when that poll was going around like "does Gale from Baldur's Gate 3 eat pussy" and the 'no' vote was winning, I was like y'all he literally talks about it in canon. Several times. It comes up. Several times.

someone made fun of me like, 'this dialogue is not sexy you guys are embarrassing.' and i was like did I say that I find this dialogue sexy? No, Gale torments me. 3 out of 4 things he says I wish he didn't. But like it or not he does eat pussy. I wish I didn't have to reference the text but my hand was forced. to be so clear, Gale (along with all the companions) is canonically bi, and he talks about going down on the player character regardless of genitals. so he's eating everything. he's even thrilled if the player character ends up a mindflayer. he's like great, i can work with that. and the embarrassing things he says isn't bad writing. it's not that the writers didn't know how to write flirtatious dialogue. they just knew gale would be embarrassing. that's how he talks.

enver gortash is so funny in terms of character design like he’s a thirty year old who looks forty with an elevated glam rock aesthetic including messy hair and guyliner and he’s like weirdly handsome in the face but also has yellow teeth and his con score is 10 so i assume a strong gust of wind would knock him over and his outfit has motifs of hell, the place where he was imprisoned as a child, and he’s got cunty shoes that i assume he made since his parents are cobblers and he’s a soft vulnerable human with a doomed star-crossed schoolgirl crush on a demigod lizard whose idea of marriage is murder-suicide. and he’s got these shiny golden gauntlets that look so fucking cool and his pointer and middle fingers have shorter nails than the rest. and he wants to take over the world and turn everyone into robots so society will find peace. who is doing it like him. nobody. literally nobody
