Now that i think about it, out of all arithmetic operations, subtraction is the one that feels the most like it would be a villain if turned into a character of sorts.

I mean, think about it,

Addition simply adds, not ever rushing things and grows linearly and overall pretty constructive.

Multiplication is one step further; it rushes things but not too fast (like Exponentiation and above), its trustworthy and troubles nobody despite their seemingly over-the-top behavior.

Division is kind of a doozy but if you think about it, division doesn't ever add or subtract anything from the original value it just splits it so its a very economic and fair operation.

Subtraction straight up robs you... it literally just fucking robs you, spits in your mouth and sometimes makes you travel to another dimension dare you subtract too much. what the fuck???? are you trying to trap me in your pocket dimension old man?????? fuck you !!!!

BEHOLD, my newest invention; "Fence"

This fancy lookin' letter is objectively one of my best inventions yet. Why? because it can be used for ANYTHING. ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING can be transcribed with a bunch-o-fences.

Want to vaguepost? just replace all the letters in whatever message you wanted to post with fences and watch as people try to decipher what you wanted to say in the first place.

Complaining about how the latin alphabet is horrible for English's phonology? just transcribed the problematic sounds with Fence, problem solved!!!

Want to show someone that you mean something /j or /pos but forgot the tonetag to precisely show that its /j or /pos? /fence.

No longer do you have to worry about punctuation, meaning, grammar or onomatopoeias. Just slap a fence in there and it'll do the work for you because it can transcribe any sound imaginable

More Proper Longshot Showcase :D

As I'm getting used to Clip Studio Paint, I'm getting faster with writing and tweaking errors in these. This writing system is still relatively close to the standard Latin characters, so lmk how legible this is! Hopefully that helps with these idk :P One thing I still don't know is what specific classification this should be give ;-;

Text: Longshot Longshot was initially developed as a convenient shorthand when I had to make a cheat sheet for a midterm exam. It's turned into something that I wish to see developed by others, and made genuinely useful to someone beyond me.

Note: There is no reason the consecutive T and R sounds in “turn” shouldn’t look identical to the “ter” in “character” found on the next page. 👍 silly mixup on my part!

something that's been going through my mind lately is if o were to change my irl name, what would i change it to.

i dont really have any intent on changing it at the moment, mainly because of the surprisingly kickass lore behind it that's definetly straight out of a surrealist novel (whatever that means). doesn't change the fact im not quite bond of it, its a mainly male name and i dont identify as a male so, y'know, but I've practically gotten used to it its TOLERABLE.

HOWEVER: if i WERE to change it i would probably change it to, shit you not, Kris maybe. Why? because 1) it sounds good, 2) K is a badas letter 3) the fucking DELTARUNE REFERENCE dude. its PERFECT.
