Okay so like... I have not posted headcanons in FOREVER so uhh... enjoy ^_^ !!
Caregiver for sure,, definitely took care of Yokoi when she regressed from stress after feeling as if she was an incompetent leader / was very very caring towards her during the investigation
Best with toddler / younger kid regressors, they remind her of her daughter
Sometimes she will seek out the littles whenever she misses her child just a little more than usual
Has a huge spot for babyspace littles, but doesn’t babysit them as much since she gets too emotional
Very very active! Makes sure her and her little one are always moving around, loves playing games and also makes sure they stretch a bit before playing with them (no littles whining about their arms being sore from climbing around!)
Flip! He’s great with littles, but he usually cares for them with another cg, he doesn’t like being left alone with littles
Usually regresses easily with other littles.. He can’t help it though! They look like they're having so much fun ,,,
Doesn’t have a lot of little gear aside from chewlery that Matthias ordered for him!
Little age is around 4-8 years old, rarely regresses younger unless he’s extremely anxious
Usually plays the violin for littles that he’s caring for. He also tries to teach them but learned the hard way that he shouldn’t let them touch it when he’s not looking (Ikeda tried chewing on it, nearly damaging the strings)
Always gives littles head scratches
Turns them into mini punks… other cg won’t notice but he’ll usually send the little to their cg with a new patch on their sweater or random punk pins / stickers
Probably a little…? Although it's not often
Extremely prone to tantrums, has a lot of outbursts
Usually riles up other littles,,, shes very very good at convincing others to participate in her mischievous ideas
Mutsuko is her CG! Yaitabashi as well, but he doesn’t care for her as much after the Isoda incident, he’s too busy grieving and processing what happened between Isoda and Kumada.
Little age is around 5-7 years old
Usually regresses if she is under immense stress.
Still has beef with Ikeda while regressed.
Kinda bratty,, the corner is her best friend at this point
The few times she willingly regresses and it's just her and Yaita, she’s a sweet pea.
Trauma / stress regressors, most of them time his regression is involuntary
Usually clings to Tei since he is his caregiver, but if tei isn’t available then he’ll usually end up with DenDen
Loves to color when he’s little! He is very creative and adores arts and crafts
Usually waddles to Tei and holds up his art for him to look at.
Little age is 1-6 years old,, pretty wide range
Usually stays around 4-5 years old, he’ll regress to 6 if he’s near people he’s not too comfortable with. If it's just him and Tei (or if he is extremely stressed) He’ll regress around 1-3 years old
Chews on EVERYTHING, always has chewlery or a paci nearby
Super clingy, will follow Tei around and hold onto his sleeve or force him to carry him
Does not defend himself for the life of him,,, he just walks away, complete opposite from his older self who says what he wants and doesn’t feel bad
If he’s in babyspace then don’t even think about putting him down for a single second.. He will cry his little heart out until he gets picked up again (preferably by Tei)
If hes really small he’ll call Tei mama, its extremely rare, and its only happened when he was really small and super sleepy when he wanted Tei to pick him up
Sucks on Teis hair… yanks it as well, he has no concept of personal space
If Tei’s laying down then he's laying down on his chest..
Babbles A LOT when he's extra tiny, he has no volume control, it’s a complete opposite of his semi older regressed self who’s quiet.
Caregiver! Don’t be fooled by her childish personality, she’s amazing with kids!
Super affectionate, will carry them as much as they want
Most littles flock to her! She’s incredibly strong…. She’ll sometimes pick up little and run around with them and pretend as if they’re flying.
Usually wraps up younger littles in her coat if they’re napping / if she needs to settle them down…. Turns them into a little burrito when swaddling them
She’s the best at calming them down,,, if a caregiver is stressed and needs some time to relax then all they have to do is stop by DenDens dorm! She’ll never turn them down
Super good at escalating conflicts between littles
Always good at reading a little body language, they don’t have to say anything and she’ll know what they need.
Always incorporates the littles interests into their hangout so they feel more comfortable!
Hideyuki Tsukigata / Matthias De Clerq
Flip but heavily lean towards his caregiver side!
The few times he has regressed was when parts of his past was brought up
Ninomiya took care of him at the time, one the rare occasion Tsukigata regresses, Ninomiya cares for him.
Also regresses after drinking the mysterious liquid from the voter game
Aside from that, he’s an incredibly loving caregiver
Has little horse figurines that littles can play with
He loves to play hide and seek with them! He enjoys finding them in the most obvious spots and pretending to be oblivious to their hiding spot
Tries to teach Ninomiya how to braid hair and lets them practice with his hair !!
Tells Ninomiya stories about his early childhood in Belgium
Tells Ninomiya about Belgium folklore as a way to lull him to sleep.
Babysitter but has regressed a few times with Ouno
Used to babysit for Ideka, but when he realized Tei outed him he started avoiding Yokoi.
Ruka reads to kids , sometimes its stuff from her dictionary or random children's books she can get her hands onto.
Yokoi lets them watch educational shows only..
