Why is Robin and Barney's ship name "swarkles"?

There is this episode called “Swarley” in season 2 when the gang members start referring to Barney as ‘Swarley’.It is the episode where they are in the coffee shop and Barney’s name on the cup gets mistaken as ‘Swarley’.Then there is Robin, who is sometimes referred to as Robin Sparkles, the former Canadian popstar.In “Slap Bet” Robin Sparkles is first mentioned and a recurring character throughout the show.

I'm rewatching the finale right now and it's just so sad. But please, don't hate the show for how it ended, love it for the whole run.

How I Met Your Mother will ever be my favorite show, because how Robin said “The journey is the best part”.
