My mother passed away on Valentine’s Day 2021.
She was an incredible woman with a heart of gold, she was the best mom for me and my brother. Our mama gave us everything she could and played the role of both parents our entire lives. The world will never be the same without her.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 19 and my brother was 21. We were her caretakers. Some days it felt like it was us three against the world. Our mama was stubborn and strong willed, she fought with all she could. We are grateful for the last five years we spent together, and we will miss her until the end of time.
We were by her side in the ICU on Valentine’s day as she peacefully fell into eternal slumber, surrounded by love. She will be alive in our hearts forever, and now she’s my forever valentine 🤍
