Hey guys, how are you this fine month? Hopefully you're all doing well.

The family and I are a bit strapped for cash and we trade around when need be in order to get bills paid or to pay someone else. And of course I'm still unemployed unfortunately, though I am attending a program for folks with disabilities like myself so that I can be able to function in a work environment with things like my autism and anxiety.

I'm still in the middle of searching for something appropriate for me. I haven't worked since 2024 and honestly I miss it. The hiring process is harder and more tedious than the work.

So, for me, please give me some work!

Lol, this is actually May's nickname to Ian, don't know if I relayed that to you guys. Though it's because he has brown hair, big eyes, and "spots" like him.

Feels surprising to hear the nickname used in something else but it almost doesn't surprise me.

Sometime in 2023 when I was stagnating in May's development and figuring out her story, I used a self-insert to try and immerse myself in the world and story of Sunny Day Jack more. I didn't wanna use my real name so I dubbed her "Cloudy" which felt like a fitting contrast to the nickname "Sunshine".

I also gave her white braids to distinguish her from my black ones I was wearing at the time. Those are also for her namesake.

After developing her further I gave her a name and more traits that deviated from how I looked (dimples, dimple piercings, lanky body, darker skin) so she could feel like her own character.

Eventually, "self-insert" status went to Puddin'.

There are two, actually! May-Rose Carter and Jamie Camden or better known by her alias, "Cloudy".

Though technically, May is the first of them and yes, the main OC, since I'm more inclined to draw her because of appealing design and her story is more character driven than Cloudy's that has more to do with the visual novel's underlying plot.
