let this be your sign to make your life just a little more livable. get a dollar store trash can for your bedside so Cup City’s invasion plans fall through. block a tag or post that makes you grind your teeth every time you see it. get some grip pads so your bed stops sliding across the hardwood a little bit every time you get in it. tell that person you need a little more support. if you get annoyed at a situation more than a couple times, change it. don’t be content with being miserable.

Normally I'd put this on my main but this sort of thing captivates me too much as an artist to not show it here.

Some time last year I developed a Nine Inch Nails hyperfixation and went down the rabbit hole of all the halos, listening to all the discography I could possibly find and currently I'm in the middle of collecting all the halos (which is a very long and expensive process I am finding!!!).

One that stood out to me especially was Not The Actual Events, which was released around 10 years ago. There was a digital release that came with something referred to as a physical component (of which there were a limited number of). This was a black envelope that contained various lyrics cards & photos of Trent and Atticus (different envelopes have different ones, there are I think 3 different variations), and some graphite powder. The envelope also has some of the powder on it. I would like to note that graphite powder is highly conductive. Opening this around electronics is a bad move and may result in ruining them, hence the warning sticker on the front of the envelope.

I managed to find one of the physical components sealed, and I just received it today. Opened it up because I wanted to have this experience, I needed to have it. Yes it is very messy, your hands get easily stained by the powder. I'm very happy to have this in my possession and to have been the first to open it. I need to get the CD for NTAE some time since it has my favorite track on it (Burning Bright) but that will be later.
