A clear image of a female figure appeared after few moments of bad connection, her light blue tail reflected light that seemed to come from every direction as she lay on her side on a light pink chaise.

Connected to ‘Project Screen Shots’ this piece was exhibited in ‘Mucho Grandi’ during ‘Reykjavik Culture Night’ in August.
Hanging high up on the hallway to the main exhibition space the light fabric displayed a double screenshot. The background photo is a bright blue sky partly covered with clouds. Internet browser, text document and few other applications are open on the screen.
While ‘Project Screen Shot’s’ aim is visit creative peoples screen and follow their work process this piece was more made around the work process itself. The open browsers show the research made for the piece, the text documents the idea flow etc. Like other screen shots in ‘Project Screen Shots’ this one also shows a portrait of the participant, this time via FaceTime.
Drawings exhibited in a drawing exhibition connected to Festisvall in Leipzig.
The drawings were made on their travel between Berlin and Leipzig. Uncontrolled, the lines where made by several different material moving in the box the paper was sent in.
Fascination of visual language in Neukölln’s Turkish community was the starting point for those works. The material is mostly taken from Windows of hair saloons, sisha- and sport bars.Mixed with over decorated imagery of commercials exposed in this different, male dominating world. Those works focus on a selection of details of this imagery. Where glamour and masculine icons go hand in hand.
