Interested in an overwater bungalow for your honeymoon?  Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort is a pretty ridiculously picture perfect option.  These private and super romantic bungalows each come with a private deck and glass table inside, where you can watch stingrays and sharks swim past.  Back on land, the resort has a beautiful Tahitian style pool area, full restaurant and bar.  If you book their Honeymoon Package, they'll need to see your wedding certificate in person, but you'll receive a discount on your room, as well as complimentary breakfast and dinner each day, a bottle of wine upon arrival and a black pearl pendant for the bride.  If you can tear yourself away from the beauty of your bungalow, there are an overwhelming amount of activity options offered through the hotel including mini golf, snorkeling with sharks and kayaking to other islands in the area.  It'll be a bit of a mission to get to your bungalow, but a strong drink at the pool should wipe away and jet lag or travel aches.  First, fly into Tahiti's International Airport. From there, Air Tahiti has five daily flights into Bora Bora.  You can take a speedboat from the airport directly to the resort. Did you know that Mexico has a wine region?  A two hour drive south of the border and reveals a little slice of foodie/wine-o heaven, known as Valle de Guadalupe.  The Wall Street Journal's Travel Section recently did a piece on the surprisingly upscale chic-ness of the area, which has resulted in a mini tourism boom for this otherwise sleepy valley.  In the heart of Valle de Guadalupe, Endemico is a five star boutique hotel with 20 cabins spread out among the minimal desert property.  Guests are greeted with a glass of wine during check in and then driven up to their loft via SUV.  Each loft has an open and airy feel, with giant floor to ceiling windows, as well as a private patio with sweeping views of the stunning landscape and fire pit.  Guests are given a walkie talkie to communicate with staff, who will happily deliver coffee or snacks to your room.  When you're ready to visit a few of the local wineries for the day, just send a request over your radio; their staff will swing by in a golf cart to drive you down to your vehicle.  Plush lounge chairs and uninterrupted views of the valley make their infinity pool area (where you'll also find their bar/restaurant) the perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon, post-wine tasting.  Rooms start at $170 and extras including flowers, wine, cheeseboard can be added to your total while booking online.

Ok, so this is kind of ridiculous, but I had to let people know about this place!  There is a private island in the Bahamas with a two mile circular sand bar (see above).  If you're interested in visiting, your only option is to rent the entire island.  Oh and the island is owned by "illusionist" David Copperfield.  Musha Cay is located in the Southern Bahamas, 85 miles from Nassau.  First the bad news.  $37,000 per night, 4 night minimum.  Now the good news.  Everything you'll need is included in the price and you can bring up to 24 people to enjoy the island with you!  The onsite Island Coordinator manages the five villas and will work tirelessly to make your island getaway dreams true.  Cathy (who has the best job ever!) will work with you ahead of time to design a menu, tailored to your dietary restrictions and preferences.  Interested in a private fireworks show?  That'll cost an extra $25,000 but it can certainly be arranged.  Every single water sport toy you can think of is available for use, Houdini's personal pool table is located in the game room and movie nights take place in an outdoor theater on the beach, complete with popcorn and Junior Mints.  The price tag is high, but this place just might be worth every penny.

Last night, I saw this place featured on Travel Channel's 1,000 Places To See Before You Die and I kind of couldn't believe my eyes.  Located in Venice, Italy, it was opened in the 1950's (by the creator of the bellini cocktail!) and has been frequented by the rich and famous for decades.  Its definitely one of the most luxurious honeymoon destinations in the world.  Rooms start at about 1,000 euros a night, so this hotel would be ideal for a couple that wants to splurge a little while visiting the City of Water.  Enjoy a decadent breakfast in bed (included in room rate), enjoy a day in a cabana by the hotel's pool, take in a sunset gondola ride to dinner, followed by gelato in St. Marks Square.  Afterward, retreat to your luscious and super romantic oasis at Hotel Cipriani but first stop in the bar and ask for a  "Buona Notte", a cocktail created by George Clooney.
