Minty flavors with chocolate are the best. Do you not like Thin Mints? And who would that be?
Oh no, no, no. Thin Mints and me do not go well together. My friend Anna. She's big on chocolate and even more of a fan with hot chocolate.

Okie doke. [she smiled and propped her head up on her elbow] So, what put you a hot chocolate mood?
[stirs the mix and hot in water in one coffee cup before adding a huge af amount of whipped cream] Uhm, I don't know exactly. It just felt nice to have instead of coffee. Sometimes my sweet tooth controls everything. Pretty sure that's the real reason why Jessie makes every dessert.

They make peppermint bark hot chocolate and it is amazing.
If I only liked minty flavors with my chocolate. It sounds refreshing, though. I do know someone who might like it, I'll be sure to ask her about it. Oh, thanks for the suggestion.
May I have some dark hot chocolate with whipped cream?
Why of course, little lady. The water is still hot so it'll just be a second.
Whipped cream along with dark chocolate hot chocolate is possibly the best hot chocolate.
Ah, I see. I don’t really watch house shows much, so that’s probably why I haven’t seen it yet. Ooh, that does sound like some sort of magic trick. Why’d you say they need to calm down, though?
[chuckles] It's nothing, Bonnie. Just about the houses -- you gotta see at least once episode.
Nice to finally meet you. Is there something I can help you with?
[Billy looked at her for a moment before taking a slight step back to where the door was. It was then he remembered about Anna not bringing her up when he met Elisabeth. Maybe things were different between them now but he didn't know that.]
I... I think I made a mistake by comin' in here.
“I’m just scared of crowds. I just think people require things of me whenever there’s a screaming crowd, and I always think I won’t be able to provide what they want, so that’s why I look scared all the time.”
Should I know the show?
It's about houses so yes 'cause house shows are the best. They're brothers and make fixer-uppers into the couple's dream house. It's pretty much a magic trick.
[Elisabeth tried to remember where she had seen this boy before. Then it dawned on her. This was the boy that was in the park with Anna that night.] Oh, it’s alright. You must be Billy, Anna’s…friend.
[Billy couldn't stop the grin that formed when he heard Anna's name and the possibility of her talking about him. What he did, though, was cough to at least try to hide it.] Yes, ma'am. Billy Jeffreys to be exact.
Property Brothers?
Sweet Bonnie, do not tell me you don't know the show.
This Is a Tragedy; How Will We make It? || Billy & Anna (1940s AU)
Her eyes widened for a moment, noticing his slight dig at her. But she let it go just as quick as she caught on. Anna began to get uneasy, not because of the man in front of her, but because of his frequent glances behind her. It made her wonder if Paul was coming, and what he would do if he was. His words made her wonder just how she was going to get home, she hadn’t given it a real thought until now. “No, no…” She cleared her throat, “I think…I think I’ll be able to get home on my own” Her tone was unsure, but even if Billy didn’t accompany her, chances were she’d be fine. Her uncle had people all over the city keeping an eye on Anna in one way or another.
"I actually wanted to give you this." She lifted the brown bag filled with food, "You never got to get your food, so I figured you oughta eat something." Anna held the bag until he took it. There was just about a full burger and some fries inside, and she’d never eat them anyways. One thing she didn’t want him to think was that she was only giving her leftovers to him because of pity. She was doing because she believed it to be the human thing to do. Anna sighed slightly, then put on a reassuring tone, "I get it if you don’t really want someone else’s food…"
Billy was hesitant at taking the bag of food that she presented him. His hand moved to grab it, shaking slightly though he hoped it was dark enough that she wouldn't notice. Before grabbing the bag, he quickly dropped his hand. "If you still want me to have that, you can give it t' me after you get home." He knew the bag would shake in his hands and he didn't want her to see that. He wanted to seem normal even if he was far from it.
And then it was like everyone but God was listening to his silent prayers. A car backfired as it drove past them causing the poor boy to travel back in time. His heart was racing, his head pounding, his body hurting as he felt the trickle of blood run down his leg. Everything felt like he was underwater -- drowning and couldn't find his way back to the surface. He couldn't find the words to warn the men around him. He couldn't voice the terror of seeing the soil running red, the blank looks in the eyes he saw on the ground, the sickly bodies pushing their way through the fence begging for food or to be released from such a hell.
His hands never shook when he held the gun. They didn't after he shot the first person he ever killed. And they weren't shaking now as he helped the prisoners who were still alive. He didn't understand what anyone was saying to him but smiled nonetheless.
"You're safe, now."
And then the flashback was over. Billy was frozen in the same spot he was before. His heart was pounding so hard that it felt as if he couldn't get enough air. He couldn't breathe. A shaking hand was brought to his throat, gripping it tightly as if that would somehow make it better. He looked around and nearly jumped two feet at the sight of the woman next to him. "I... I..." I'm sorry. He stumbled away from her -- a few broken steps that got him nowhere away from her. Billy was drowning and it was too dark to see where the surface was. What he needed was air. He needed to breathe. But how?
These Property Brothers need to calm down.
