You know what I haven’t seen ANYONE talking about which I find kind of wild? The fact Eleven wore Hoppers blue bracelet he got from his daughter the entirety of Season 3.

People noticed that right?! They highlighted it almost every scene!

the best part about friends is that it had the most iconic twist in romance ever like in the beginning seasons they really played us with the ross/rachel dynamic and how they were the absolute “it” couple of the show and that everyone will want to root for them to get together and then all the sudden???? chandler and monica literally come out of nowhere in a span of three episodes?? but the best part is,,,,,,,they actually have a great dynamic?? like they had a great dynamic as friends but as a couple,,,,,they brought out the absolute best in each other??? And they grew slowly and worked through both of their insecurities and became an even stronger couple?? and then the writers tried to bring back rachel/ross again and it just,,,,,,didn’t compare because chandler and monica had surpassed their trash dynamic by 1000x at that point. anyway, god bless chandler and monica

So this episode confused the life out of me. Was jughead in on the plan or was that just a fancy way to show Archie getting out of jail? Like how did this all connect to his g&g game...? My head hurts.

I actually didn’t totally get it until I watched it a second time.

Jughead’s goal is to get into the Gargoyle Kings head. He believes that Riverdale is one big G&G board game. Betty waves this off, and although he is losing grip with reality, he’s actually right.

He wanted to get into the King’s head, and now he has. The quest he made up for the Serpents to play was identical to the one that was happening in real life. So his game as Game Master, matched the game the GK planned as Game Master of the BIGGER game.

So when the Serpents ask “Did we do it? Did we free him?” Jughead is essentially waiting to see if Archie is free. Waiting to see if he’s right, if he’s really cracked the GK’s methods to madness.

Does that make more sense?

This G&G storyline seems more thought-out than the whole season 2. Lol
