Oh yeah, it’s very humid! I’m doing my best to make sure we both drink plenty of water, especially when we’re out. I got us some fun thermoses to inspire us to drink more haha!

Oh, hopefully some of the people can at least have kindness and manners rubbed off on them even if they were not raised with them so present.

The heat and humidity will take it right out of you, but I’m glad to hear you’re making sure you stay hydrated. I always have to remember to make sure me and my dog stay hydrated while we’re out and of the two of us, I somehow forget about me, more.

Like, New Yorkers have their own brand of manners. We’re on the go, we don’t want to be bothered, we’re not gonna bother you, but like if you need help, we’ll probably help you. Probably being the keyword. Nowadays, I’m a little better at being nice to people and not immediately blowing them off, but it took a long time to get to this point.

Operation: Flying Penguin

Deciding they didn’t trust their mother to actually follow through on getting a stuffie, Austyn decided to take it upon themself to get one for her. After entirely too much searching and an Amazon prime delivery later, they had the stuffie in hand. A very soft penguin that wasn’t too big and wasn’t too small. With the item in hand, they headed down to the sixth floor, knocking on Raven’s door.  Once the door was open all the way, and with no word or warning, Austyn threw the stuffed toy at their mother’s face before immediately running back towards the elevator.
