how do you know if you're angelkin?? this may seem silly but i'm curious. i feel like i am but at the same time, i'm not for sure. thank you!
i mean, there’s no set way to find out. you explore, you discover, sometimes you get answers, sometimes… you don’t. and once you figure out, the doubts don’t always go away. the search never stops. it requires a lot of soul-searching, just general questioning of “do i identify as an angel? why do i feel these connections to angelic things? is this thing i’m experiencing angel-related, or can it be explained by something else?” the experience of being kin is unique and personal for everyone, and nobody can tell you what you are except for yourself. in any case, i wish you luck with figuring it out.
Do you have any advice on remembering my name? I know I’m angelkin and I know I didn’t fall I was incarnated but I just can’t remember my name and it’s hurting me so much :(
Don’t force it. Maybe look through some names, but don’t be so desperate that you form a connection with a name that isn’t yours. It’ll come to you. -Sar
Terfs: wombyn are their ovaries!!! Ovaries make a wombybybynnn. Accept that u are a womynbdgnn you have ovaries !!!!
Me, a trans man on the danger list for ovarian cancer and is going to get them removed in the distant or near future:
not for long
You’re still female whether you have ovaries or not lmao
You heard it here first folks!! Females are females regardless of whether or not they have ovaries, so trans women are women regardless of their lack them. Well said :)
You played yourself like a damn fiddle, fool
To any trans women and transfeminine followers of mine, did you know there’s a pretty huge Etsy store which does gaff underwear and swimsuits specifically designed for trans people amongst its products? They go in a pretty decent range of sizes, including sizes for young girls, and while I do not personally know anyone who has used them, there’s a fuckton of positive reviews on the Etsy store. They have a ton of colours to choose from, different fabric choices, the works.
And for once they’re not marked “for crossdressers” too, they actually under “transgender”, so that’s (depressingly) unusual.
I’m mostly posting this because I’ve seen a lot of younger people recently in particular saying they never knew what gaffs were… a lot of people find them WAY MORE comfortable and convenient than tucking, so I would recommend looking into them if you’ve never done so before!
And even if you yourself don’t use or need this stuff, do pass this kind of info on to any friends of yours that might, guys! There’s always like a million more PSAs about transmasc stuff as opposed to transfem stuf tbh…
this blog won’t often be used for things like this, but i would very much appreciate it if you angels could report @translesbianpositivity, they’re a TERF who have been harassing some close friends of mine. i figure the more people get in on this, the sooner this problem can be dealt with.
Hey quick reminder that this ain’t a call blog. If you have a call I’d recommend @angel--finder or @book-of-angels
I'm getting really discouraged about finding people I knew in my past life, mostly because my memories of interactions with anyone but two other people are very vague despite me knowing that I interacted with many people. (People being used loosely, considering I interacted with demons, angels, other gods, and humans). It's depressing. I've put out calls and everything and no one seems to be remembering me. It just adds to my loneliness that carries over from the past life. Any advice?
Hey dude ya a lot of people in the community here probably feel ya hard.
I’m not sure if this is the right thing to say, but sometimes it’s for the better, ya know? If you’re not able to find the people you remember they might be somewhere else that’s not here, and I don’t think they’d want you twiddling your thumbs here waiting for them. And talking to people you just slightly remember can also be pretty damn awkward.
And not everyone here’s that great, yaknow? There are a lot of people who may take advantage of ya pretending to remember and stuff. My recommendation is just… go out and talk to others, fuck if you remember them or not. Common threads can be good convo starters, but overall, putting work into it builds friendships and relationships! You don’t need to remember them to be their friend and that could help with the loneliness, as well as building up a good system you can trust. And who knows, if you didn’t know them well as an angel the friendship may just translate over too :) some of my closest friendships in the community have been with people I didn’t know before. I have one friend I remember, and we’re close, but we’re close for stuff besides angel, get it? Go out and stretch your wings (haha).

