I’m incapable of not combining hyperfixations and just finished watching The Orville… behold, alien Light, an emissary from Ketoa! Almost nothing is known about his home planet, or his species, and he likes to keep it that way. From what the Union knows, Ketoans are extremely technilogically advanced but are extremely custom bound, and culturally isolated. He’s helping collect data on the various species allied with the Union so his planet can come to a decision on whether or not to join it… but Captain L thinks there’s something off about his story.
