Self Love & Protection Recipe
Apples are associated with love, fidelity, fertility, marriage, beauty, vanity, wisdom, the soul, the afterlife and immortality. They are an evocative symbol of Christianity but also serve many other purposes to secular and Pagan witches.
Cinnamon and cinnamon oil can be used in love and protection spells.
This simple, delicious recipe can be made quickly and used to top oatmeal, fill small pies, or it can just be eaten plain!
- ½ cup butter - ½ cup sugar - 4 apples, sliced and cored (peel if preferred) - 2 tbs. ground cinnamon
Combine all ingredients except apples in a large saucepan or pot. Stir clockwise to infuse the mixture with positive energy! While I stir, I like to say my intent out loud a few times (”I will love myself and I am safe!”). Once butter is melted, add apples and cook on medium 5-10 minutes or until apples are tender and soft,
