Tales from a Crisis Line

Part 1

She’s been walking for hours, hands pressed into fists that mirror her rage, then jammed into her pockets. She can feel her nails digging into her palms, and she welcomes the pain. It is the only thing she understands. Pain is the one constant she’s had since she was five years old, an old friend, a soulmate.

It’s late. Or early, depending on your point of view. The streets are deserted, the city quiet. And yet she walks, careless and caring less. Whatever happens, happens, and maybe, just maybe, someone or something will appear from the shadows, and put her out of her misery permanently.

Claire is no stranger to her darker thoughts. They reside just below the surface of her skin, rearing their ugly heads in the middle of the night, or during moments of insecurity. Sometimes she can fight them, emerging victorious. Sometimes they defeat her.

Just when she thinks she has no more tears to cry, they spring up again as if to remind her that sorrow is where she will stay, where her soul is meant to live.

The lights of Tradeston Bridge beckon her. She stops in the middle of the structure, leans over the railing, and stares down at the dark, swirling waters of the River Clyde.

The black water promises peace.

This will be my last response to anybody who has @‘d me. I don’t care. I wish you safety I wish you health I wish you luck to good things in this International pandemic. Keep doing good things, stop passing judgment on things you know nothing of and stop exploiting Italy or any country to prove a point.

My point, I don’t know you and you don’t know me, you only have the posts that I display to judge me - the things that I say! Yes, most of my friends would tell you something very different.

Don’t use social media to defame anyone’s character, don’t use their actions on social media to defame anyone’s character. It’s irresponsible, it’s childish, ill-informed, quite frankly, ignorant at best.

I like both the costars. I don’t define what they do on social media as who they are or try to judge their character based upon so little information. I truly do hope this thins out his fandom herd. Because, this, this is also a pandemic of sorts, and it’s the kind of thing the world need not have.. We’ve got enough of the putrid within our governments well being. There is no time to get sucked up into hate other people that can’t change the world. Especially, when we as a group of people have more power to do good, than one with a microphone.

It’s about time for this hate to stop, for the public lynchings of character to stop. If ever there was a time to band together for the greater good beyond what a TV celebrity is doing, the time is NOW.

Since I was one of the “fanfic authors” who was vocal about this, I’m going to serve up some tea.

I’m sure you’ve seen all the diagrams and spreadsheets by now. If he comes into contact with even one person via his flight/airports/property manager/hotel staff, he’s now perpetuating the disease. You don’t give a fuck, great, but the people he will meet after might. Because they could end up in the fucking hospital. The ENTIRE POINT is about the unknown. You could UNKNOWINGLY INFECT SOMEONE ELSE, SOMEONE VULNERABLE. He literally spent months in one of the most infected states in the USA and then jumped on a plane KNOWING it was NOT RECOMMENDED. I don’t care who you are, that’s fucking careless.

2). “Also she’s a playboy bunny, former playboy bunny and if he is in fact dating her good for fucking him.”

No one gives a shit who he’s fucking. Again, you missed the point. She’s clearly as stupid as he is for hopping on a plane and not taking this seriously. Plus bitch needs to learn how to spell quarantine. The word is everywhere ffs.

Sam’s posting in MPC… LA is a ghost town and people left in droves because THEY WENT HOME. NOT ON A FUCKING HOLIDAY. But what really gets me is the “Hawaii had very few cases”…ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? HAWAII ASKED PEOPLE TO STAY AWAY. THEY DON’T WANT AN INFLUX OF PEOPLE BRINGING THE VIRUS TO THEIR ISLAND. Judas. If he had a compromised immune system he’d go home to the UK with the NHS he loves so much and he’d hole up in his house. The common sense you claim to have just went down the fucking toilet

He was also probably deeply traumatized by his father leaving, as would anyone. I’m sorry, what now? No excuses, thank you. Young boys who grow up with mothers who are there for them, who show them resiliency, stability, strength in tough times...that’s the impact a parent leaves on a child. If anything he should have been inspired to find someone like his mum...someone with a work ethic, someone who supports him.

Don’t come here and say you don’t care, and don’t try to shame people because he’s fallen from grace. You clearly do care or you wouldn’t be banging on my door. No one expected him to be Jamie. But maybe people expected an almost 40 year old man to actually BEHAVE like a 40 year old man?

I would hope being raised by a single mom might result in a respect for women.

Oh, I don't disagree there’s a big energetic difference between lying and being private, There's a marked difference in them as individuals and when around each other for a few years now. But when I scan the fandom at large, the ardent fans (and neutrals and onlies) don't seem to see it.

I think that a lot of people in the fandom picked a side and did not budge from it no matter what happened. And if they change their stance on the show, the actors, etc. they go AWOL rather than continue to blog.

We all see our own version of reality, too. I don’t get how Cait’s fans think she is happy and in-love with T. Like, I’d be happy for her if she seemed happy but she never does.
