Bruno Mars & Chanel Malvar 2015 Drama!
So by now we all know that Chanel Malvar is Bruno Mars ex girlfriend and has been for a long time (discussion of their break up will be posted soon) so by now most of us would have thought they both would have let their past problems go, and move on with their lives right? Well, it's clear from the screenshots above that the bad blood is still boiling. Even though Chanel didn't mention any names its pretty clear who the posts are about.
Chanel has been working on the Ellen Show for a while now and was scheduled to make an appearance on the same show that Bruno was scheduled to perform on. It seems as if at last minute the rug was pulled from under her feet and she was no longer asked to air. It's clear from what Chanel posted that Bruno had something to do with her being pulled from the show and she seems very upset about it.
My Opinion: I think that this is a new low for Bruno, I'm still a fan of him and I'm still a hooligan. I will always support him and his craft, but what the hell was he thinking? I saw this show as a chance for them to burn bridges in a positive way and show they are over their past and have grown and matured as two adults. Obviously, one of them is way more mature than the other.
To take money out of someone's pocket just because they're your ex and you don't want them in your presence is absurd. I can totally picture him complaining to producers and Ellen about not wanting her there and probably threatening to pull out of the show if she was on it.
This woman is thriving for a career and is making her own living. (unlike other people that shall remain nameless) Why try to take that shine away from her? Maybe he was negatively influenced by one of the negative forces in his life or maybe he is just extremely petty, the world may never know.
In conclusion I applaud Chanel for not stepping out of character and handling the situation with grace, poise, and a splash of sass. I wish her nothing but the best for the future.
As for Bruno it's clear that he has some maturing to do, he's human and imperfect so let's not hold it against him, but I would hope as a man he tries to do better for himself in 2015 because his actions are a reflection of himself and his career.
