Sighting of a Black slug, 'Arion ater'

During our walk from yesterday evening.

So, I baked that carrot cake with applesauce.

It's one part whole wheat flour and 2 parts white flour.

The frosting is plain greek yogurt with cream cheese. (Next time, I think I will try with a flavoured greek yogourt.)

Overall it's really good with a perfect moist texture, no difference in taste!

Cut up some cortland apples and cooked them into applesauce. I am going to try for the first time to substitute butter for applesauce in a cake recipe (carrot cake).

Balcony garden - july 2022 Blooming cosmos I sowed mid may. Baby cucumbers growing from a pot : we will see how big they can get without any fertilizer.
