Hi! I'm finally making a ~proper~ intro post/masterlist but it's under the cut to keep things neat <3

Sweetheart fades in and out during a summer solstice. Their powers are out of control and don’t listen to them, so sometimes, without realising, they’ll become invisible for a few seconds before going back to normal.

Milo hates it. He knows just how much pride Sweetheart has in the masterful control they have of their stealth magic. He’s seen it first hand. He’s heard of the risky jobs they had to go through but carried out perfectly with their skill and finesse.

But here they were, fading in his arms. He can physically feel them still there, but every now and then it looks like he’s holding air.

The disappointment they have in themself shows on their face every time they return to normal, and it breaks his heart.

It’s hard to be confident in the abilities you spent years mastering to lose it all in one day. (Although they both know they’ll be back to normal tomorrow, it doesn’t undo the negative experience today.)

On these days Milo holds them as much as possible so that he can be there to keep them together if they fall apart. Quick trips to the kitchen are done hand in hand. Naps on the couch are done in each other’s arms. Every time Sweetheart fades, he calms them with his arms around their body, hands stroking their back as he reassures them that he’s here, that they’re still the amazing stealth they are, that what’s happening today doesn’t change anything about them, even if it doesn’t feel that way. Sweetheart seems full of confidence on the surface, but they’re much softer than many expect them to be on the inside.

Milo knows.

“I see you, baby.” He whispers in their ear as the waves came and went. “You’re okay. I see you.”

burnt out, emotionally exhausted angel lying on the couch face down with their hair a mess and still with one shoe on

david coming home from work, equally exhausted, scratches on his face, muscles sore

he kicks off his shoes, pulls off angel's, and collapses on the sofa next to them

they say literally nothing besides "fuck" "yeah me too"

david doordashes food by auto-clicking whatever they got last

angel gets it at the door (its guy) and is so delirious they tip him a whole twenty. they both stare at the bill. angel just pats guy on the cheek and closes the door

Anton and his honey sweet kisses that are always so addicting.

The way his voice seeps into you like a warm bath, melting the stress away from your body.

His soft touches, each one like he’s caressing the finest treasure.

His wolf fur, which feels like clouds and smells like the forest and the sun.

Anton’s warmth and the way he envelopes you in his arms like the sun’s rays on a cold day.

The way he gently wakes you up every morning with kisses and whispered words of love, making sure you start the day off with reminders of how much he loves you.

The way he makes you tea each morning, setting it on the bedside table so you have a moment to drink and relax, slowly waking up. All the while he’s cuddling you and nuzzling you, savouring the time you have together before you leave for your busy schedules.

The way he welcomes you home with open arms at the front door, letting you lean your weight onto him as he carries you into the living room for some well earned cuddles on the couch.

The way he somehow always knows what you’re craving and has it cooking on the stove already.

The way he mumbles as he tinkers away on his projects. His deep, soft voice is the perfect background noise to help you focus on your own work.

The way he’ll remind you to take breaks with a kiss, dragging you out for a walk at a nearby park or even whisking you away to the forest where you end up rolling around in the grass together, him in his wolf form.

The way he’ll wrap around you during winter, his fur working wonders to keep you both warm. It’s soft and smells like him - the perfect recipe for a nap.

Gavin loves simply making out with Freelancer. Cuddling with them on the couch or on any surface, and simply touching and kissing them, not escalating it any further. He loves worshipping every inch of their skin and showing them his love through his kisses. On the lips, neck, collarbone, etc.

Just soft kisses here and there, hands trailing up and down their body and listening to the cute noises they make when he kisses that sensitive spot.

He loves holding them and kissing them deep until their lips start to bruise (he’ll heal them right after) and their eyes haze from the bliss.

Enjoying that physical affection that doesn’t need to tip over into spicy territory, because they love him for more than what he brings in bed.

Sometimes, I think about how Darlin' comes home to Sam, skin still warm from the sun and when they embrace, Sam is reminded of the warmth of humanity. How warm his darlin' is. How warm the sun is. How he wished he appreciated the sun when it didnt hurt him then.

I think about how Darlin' stands in the sun to only come back inside to hold Sam, to remind them that they'll be there to warm him up when he misses humanity.

I think about Sam kissing the warm skin, Darlin' feeling the cold touch of his lips on their skin as they let him take every ounce of heat that they can give him. I think about how Sam holds them a little tighter when they're warm.

Angel who’s recovering from an injury and David who secretly finds joy in being able to dote on them with minimal protest and seeing them have a chance to rest, if only against their will

Making them dinner, rolling his eyes when they drag a couch cushion to the kitchen floor and curl up there so they don’t lose their mind to boredom

Filling up the bath for them every night, kneeling beside it and helping them wash their hair, humming softly the whole time

Curling up beside them in bed, watching them play Pokopia and listening to them ramble about what their Pokémon are doing, half asleep but still engaged in their interests

Going for short walks together in the evenings after dinner at a slower pace than normal, laughing when they complain about being restless and wanting to stay out longer

Coming home after work and finding them curled up on the couch in another one of his sweatshirts, waking them up with kisses and settling in next to them to gently massage their injured area
