Moegi Myoga ( 妙夏 萌木 ) SHSL Local Idol ( 超高校級のローカルアイドル )

Have you ever dreamed of a vacation to a tropical paradise where you can laze about all day? Moegi Myoga, the self proclaimed ‘laziest’ local idol, is making to-be tourists scream, “YES!”. Since day one of her career Moegi has promoted her home island of Miyakojima in locally produced tourism commercials alongside her mother. While in all other situations this would remain a faded local memory, an unscripted interruption from young Moegi with her now famous catchphrase “cha-chyaaan~!” led to a memorable commercial that almost anyone in the country could quote for you. However, unlike many idols whose strong work ethic and dedication to their job grows their fame, Moegi has done the opposite. Giving up the strict typical life of an idol to make her own schedule… Which mainly caters to her two favorite things, naps and her personal computer, to the dismay of those waiting for her next album. Of course, she claims it is only due to the greatness of Miyakojima that even an idol can be this lax. But perhaps that could just be the symbiotic relationship between her and her island’s tourism economy speaking. However, while mainstream understanding of success may claim it is her natural good looks and consistent gimmick, or even pulling on nostalgia for her very first role, the truth is much stranger. Moegi’s consistent upkeep of her social media and personal BBS board, true ‘crew members’ believe it is Moegi’s eccentric personality keeping it all together. In droves they come to submit messages to her via a small form whose title explains it all, “Idol Lying Flat. Bored. Recommend me things to do, ok?”. Moegi eagerly awaits all messages from her ‘crew’. Whether she is openly discussing how she’s tried to play rhythm games with her feet, slav squatting in selfies, or just proclaiming “cha-chyaaan~!”, she remains steadfast on her quest to try all that her loyal crew recommends to her… So long as she doesn’t have to break a sweat.

I worked extra hard so that on this holiest of days (MARCH 15TH, HER BIRTHDAY) she could be known. o/
