Feel like on the aro aspect either he accepts it but he just becomes a very overprotective friend or uses manipulation shenanigans (feel like that would make ruin his character a bit no?)
Also thinking of sunshine whose just not interested on dating rn so manipulation shenanigans would DEF fit lot better here but i wanna see that man STRUGGLE here and I mean shoot his shot from every angle and STILL miss

Tbh itās kinda funny I have knowledge on this because in college I was sitting next to the Asexual corner (THEY NAMED THEMSELVES THAT. I HAD NO PART IN IT!!!) but hearing their experiences was very interesting!
Though it is funny because I imagine an MC who just, isnāt interested romantically either:
A: is so friendly and not noticing that Jackās gestures are romantic
B: Is acutely aware and just curveballing him upfront
With like the first category I feel like Jackās romantic gestures the Mc reads as friendship.
āWow he cleaned my kitchen and fed me food, he must really like helping me out!ā
I feel like this came from the fact that (and I mean Iām moreso looking at the beginning of the game) the Mc is kinda enduring a depressive episode and Jackās helping them out of their funkā¦and it just so happens when you say āIām your best friend!ā So many times one can assume youāre gonna stick to that promise! Jack kinda shot himself in the foot here with that and he realizes it a little too late.

Because Iām sure romantic or not as long as his Sunshine is HISā¦heās alright with just being the number 1 in other ways.

Heās going to be the primary candidate for consolation, trust, and anything that concerns a second opinion and once the MC leans on him completely itās a win win!!
I feel like queer platonic partner is a title he would take in stride tbhā¦I feel like thatās the angle heād go forā¦unless the MC is more interested (since asexuality is quite the spectrum) so like, even if the mc was just Demisexual or more specific types I think heād be able to adapt to it. Heās waited eons in the tape, he can wait a little longer to make a solid connection before the MC feels comfortable with initiating anything.
Granted if there is a case where like in the No/No route where it comes from hesitation or just lack of romantic interestā¦Jackās gonna have to really put in some elbow grease on that manipulation aspectā¦and also driving away other people. Using Ian as a pawn to drive fear of having to confront old discarded love (which tbh heād think the MC is just so traumatized from Ian that thatās why they donāt accept love anymore and that they need him to heal that wound.)
I think the end, love or no love, ya canāt escape the clownā¦you WILL be stuck with him if he can do anything about it!!!
(tbh the idea of a yandere who doesnāt win is lowkey kinda a fun idea btwā)
