Mostly vague illusions to 1920’s Milo, but he’s so inaccurate it might as well jus be his reg ehehe

Tried a more realistic approach to his face, I think some of the facial placements are a lil strange hhhhhhhhhh/lh — ALSO IK I MISSPELLED INVESTIGATOR HUSHHH IM EMBARRASSED HHSNSNSN

David who’s always expected to know what to say and Angel who’s always being told they talk too much

Asher who’s never taken seriously and babe whose jokes get spoken over

Milo who grew up needing protecting from a cop and Sweetheart who grew up dreaming of protecting people as one

Sam who was never taken to a playground and Darlin who grew up in them

I offer to you : the wolves recovering from anesthesia.

Asher: not surprisingly, he is a blabbermouth. Won't stay still, waving his lanky limbs all over. He's such a danger to himself that Babe has to call in reinforcements a.k.a David and Darlin' to watch him while they go to pick up supplies. Ash takes this opportunity to spill every single piece of gossip he knows, though he's not on his a-game as he jokes about David to David himself who retaliates by making a video of him to show at his next birthday party.

David : the anesthesia turns him into a sap. He is looking at Angel from the passenger seat on the drive home getting all misty eyed which freaks Angel out. He asks Angel to please grab his phone and starts a note in the app talking about how grateful he is for everyone in his life. At home, he insists on using his mate as a weighted blanket which leaves Angel unable to get up for several hours and having to resort to Milo and Sweetheart for supplies and food, they stop by later with their son in tow. Turns out dopey David is a BIG fan of Aggro, who turns out is a big fan of doped David.

Milo : acted all tough until he was about to be put under, at that point he started squeezing Sweetheart's hand really hard and playing with their ring (his is on a chain around their neck until he can wear it again). Sweetheart reassured him time and time again, they were going to be there when he woke up. When he wakes up, he feels too energized and it takes Sweetheart, Marie and Sam to get him to lay back down.

Darlin' : First of all they are pissed Sam made them go. Then they are on meds and they become the most sentimental person ever. They are clinging onto Sam as if he were to vanish into thin air if he wasn't holding them. They grab his face to make him look at them and they go "You just don't understand how much I love you, it freaks me out". They take the opportunity to have a heart to heart with Babe and Milo to tell them how valuable they are and how much they appreciate having both as friends. When David offers to drive, they give him the biggest hug ever and David is lowkey starting to wonder if they're dying. (They're fine)

Hello… so it’s been a long time. How are you guys doing? I brought you an apology gift 🎁 to make up for the fact I disappeared off the face of the earth for two years… life and stuff you know

So I made you a puppy, I hope you like him. I know people were asking for him a lot back then so hopefully you still enjoy him two years later. I’m happy with how he turned out, considering I couldn’t nail his design for the longest time.

Edit: also his height should be saying 5.7 foot. I just suck at freedom units. I think 5.6 might even be better actually

Small life update for people that care, if not just skip:

So in the last two years I got caught up with my final year and university, and my graduate collection and dissertation and a really big competition (which I am happy to say I won 😌😝). Then after graduation I had a horrible time finding a new apartment (screw the London rental market) and then I started a three months internship which turned into a 7 months internship and ended beginning of April and now I’m job hunting (not fun, do not recommend) and thus between staring at listing for junior positions that ask for 3 years of experience and “unpaid opportunities” I had the time to actually sit down and draw something and re-listen some of the older audios, so here we are. So yeah, in summary, I am alive.

I like how all the mates cant be still whenever they get sick, they have to be doing something all while David, Milo, and Asher are trying everything they can to coax them back into bed or take a break.

Meanwhile Sam is silently panicking because he can't tell if Darlin is even alive under the thousands of blankets they've hidden under while on the couch or bed.

Also feel like Darlin are one of those people with mood swings whenever they sick except it occur at the most inconvenient of times. Sam be trying to make soup, tea and prepares their medicine meanwhile Darlin is tugging on his shirt while they lean on him whining about coming back to bed and snuggling with them.

To trying to wiggle further under neath their mountains of blankets, whining about how they're fine and to leave them alone. Whenever Sam tries to get them to take their medicine or check their temp, trying to coax them with cuddles while the nap on the couch for the 20th time today.

Doesn't work for a while that is till Sam is out on the couch trying to work or find some kind of other job (does he have his realtor job still?) Only for Darlin to end up flopping into his lap asking for cuddles and pets which he happily complies as he puts his laptop away onto the coffee table.

Sweetheart fades in and out during a summer solstice. Their powers are out of control and don’t listen to them, so sometimes, without realising, they’ll become invisible for a few seconds before going back to normal.

Milo hates it. He knows just how much pride Sweetheart has in the masterful control they have of their stealth magic. He’s seen it first hand. He’s heard of the risky jobs they had to go through but carried out perfectly with their skill and finesse.

But here they were, fading in his arms. He can physically feel them still there, but every now and then it looks like he’s holding air.

The disappointment they have in themself shows on their face every time they return to normal, and it breaks his heart.

It’s hard to be confident in the abilities you spent years mastering to lose it all in one day. (Although they both know they’ll be back to normal tomorrow, it doesn’t undo the negative experience today.)

On these days Milo holds them as much as possible so that he can be there to keep them together if they fall apart. Quick trips to the kitchen are done hand in hand. Naps on the couch are done in each other’s arms. Every time Sweetheart fades, he calms them with his arms around their body, hands stroking their back as he reassures them that he’s here, that they’re still the amazing stealth they are, that what’s happening today doesn’t change anything about them, even if it doesn’t feel that way. Sweetheart seems full of confidence on the surface, but they’re much softer than many expect them to be on the inside.

Milo knows.

“I see you, baby.” He whispers in their ear as the waves came and went. “You’re okay. I see you.”
