I’ve heard worries that Only Fans might be reverting to its plans to boot sex workers. In 2020, there was mass outrage when the well-known site for explicit creators, Only Fans, came to a decision. Though it was understandable due to most payment processers aversion to adult work, it was a low blow. Explicit creators were a large reason that the platform grew.

Many spoke out as feeling that the platform was giving them a large slap in the face. Spitting in the face of the clients that grew your site is not the way to go. Realizing that between the sex workers needing to leave the platform, those leaving in solidarity, and the major outrage, Only Fans decided to reconsider.

Though it was the correct decision to do so, many knew it was to save their butt. It really damaged its relationship with the adult creators, making it hard to trust the company. With good reason, too. Would they try to do it again?
