Summer class is ending.
Will most likely return in my studyblr for the upcoming semester. The pandemic is still bad in our area. 😔
✨With most schools, colleges and unis closed around the globe and most studyblr students now having school at home I thought I would create a challenge to help everyone stay focused and productive and also to connect with people so even though most people are self-isolating, we don’t feel lonely✨
✨Info✨
Because no one really knows when we’re going to be able to go back to schools and I know it will depend very much on where you live, I’m going to do a month of daily ‘challenges’ starting on Monday 23rd March 2020 but if the quarantine keeps going I’ll try to add as the weeks/months go on
I want to see what y’all are posting so please use the tag #2020 quarantine challenge and I’ll track this tag and reboot as much as possible!
On this note, I will reblog basically everything even if you don’t think it is ‘aesthetic’ cause I love seeing how everyone does their notes and stuff so please get involved 💕

Some of my notes few days ago. Started to study for my qualifying exams 😌📚
fri // 17 apr
last night i started logging film reviews of everything i’ve been watching during the quarantine, using the review template drawn up by @athenus~ it’s been a very fun and therapeutic exercise so far. i was having a rough day and it actually helped my mood a lot. a little daunting that i still have over ten films to get through, but it’s quite enjoyable and i recommend it!
i’m using a little muji notebook i got while hanging out with one of my good friends in february. we both bought the same one with the intention of using it to write about “people, places, and things” and called it a noun journal. i’ve been using it to record excursions with my friends and as a place to save the receipts and tags and other scraps of paper i tend to accumulate… now that we’re all staying inside i’m having to repurpose it a bit.
anywho, thank god it’s friday. even though i’m working at home, i still welcome the weekend the same as i always have.
Playing with some presets.
Taking this time to relax and create art as preparation for my review in my upcoming qualifying exams. 📚
Succulents for everyone! 🌵
Book #3: Aurora Rising
I love how this book focuses more on the adventure and fantasy aspect. The little romance in there added value and did not over power the book's main theme. It is amazing how this book made me love a character that I'm not really fond of in the beginning. The POVs shifting from the characters isn't confusing and really adds depth to the storyline and character building. Now I'm just excited for the book 2! 🥰
Some of my favorite quotes/lines in the book:
"They are like children. The youngest race among the galactic milieu. Oblivious in their righteousness. Firmly convinced that any problem can be solved with enough faith or good hard work or, when all else fails, bullets." -Aurora Rising, p.93
"There is no love in violence." -p 357
"...sometimes you just gotta have faith." -p.183
Trying something new. 📚
Since community quarantine is imposed in our place, classes were cancelled. I have a ton of books that I've bought and haven't read yet and I think this will be a great time to read them. Will be sharing my thoughts about the books. 📖💞
I find it hard to do things related to academics at this time because I can't concentrate thinking about the things happening around our area. Reading books is a very therepeutic activity for me and this can be great for my mental health, I think. 😌
04/01/2020
Warming up for more self studies for the next month. Still can't go outside because of community lockdown. Time to get productive 📖
Hoping that everyone's doing good...
rare feelings
being completely immersed into a book as if you’re watching a movie
being able to study for a long time without being distracted
wandering upon a scent that reminds you of a distant memory from your childhood that you haven’t smelled for years and years
the freedom of letting yourself do something badly (like art or learning) and knowing you’re progressing every day
being completely happy despite the bad things because you remember every little good thing and kind person in your life
stargazing in a remote landscape and feeling existentially precious and insignificant at the same time
waking up early enough to see the darkness turn to sunrise
finding someone who is radiant in every way
being consistent with a goal you’ve been working on for the longest time and seeing the finished result
knowing that one chapter of your life has ended and a better one is beginning

2020 Academia Aesthetic 📚✏️💭
Deadlines met. Positive energy. Goodnight sleeps. Mental health together. Making connections. Coffee because you want it, not because you need it. Studying but not over studying. Good grades. Easy sailing. Building healthy relationships. Staying on top of things. Falling but getting back on track. Never giving up. Keeping your head up.
These things for 2020 <3
executive dysfunction be like *wants to do something* *doesnt do it* *feels bad* *wants to do something* *doesnt do it* *feels bad* *wants to do something* *doesnt do it* *feels ba
I recently learnt that executive dysfunction can be broken down into two main categories: anxiety that your attempt won't be satisfactory, or confusion about where to start or how to break it down into steps. As much as we feel bad about it, it's extremely important to remember that it is NOT laziness and we in fact shouldn't feel bad.
hey reblog this instead
I want to overcome this soon :(((
Gonna post some journal content this week after my very busy prelimenary exams! Will start a 100 days of productivity this holiday.
Planning to advance study this holiday and start reviewing for my up coming comprehensive exams on April.
