So guys, I have decided to leave Tumblr. I don't find any enjoyment on this app anymore. I miss the old Ron community here where we used to write meta about Ron using book quotes, lines. And ofcourse Romione. I miss old Tumblr. It's not same anymore..

I don't come here to get hateful vitriol filled asks about my opinions which I always tag appropriately and I am not bound to answer anyone why I 'hate' or 'love' anyone or any ship. So I actually decided to leave this app. I will delete this Blog soon.

I know I posted lots of romione content over the years and you will lose them forever but this app doesn't interest me anymore. oh man. I will certainly miss those meta analysis. But it's time to move on. I have decided to delete this blog so that no one can use my posts and call them 'their own'

depois da guerra, ron jamais imaginou que pisaria em hogwarts outra vez sem um uniforme da grifinória nas costas. mas quando mcgonagall o convidou para integrar o conselho escolar como representante do ministério da magia e auxiliar no reforço da segurança do castelo, a proposta pareceu estranhamente difícil de recusar. parte porque confiava nela cegamente. parte porque o ministério sabia muito bem que poucas pessoas conheciam aqueles corredores tão bem quanto alguém que passara 10 anos entrando justamente onde não devia. mas no fim, quem convenceu ron de ir foi hermione, marido devotado, ele ficou com receio de deixá-la sozinha, mesmo que a mulher soubesse se virar de um jeito que ele provavelmente nunca conseguiria sozinho, ainda fazia parte de sua natureza se preocupar, mas então, foi apenas após ela mesma sugerir que seria uma boa ideia e garantir que ele era a pessoa certa pro papel, que acabou acabou aceitando. entre revisões de protocolos de segurança, inspeções pelo castelo e reuniões que jurava serem mais longas do que qualquer aula de história da magia, ron acabou descobrindo que voltar para hogwarts não era tão estranho quanto imaginava. na verdade, depois dos primeiros dias… parecia um pouco como voltar para uma segunda casa, com o bônus de conseguir ficar perto de rose e hugo.

quando mcgonagall sugeriu que assumisse o clube de xadrez, ron riu. depois perguntou se ela tinha certeza. depois perguntou de novo. por fim, aceitou. surpreendentemente, descobriu que gostava de ensinar. não da parte de explicar regras, porque partia do princípio de que qualquer pessoa podia aprender aquilo em cinco minutos, mas da estratégia. gostava de ver os alunos começando a enxergar vários movimentos à frente, aprendendo que quase nunca a melhor jogada era a mais óbvia e que, às vezes, sacrificar uma peça era justamente o que fazia alguém vencer a partida. era curioso perceber que, sem querer, acabava ensinando muito mais do que xadrez.

não demorou muito para que mcgonagall também lhe entregasse a coordenação do clube de duelo. ron recusou três vezes antes de aceitar, alegando que harry claramente era a pessoa mais qualificada para aquilo. a resposta da diretora foi simples: harry ensinaria defesa contra as artes das trevas. ron ensinaria estratégia. e ela estava certa. em pouco tempo os alunos descobriram que as aulas dificilmente começavam com varinhas erguidas. normalmente começavam com uma pergunta. "qual foi o primeiro erro?" porque, para ronald weasley, vencer uma batalha nunca teve a ver apenas com magia. tinha a ver com observar, pensar, improvisar e, principalmente, proteger quem estava ao seu lado. no fim das contas, era exatamente isso que ele fazia desde os onze anos.

Harry stan here, the love potion theory was started by Harmony shippers (they’re insufferable) cuz Harry stans I've noticed over the years tend to love Ginny more, fuelled by Hinny artists. The rest were way back in the past like around 2018-19. The current Harry centric part of the fandom is quite in the minority honestly but they are healthy, very mature and respectful. Especially towards Ron. I follow around 200 hjp blogs all of them are positive towards Ron, so dw we love our favorite boy's favorite boy in this household 🫶

As for Hermione stans, yeah they tear apart both the boys. I know it can be irritating and it gets stuck in your head, but don't give their opinions much validation. Let them ebb away. What I do is block block block and block. Left and right. Who cares ? Keep your own little community healthy. The more you'll try to argue with them tne more they bark. Its pointless, I've learned that the hard way.

