god my favorite part of knitting/crocheting/etc is watching string become fabric. crumpling it in my hands. this fabric would’ve never existed had I not willed it into being. it isn’t fabric, it’s time made physical. made material. isn’t that the high of crafting? you mold time between your hands and put it into other people’s hands. my least favorite part is when my cat tries to cram the whole yarn ball into his mouth

And Ondiin and Leepy finished up :) really happy with Ondiin, not so much with Leepy. I like the watercolor-clouds Idea itself, but… eeeh. Anyone  got sme ideas on how to make her better?

Leepy needs more color! You've got the base of a 'clouds at sunset' on her already- you just need to add more variation- yellows & reds. (And maybe softer outlines on the clouds? Not sure there...)

New year, new spring, same video! It's that time again!

I get messages like this one every now and then. I understand if you don’t do something, you don’t really know what goes into it, so.. sure!~ Step one. Buy all the above. (Well, I mean, it doesn’t have to be that exact stuff, but you asked what I used, so there you go). Step two. Learn to sew. Learn to digitize. Digitize your embroidery. Test. Test again. Test again. Make a bear pattern. Tweak. Make another. Tweak. Make another. And anotherrrr. And on, and on, and on.. (seriously, see the prototyping bear pile photo above).  Embroider design. Cut pieces. Sew pieces. Stuff. Assemble. Add hand stitched elements.  So all that = Cap bear. The above is what I used/you need and the cost of making a Cap bear, starting from scratch. I’m sorry you think I’m charging too much for my work. I hope you find making one yourself more to your budget.
