Every time a website forces me to use an app I just close out of the site. You have a lot of nerve asking me to let you in like some sort of vampire

RPG enemy that poisons you mid-fight and stops to offer you the only antidote for an exorbitant amount of money. Declining means you have to kill them for it or die in 3 turns

Stuff like berserk/rage status effects and moves in games have always fascinated me because of how subtly terrifying they are. Imagine something redirecting your hand onto itself on purpose while others can attack your exposed sides. You can't defend yourself or run because you can't stop. You can't heal yourself because every move you have you dedicate towards making sure something that's enraged you is down and down for good. And maybe it knows this. I want RPGs that mess with what status effects can be like psychologically more...

Is there a pokemon creepypasta where the player can't stop getting a specific pokemon encounter and they keep killing it til it shows up with a bugged 0hp health bar and any status effects they give it stay even when they flee and encounter it again. I don't know much about spooky pokemon but it sounds like the perfect avenue for that kind of thing

Something that you're forced to keep attacking over and over always is scarier to me than something thats actively chasing you in a game. Something that you've burned and poisoned and paralyzed that just keeps showing up because things here don't die and even though the sprite hasn't changed at all you feel a sense of dread when you see that everything you've done to it has persisted and compounded
