He knows for a fact he can't lie so all he can do is tell half truths. He can keep a secret so well but a little slip up isn't beyond him :)

Now has to come up with an excuse for dadan to help him cuz she's probably the only one who knows how to "magically turn his hair yellow" in Luffy's words.

(I made ace look more like his original greasy self)