And if you can then open an account on X. Ron and Harry both are getting a lot of positivity there recently !

The new show haters are so mean 😭 like if you don't like don't watch! Also i dislike how they go after real people for fictional characters especially the Snape actor who got death threats. The actors are just doing their jobs for God's sake! If they like Alan Rickman so much, then watch the movies! They are not going anywhere. Another thing I noticed is that out of the trio, the actors of Harry and Hermione are getting most hate but most people seem to like new Ron which is a good sign for Ron fans. I am not saying any kid should be hated - its gross to hate children - but even though Ron's casting is also not 1:1 book accurate [I am sure Alastairs will do well but he does not have book Ron's blue eyes] but I see the most hatred directed towards Harry, Hermione and even Draco's looks. Arabella's haters are mostly racist because of her tan skin color but Dominic and Lox haters are bizarre, especially Dominic's, who they say looks like a Lesbian or a Non Binary or idk... Like What?! Commenting on a child's looks as adults is horrible! Nostalgia is one thing but some people really need to touch grass.

And what absolutely enrages me when they hide their racism with thinly veiled excuse 'it changes Snape's whole story'

The same people threw tantrums over Susan bones because she isn't white when she is just a name in books. They are also being racist to Indians now because Draco's actor is seen with mostly dark skinned boys in one of pics.

And the burnt of this racism Arabella gets. Men who wanted to goon to a white child are upset. Women who want to self insert as her in fanfics are upset. People who can't imagine anyone else but Watson are upset. She is getting flak from everywhere.

Dominic is getting ridiculous hate. Because of his features. Like that's a freaking 11 yo kid. How inhumane people are?? Lox is also getting hate because of his looks. Part of it because they are obsessed with Felton and can't accept anyone else. Another part is hating because they expected some big bad alpha 11 yo. Which he isn't. So they are disappointed.

I am glad Alastair is getting positive response. Even in a sea of negativity he is the only bright spot.

Let's get this straight once and for all. You are allowed to make your own decisions, and form your own opinions, and you're absolutely allowed to hold the adults involved in the HBO Harry Potter series accountable for their willing participation. I won't be watching it on any platform that funds jkr directly, if I am tempted I will be pirating it. But that's on me, I don't have the agency to regulate what other people should be doing, though I will add that if you can, please pirate it.

With that being said, I'm noticing a tremendous amount of online hatred, bullying and backlash towards the children of the cast. The actor for Harry, 12 year old Dominic Mclaughlin, is being trolled for "looking like a lesbian". "Why did they cast a girl as Harry ?" "Add some blue hair and piercings and the look is complete" these are three out of the thousands disrespectful comments this child is receiving. Arabella Stanton, who is playing Hermione Granger, is facing equal hatred, mostly racist, for being brown and "too masculine". People have started mocking her as a true "mud blood". Lox Pratt, the new actor for Draco Malfoy is also facing intense trolling because apparently he looks like a girl as well.

Genuinely what the fuck is wrong with people ? Each of these posts and comments have thousands of likes and shares. Its disheartening too see people shamelessly hating on children. THEY ARE CHILDREN. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LEAVE THEM ALONE.

Do not take out your resentment towards jkr on the kids. Let them live.

People who are hating kids aren't the JKR haters. They are movie fans and can't accept anything else other than movies. They are being trolls and abusive because of nostalgia.

Not going to let this ruin my excitement but if I see one more person mention the movies or the movie cast I might start to loose it.

Harry Potter is not the movies and the movie cast are not the characters themselves. This show is not a reboot it’s an adaptation of the books. Let it go. Deal with it. Let this show be different than the movies. Let this show be its own unique new thing. Including the music. I see so many people talking about Hedwig’s theme as well LET IT GO PLEASE. Allow for the new music and theme to come through. Allow for this new and improved version of an adaptation of the books to shine. The movies aren’t the only thing anymore and frankly no offense to the movies they were great for what they were and we all lived through them for a long time but it’s time to get over it please.
