10 REASONS WHY I LOVE KPOP
1. It is ADDICTING 2. The CHOREOGRAPHY/DANCE is sick 3. Not to mention, the VOCALS are exceptional 4. They can SING and DANCE live as if you were listening to the CD version or perhaps watching the MV 5. They spent tons for filming their MV 6. FASHION is on point 7. Talk about their HAIRSTYLES and HAIR COLOR 8. KOREAN language fits in any kind of genre 9. Did I mention it is highly addicting or CATCHY 10. They're really TALENTED
how can you not love themĀ
āSplash Splash Loveā Review
This 2-episode drama just topped off my kdrama list! For me, 2 episode is just right, not too short and not too long for a short plot like this. I really enjoyed it since I easily get bored in some parts in a 16-20 episode drama. I mean there must be a point wherein youāre just waiting for another exciting scene to happen. Once I could predict how the other scenes would come out and how the drama would end, I would just finish the drama for the sake of finishing it and comparing how I though it would turn out.. But Splash Splash Love just exceeded my expectations! Not to mention the awesome casts :ā> well since Iām a big fan of BEAST and also a Doojoon bias, him being the lead actor caught my attention watching this tbh XD But I also like KIm Seulgi!! I love her cheerful aura. I first saw her in Flower Boy Next Door and I just canāt get my mind off her character there lol. Even though the set was a little bit off (Iām referring to some CG effects background) I didnāt really mind, I guess I was too focus with the actors haha. The plot is quite common I must say, reminded me of Rooftop Prince (one of my faves too!) but itās the opposite since the Kim Seulgi went to the past (Joseon era) while Yoochun went to the present. I really love the humor of the time/technological/language differences. I have to mention that I just kept squealing and cringing while watching Doojoon and Seulgi <3 my heart kept fluttering especially in episode 2 lol. I definitely ship them! Theyāre just 2 years apart (real age)! I hope to see them together in a longer drama someday haha their chemistry is on point <3 the amount of drama is also just right, when Seulgi was saying goodbye to everyone in Joseon and the part where she was missing her mom so bad (got me really teared up) BEST KDRAMA AND YOU SHOULD WATCH IT IF YOU HAVENT ;)
Ji Sung Joon from She Was Pretty ā¤ā¤ā¤ I really really love this kdrama! Definitely one of the best!
Kpop Appreciation Post
I started listening to kpop when I was in my first year of high school (around 2009). Up until now, I still canāt stop listening and anticipating every kpop releases that I follow. Thereās just something about it that kept me looking forward for years.
During my elementary days, I really hated kpop. Whenever I see it on tv or just randomly hear kpop songs on radio or cafes or malls, I always have this bad impression towards them (which I donāt know why, maybe because of the stereotypes about them). Back then, my genre was pop - American pop music to be specific, although I still listen to them right now. The songs that I listened to were mainly by singers, Miley Cyrus (yes, Iām a big Hannnah Montana fan), Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Jesse McCartney, Maroon5, Beyonce, etc.Ā
Things changed during high school. I guess what got me to look into kpop was when my friends were spazzing about a certain boy group which I had no idea about. Peer pressure? Yeah maybe, but I was also just so curious. I think that was Sorry Sorry era of Super Junior or maybe their mandarin song Super Girl? Oh and my cousin also introduced me to Gee by SNSD and I always heard that song since we were neighbors.. lol. So yeah I got addicted to those songs and from then on, I checked out their following releases and also checked out different kpop artists/singers.
I personally think that kpop is underrated in general. Well, I have to admit not all kpop is very exceptional, just like a-pop (American pop for short). But thereās just something about kpop.. the catching melody? lyrics? hmm. Most kpop songs have a very addicting melody/tune wherein they repeat the same words all over again lol. But yeah I noticed that. But I also love how the lyrics are written. They are very straightforward in a way that itās not awkward for a song. Did I explain that correctly? Haha itās just that the lyrics are so sweet and not the just all about love and sex that you see/hear in an a-pop music videos/songs that I grew tired of, to be honest.Ā
I just hope that kpop would be aĀ ānormā for all. I mean it is evident that people judge you when they knew that you like or enjoy kpop. And I just want that stereotype to disappear. We all have different tastes in everything, and we should respect that.
I also want to write about kdramas, but Iāll save that for a different post. So thatās it. I hope I made a point haha. Sorry if my thoughts arenāt organized, my first time writing a long post lol. So what do you think about kpop?Ā
Ok Iām done reposting. That was all lol I thought it was going to be a lot XD Time to make some new posts :D
CLassmate: Do you listen to music?
Me: Of course! Who doesn't!
Classmate: What songs are on your playlist now? I kinda need some new songs.
Me: uhmm *in a mild state of panic*
*says whatever I hear on the radio*
(when will people stop judging kpop)
I love this song so much ā¤ļø brings back a lot of memories š
P.S. His songs/cover songs are soooo good! Check them out!
3rd Degree --- "not your average boy band" indeed
So I recently came across this boy band 3rd Degree
Billionaire (Acoustic Cover) - 3rd Degree: http://youtu.be/l0x-FJymxnE
And they were just awesome! Covering songs, composing their own songs and making remixes with their own styles, I really loved it! Memebers are Brian Kang, Terry He and Don Lee. Their unique voices blend well with each other. But sadly, they parted ways and currently doing their own things. I really hope theyāll come back anytime soon with another awesome cover/song.

Seriously one of the best kdramas out there! Got me hanging til the end. Usually I get bored in the middle or towards the end of kdramas, but not this one. The plot is pretty much unpredictable, events happen so fast that keeps you hooked up, and of course the actors were awesome.
We all think about the top and struggle all our lives, but if we turn to the sides a little bit, there are a bunch of flowers and they smell so sweet.
