Hello and welcome to my AU dumping grounds! This is a place for rambling, asking, answering, and, of course, dumping content. The purpose of this blog is both for me to organize everything I have on these separate from my main blog and also so people can have a place to specifically ask about my AUs. If you want to ask on my main, still feel free, but I’ll probably reblog it here if it has important information for organizational purposes.

Yep. Turbo’s left arm up to his shoulder and KO’s right arm up to his elbow. I don’t think I had too many specifics yet, but there was an explosion and Turbo tried to shield KO from it, so he got the brunt of the damage.

Thanks!! I’ve had the basics of their designs for a while, but I never got to finishing the sketch sheet.

(Fun fact! Their designs were supposed to be the first thing I posted here but I completely lost motivation for the AU. Still kind of don’t have any but I had enough to draw that I guess.)

whats the alien au about?

The Alien AU is a (very small) AU that I haven’t actually developed much, so there’s not too much detail to go into. I also don’t remember some of it, so this’ll be interesting to try to out together again. *sweats*

KO is half alien, half human (Professor Venomous was some kind of shape-shifting alien I think?) and he lives in POINT’s space station with his mom (yes this was made directly after my Among Us AU). He hides that he’s half alien by wearing a spacesuit most of the time, even though pretty much everyone with power already knows about it and hasn’t done anything. (I’m 90% sure there’s not actually any prejudice against aliens or half aliens or anything, especially since Greyman is definitely an alien and Foxtail is probably half alien herself, Carol’s just scared something’s going to happen because it’s obvious there was something was going on with Laserblast and that might be taken out on him if they see he’s half alien?? Idk I was not kidding about this being underdeveloped.) The only times he’s out of it is when he’s in private, so he has to do things like eating and sleeping without anyone other than Carol in the room, and he’s not around people a lot anyway because he’s nervous someone’s going to find out.

At some point, an accident happens where he gets stranded on a planet away from POINT’s base. Rad and Enid, both aliens, find him and assume he’s human because he’s wearing the spacesuit and that means he needs oxygen, and KO doesn’t correct them. The plot resumes similarly to canon from here, just...in space. Around the time TKO happens in canon (or maybe a bit later) KO’s spacesuit gets damaged in an attack, everyone panics, and KO ditches the spacesuit.

I’m assuming someone finds him at some point and POINT gets involved, but I really haven’t gotten that far srjljsslsdjls

that's a good explanation! paradise sounds really cool! maybe if the others came to paradise just to see how it was chill maybe then they'd get it? eh... might take a while though.

:DD I’m glad you like the concept! I dunno if them going to Paradise will help them understand too much (since it’s not really the place or the people that they’re bothered by as much as it is them being scared of what T.K.O. will do) and I dunno if the people who live in Paradise would want them to be there anyway, but they will probably try to follow him there at some point, so! That will be a thing. It probably won’t end well.

could you explain neo riot city ko to us? like... why he is at the city?

Yes! Yes. I can. (Though I have to apologize if this is a little messy, I’m exhausted and I’ve been putting this off for three days and I don’t want to put it off any more. Hopefully it’ll make sense.)

First things first: this is post-canon. Canon divergent. So. He hasn’t lived in Neo Riot City his whole life or anything. He also doesn’t live there all the time, but I’ll get into that.

The main catalyst for the divergence of this AU is KO leaning more into TKO’s personality and motivations/methods more. So not as heroic things. Which is a problem when you live with a bunch of heroes with very heroic ideals who know where these changes are coming from, have had bad experiences with the source in the past, and are terrified of it. Understandably. But it’s not communicated very well why they are uncomfortable with the situation, and he takes it less as them being scared of what he did as TKO and more as them denying a part of him he’s trying to express (which, to be fair, they are). Considering that everything that happened with TKO happened because he was denying this part of himself (very ironic now that I’m thinking about it) and he doesn’t want all of that to happen again any more than they do, he runs away to Neo Riot City.

He stays there for a few days just wandering around before he finds a secluded section of the city, dubbed “Paradise.” This place acts as a safe haven for people—mainly children who have one hero and one villain parent—to be able to express themselves and break out of the mold of being either a hero, a villain, or level zero. What exactly happens when he’s here has been pretty inconsistent when I’ve developed it, so let’s just say he talks to people and explores the city and acts as an anti-hero. Stuff like that. He stays there for a few weeks and goes back home to see if they’re going to accept that part of him, then goes back when it becomes obvious that they haven’t yet. Rinse and repeat.

That’s the gist.

can we learn some of his stances? how are things in Neo Riot City?

I don’t really know how to get too far into his stances without explaining the whole au (which I will do dshldlsnlaksml sorry this might be kind of confusing) but he’s very much for freedom of self-expression and how being a villain or hero or something else doesn’t define you. A lot of “you should be allowed to be who you want to be and not forced to change the way you act because everyone wants you to be something.”

Things in Neo Riot City are mostly fine. It’s just the setting at the moment. Maybe I’ll make something major be going on in it later.

does Combo Breaker get to be KOs rival in Neo Riot City? in that one ACTION NEWS game where you play as Dynamite Watkins, 3 characters appear in Neo Riot City, gossip girl Calypsa, tiny but fierce Lion Cat and the original rival Combo Breaker. interactions with those three could be neat!

Oh! I didn’t know about them! Based on the plot I have, I don’t know if it would make sense for them to be rivals (and he’d have to be a different person from canon Combo Breaker since this is post-canon) but I should look into that. I didn’t realize there were canon characters I could use for this.
