This is the domain of an honoured and honourable snake princess, hence the name of the blog. I've decided to make a new pinned post for 2026.

I would consider myself a marxist and a student of history, albeit one with no particular focus.

I am in my twenties and that is all you need know until I am in my thirties. Upon advice from a colleague, I will roll a die at some arbitrarily-decided point in the span of years around that point so that you won't know exactly when it is.

I'm fond of Ave Mujica, Pokemon, TTRPGs, loudly critiquing TTRPGs, and a little bit of science fiction. Most of all, I am a big fan of Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

I also like vampires and large snakes. Go figure.

People in English are too ignorant of the distinction between "you" and "thou", and often get them confused, because they associate "thou" with high culture and religion and so erroneously assume it is the formal and polite choice. It is not. We default to you because that is the formal and polite choice. If you address someone you are not close friends or family with as "thou", you are picking a fight.

Go reread some Shakespeare, it's obvious once you know to look for it.
