It’s National Hairstylists Appreciation day, and this stylist is 80 hours away from graduation! I’m so excited for my future as a stylist, and I’m very incredibly thankful for all my friends and family who have supported me throughout this journey!! It was difficult, but I’ve never made myself so proud for accomplishing so much! I’m so thankful for the educators who actually cared about me and my goals and helped me reach them! I made a great choice going to school for this! I’m happy I made some great friends along they way, and I hope nothing but the best for them and their futures! I hate going to bed alone...

Leaves me to my thoughts. Images of my past. Sounds I most desperately cling to... I beg the voices to stop screaming in my ears.

In the deadly silence, the creatures that lurk as I slumber never seems so bad when I have someone next to me. His breath breaks the cold stillness and his exhale warms my head. His hand gently runs through my hair brushing a bit from my face.

Knowing he’s there to protect me from the shadows that stalk me is all I need to sleep.

God I hate sleeping alone...
