Well…I don’t know. I mean, if you’re thinking like, the fire and brimstone kind of hell, that seems a little weird, right? But if you think about it, heaven is supposed to be paradise or something. So if it’s anyone’s actual personal paradise, the people that they want to be there would be there even if they’re in hell, right? I don’t know. I’m not really religious.

"I don’t discuss that, but I don’t really believe in heaven or hell, so might be a bit awkward for me to answer that."

He looked the other boy up and down, a light grin tugging on his mouth. "Doesn't have to be. I don't believe unicorns exist, but that doesn't mean talking about it to someone who does couldn't be fun." He thought for a second, eyebrows furrowing as he reflected on the words that had just left his mouth. "Although that's not an entirely accurate comparison. It would suggest I do believe in heaven and hell, and I'm mostly neutral on the subject."

That's okay, I'm not terribly invested in making them swoon. I know it's a hard concept for you to grasp, but not everyone has a desperate need to feel validated by having tons of admirers. I don't see how that pertains to the existence of a hell. Unless you're saying exams prove that such torment indeed exists, to which I say... well played.
That’s assuming you believe in heaven and hell in the first place. Don’t you think that’s a little bit heavy topic for a random conversation? That’s why they invented small talks in the first place, you know.
You're assuming you need to believe in either to discuss it? I'd like to think the human race has come far enough to make conversation on views we may not necessarily hold. In any case, does that mean you don't? Believe in them, I mean. Nah, they invented small talk so people without anything to say got their time to shine as well, I'm sure of it.
Small talk is honestly mankind's most useless invention. I've just spent twenty minutes listening to some idiot talk about the weather. I know it's cold outside, I don't need you to tell me. So from now on, to avoid those kind of situations, I'll be asking thought provoking questions that lead to meaningful conversations to anyone who talks to me. Now, on the subject of heaven and hell: if a person who dies ends up in heaven, but the people they love end up in hell, is that person ever really going to be happy? Unlikely. So for heaven to exist, the concept of a hell full of torment is practically impossible. Discuss.
I’m glad you have that mind set. That can make you either really open minded, or just down straight idiotic. Either way, it’s not such a bad trait.
Those two aren't mutually exclusive, I reckon. I can be the world's most open minded idiot. An idiot who's going to end up dead in a ditch somewhere if he turns out to be wrong about you, but at least I wasn't a biased idiot. Speaking of ending up dead, did you do it?