Hey, I was the one who sent in this ask.
I guess that makes sense. I’m just shy and nervous and get overwhelmed when people ask me for memories because I don’t know how to explain it when so much happened. And I want someone to talk to that I relate to as far as stuff in my past life, but I’m not sure how to do that without people being able to remember me.
I don’t know, I guess I’m just kind of making excuses for not being able to make friends easily. I’ve got a few other angelkin friends but like, considering I never even saw heaven for myself, I still feel estranged from them.
That’s shit, dude :/ I’m sorry you gotta go through that! Finding people with similar sorts experiences could help, by like goin through the tags or angel—finder or smth
Maybe you could try some demons? I know they don’t really got a community that’s as connected as this one from my limited experience, we’re kinda outliers, but it should help you from feeling estranged I think. And dw, heaven ain’t all its cracked up to be. I don’t know f this is the right thing to say, but you can always message me dude if ya feel lonely, and I’m wishing ya the best of luck

when I was an angel, I defected and fell. However, I think I turned out to be the leader of a revolution/rebellion? And I think I lost. Is rebellion against their gods common in angels? Or was this more of a unique event? I know I'm not lucifer nor abrahamic in any way, so it's odd for there to be similarities, and I wonder if people had a similar experience.
I haven’t talked to many non-Abrahamic angels, and it sounds like from what I’ve heard the situation here isn’t exactly normal, even if bad experiences with deities seems to be somewhat common. Sounds like your place had some shit going on, and looking at here, it sounds plausible enough
-Sarakiel
same on the not knowing many non-abrahamic angels, but rebellions and wars aren’t exclusive to abrahamic angels. i wouldn’t go so far as to say that all groups of theistic angels had some sort of rebellion, but i wouldn’t call it uncommon. the idea of rebelling against one’s creator is seen everywhere, usually with robots, and history really likes to repeat itself.
as for the lucifer bit, some angelkin see lucifer as a figurehead rather than the true leader, while others believe there were multiple leaders, but lucifer was the most notable of them. it depends on the personal interpretation, i don’t have a solid opinion on it but every take is interesting

I've recently realised that I am an angelkin and I'm beginning to have memories. What would you suggest doing next?
First off, welcome it’s always nice to meet someone new. Things you can do include:
Write down your memories as you get them, you’ll be glad that you can come back and look at them again when you need to.
Get involved with the community! It helps to settle any anxieties you might have and with the right people it can help unlock memories.
Always be critical of your memories and the memories of others, your mind can create things if it believes it should. (Not that I am suggesting your memories are fake. It is simply important to remember than human brains can play tricks on us.)
Also check out @angel–finder and @helpline-666 they both have resources that might help you. And you can ask the helpline any questions.
Just stay relaxed and if you’re comfortable reach out to others. It takes a minute to settle into all this, I remember. Once you are there’s a lovely group chat for angels and demons that I would recommend joining called hell’s network. (But definitely give yourself a minute first.)
Thank you for sending the ask, and I hope it’s been helpful.
^^ Good advice! I do not personally have any experience dealing with memories, as they are not fully a part of my belief system, but I can second that writing things down and using a healthy amount of self-critique are both important.

We’re also an available resource, not quite as well-known as angel-finder but we have good team of people in case anyone has questions!
New Advice Blog!
Hey there, I’m Cipher! I’m a fallen angel who’s been mostly lurking on forums and aesthetic blogging on tumblr for a few years now, and one thing I noticed is that while the therian and general otherkin sides of the alterhuman community have a lot going for them in terms of advice blogs and a wealth of solid resources, the angel/demon side is a bit lacking in that respect.
So I’ve set this blog up so you can ask about:
general questions about alterhuman things
specific advice/questions for angels, fallen angels, and demons
anything else relevant
The one thing this blog is not for is divination, moodboards, or canon calls. There’s plenty of those blogs already!
I’m also trying to put together a resources page of primary and secondary theological theory/sources for angels and demons, to make things a little easier for people trying to research. So if you know of something that can contribute, let me know and I’ll check it out!

