If I'm brave enough to put my ugly unmadeup face on instagram because I feel this is dire to get out, then y'all need to listen. As I meticulously craft my secret project for @kansascitycomiccon (THIS WEEKEND Y'ALL) I want to take a moment to talk about cosplay safety and how IMPORTANT it is! A ton of things that we use for cosplay is toxic. Did you know heating foam is even toxic??? Did you know contact cement literally has a warning for cancer? That's why its so important you protect yourself so you can keep healthy for years to come! That means wearing eye protection, face masks, gloves, using cutting mats, keeping fans going and using well ventilated areas. Do you know what is also amazing? Almost all of these items are available at @dollartree!! You can literally take five dollars and go get yourself set up for lots of safe crafting days.
