not involve nonhumanity is uncalled for. you have no idea what their spirituality and spiritual experience looks like, its their right to define it, whether its about past lives, spirit possession, walk-ins, or whatever it may be.

and even if an adult nonhuman is none of these things, it's still not funny to mock them. this is who they feel they really are. you have no right to tell them who they are and are not- that is up for them to decide. adults have the right to identify as nonhuman, too, no matter what the reason for, and not be mocked. there's nothing to mock here, it's literally just people living their lives the way that make the most sense to us.

don't make fun of anyone who identifies as nonhuman, period.

the term lesbian means many, many things, but it has never and will never mean "hates men,". when you want to say "i hate men" you should say "i hate men". just say what you mean. lesbian means having a queer relationship with sexuality, gender, presentation, and/or biological sex, it means something about who you love and who loves you, but it does NOT mean hate or who you pathologically hide from. it will never stand for who you hate, only for who you are, who you find community with, and/or who you love. inclusion, not exclusion.

it's okay to be fat and like to eat. it's okay to be fat and enjoy cooking, baking, grilling, canning, drying or preparing foods. it's okay to be fat and work a restaurant or bakery and enjoy what you do. it's okay to be fat and not ashamed of eating in public. it's okay to be fat, but it's especially okay to be fat and have a positive relationship with food. people are supposed to enjoy eating, it's where we get our energy from, it's a very positive and nourishing experience for our bodies, it's okay if it's positive and nourishing to your mental health, too. fat people are allowed to eat, and we're allowed to enjoy doing it, too.

people completely overlook the beauty in the minutiae of it/its pronouns and its implications- it can refer to a beautiful piece of crystal, it can refer to gorgeous flowers, it can refer to pretty clothes, it can refer to cute animals like mice and rats, it can refer to majestic animals like wolves and elk, it can refer to a breath taking piece of art, it can refer to an accomplishment, it can refer to anything.

it can have neutral and positive implications. stop focusing on perceived negatives and let it go: there's nothing wrong with people using it/its pronouns, especially if we only use it/its pronouns. we are not a danger to you or anyone else. it's not uncomfortable. let go of your discomfort over someone else's comfort.