one more thing, what’s with wings? can you feel them? how long have you been able to feel them in this vessel? do you have any idea what they look like or how big they are?
To me, wings are more of an astral thing. Like, I’m aware of their presence and appearance in a non-physical way, if that makes any sense. I’m sure others may have varying experiences, but that’s my take on it.
On occasion, I’ll have those weird moments where it’s like I’m hyper aware of it? Like, you can almost feel and/or hear them in a physical, but it’s still not a totally physical thing for me. Again, your experience may vary.
Others feel free to chime in! What’s your relationship and experience with wings?
- Sariel
When I can feel them is sort of weird, and rare. Usually it’s just weight, particularly when I’m in a shift- as I usually slump, I have better posture in a shift due to the imagined weight of the wings. Most of my perception of them is ‘clairvoyant’ I guess, the whole ‘mind’s eye’ thing. I can picture them if I want to, but sometimes I perceive them suddenly, usually during some sort of change. Back pain is commonly listed as a symptom but honestly, in most cases it’s bad posture. The muscles in the area of the back associated with wings cause pain when slumping a lot or bearing heavy weight, so, occam’s razor and shit.

i think a lot of angelkin are wondering this, but what do you think the main reason for you to “fall”?
So, for clarity’s sake, we’ve discussed fallen vs incarnated a bit here: https://manywings.tumblr.com/post/158279733099/what-is-the-difference-between-fallen-and
My opinion is that there are a lot of reasons someone could be fallen. The most commonly stated reason seems to be that they were cast out, usually as a punishment. Others mention that they chose to fall. It depends on your own interpretation of what it means to be fallen, you know? Some view it as a state of grace, others view it as more of an alignment kind of thing.
As always, others feel free to chime in!
Note: I think the whole fallen vs non fallen debate is pretty Abrahamic angel-centric, which is fine, but things may work differently for those who are non-Abrahamic.
- Sariel
I definitely think the main reason is punishment, it’s what I’ve seen most commonly as well, though it’s definitely not the only reason- I willingly left after some stuff I did and some disillusionment. It was my own choice- I wasn’t forced to do it in any way. I’m abrahamic.
-Sarakiel
(ok i’m going to send a lot of questions you don’t have to answer them all) what do you think is going to happen when you die? do you just go back to heaven? is there a possibility you would go to hell? or is it something totally different? and if you just go back to heaven why don’t you just kill yourself when you want to go back?
answering the last part first: suicide’s never a good option. there are people that care about you, even if you don’t fully see it. to touch on the spiritual side of the question, since that’s what i’m guessing you were aiming at there rather than suicide ideation: if you follow general christian beliefs, suicide is generally considered a sin, which removes your chance at going to heaven. if you believe in reincarnation, there’s no guarantee that you’re going to end up where you want.
as i’m not of an abrahamic faith, i can’t really comment on the “you go to heaven or hell when you die” thing, because it’s not part of my beliefs. i believe that both places exist, but i don’t really buy into the “your soul spends forever in paradise or damnation” thing.
i believe in reincarnation, but i’m not really sure it’s possible to “direct” where you end up. the main possibility for anyone is moving on to another life, tho it’s also possible to end up remaining unincarnated for a time. my beliefs also incorporate nonlinear time and multiple iterations of reality, so there’s a fair shake that i’m still the metatron despite being incarnated here, they’re just at different points on my personal timeline. time is weird. but it means that if i returned to heaven now, there’d be two metatrons. i doubt i’ll ever end up returning to heaven, but i guess there’s a vague chance?
- metatron
I’ve always thought I’d return to being an angel eventually. Pretty sure that’s after I finish up in this life, but you can never be sure. And again, suicide isn’t the option you want to take.

from research and what i’ve been able to gather on my own, it’s generally a fall from grace, not a literal fall. when it comes to the idea of falling as punishment, i see it as two main components: the actions taken, and the punishment that happens as a result. some might say the actions are the fall, some will say that it’s the punishment, and some will say it’s the space in-between. from my interpretation, if you were exiled from heaven after losing god’s favour, the exile is tied to the fall, but it isn’t the fall itself.
as a question for anyone who remembers a literal fall, out of genuine curiosity and also to get more data on this in general: where did you fall to, if you remember?