Usually plays board games with any little that she's babysitting in the rec room!
Sometimes she’ll get a little too excited and rile up the little she's babysitting, other times she’ll spook them (if they especially young) and end up having to comfort a weepy little,,
Very blunt without realizing it
A bit lenient but tries to be stern, she just feels bad for being stern with littles
Usually cares for Kumada, but after chapter 2 he needed a bit of space so he could collect his thoughts, he didn’t want his stress to affect how he cared for Kumada.
He makes flower crowns with littles!
He loves to play dress up with them, he allows them to try on his clothes
If they don’t fit his clothes then he’ll allow them to style his outfits
Talks to them about silly terrarium ideas, he’ll design a terrarium for the most ridiculous of ideas
Draws with the littles, all though he is a little apprehensive around Ikeda, he drew with him when Tei had to get pulled aside to talk to one of their classmates
Shows the littles how to care for plants!
Caregiver, she usually cares for Osamu !
Wears her emotions on a sleeve
Used her robot making skills to make a mechanical cradle for Osamu!
Puts gloves on her hands so she can comfortably run her hands through Osamu's hair so it doesn’t get caught in little parts of her prosthetics.
Tells Osamu about different competitions she has participated in!
Despite her lacking volume control, she usually tries to quiet down when interacting with littles so she doesn’t scare them
SHes bets with baby regressors
LOVES feeding Osamu little snacks
Carries Osamu around EVERYWHERE
Teases Osamu a bit when he's feeling a little older than usual, but it's only out of love
Always notices when Osamu is close to regressing, he has his little tells. WIth his consent she’ll tease him into regressing.
Loves to babytalk him even when he's big, sometimes she won’t notice she’s causing him to regress and then she’ll have an itty bitty lil guy on her hands ,,,
Whenever there's craps / spare materials she’ll craft little gear for the littles if they ask her!
Little age ; 3-9 years old, his little age fluctuates a lot!
Usually regresses with Isoda and DenDen, but Isoda is his primary caregiver.
His little tells that he's regressing involves him chewing on his hair / fingers, fidgeting, slurring his words, and avoiding eye contact.
Usually isoda puts his hair in a pony tail, it overstimulates him whenever it's loose and he's regressed.
He doesn’t let anyone else touch his hair, only isoda
He's a stress regressor, but once he realized what was going on he began regressing voluntarily.
He’ll usually regress younger if Isoda babies him (which is something she does often, she likes to babytalk him when they're alone)
Sucks his thumb way too much,,, Isoda usually has a pacifier for him on standby
Tries to avoid regressing so he can help others, but Isoda is very stern about him rergessing on a consistent schedule
If he doesn’t regress often he becomes extremely irritable and his little tendencies become much more obvious.
He owns a lot of little gearing because of Isoda and Maekawa
Plays doctor with other littles, usually interacts with Ikeda, and occasionally Ogura, but it's not too often since he gets over stimulated by her antics.
Age range is 7-9 years old (older regressor)
Loves to lead the other littles she pays with
Before Akiba died, he took care of her while she was in headspace. She’d usually take them on “adventures” and made so many pillow forts
After Akiba died she tried to regress less often
Despite others offering to watch over her while regressing, she turned down their offers. She didn’t want to get attached and then find her caregiver dead.
She’s really good at comforting upset littles. She knows how to read them and tell them what they need to hear (if they're throwing a tantrum, panicking etc etc)
Only regresses into baby space / toddler space , regresses from 6 months old to 3 years old.
Regressed when he had to go to medbay
Clings to Maekawa, doesn’t allow anyone else to watch him while he is regressed.
Had a few playdates with Ikeda, surprisingly they get along well when they're both regressed.
He is a very talkative baby… loves to interact with Ikeda, he is one of the few people that has Shishikura babbling wildly. He thinks it’ silly when Ikeda calls him ‘little baby’ (despite Ikeda mirroring the age he is regressed to whenever they have playdates)
One time he got wrapped up into playing doctor with Hirose and had a full blown panic attack while regressing. This resulted in Maekawa having to remove them from the playdate a little earlier than expected. His fear of doctors even seeps into his regression.
Shishikura struggles with taking his medication while regressed, Maekawa has to give it to him in different ways such as placing it into pudding or mashed up food.
They take care of Hirose!
Usually carries a pacifier in their pocket
Likes to tease them by randomly slipping it in their mouth (They only do that whenever they can tell Hirose needs to regress)
Has a strict regression schedule for Hirose, he knows Hirose like the back of their hand. Hirose becomes less observant and irrational whenever he needs to regress. Isoda understands that his role as the “Doctor” requires him to be 100% there
Holds Hirose's hand everywhere they go.
Isoda plays the guitar for Hirose as a way to lull him to sleep.
Isoda also sings to Hirose to calm him down whenever he's crying or if he's sleepy.
Caregiver. He only cares for Ikeda, he doesn’t want to place his attention on anyone else. He feels as if Ikeda is the only one that truly needs his care
Extremely protective over Ikeda
All though he was a little embarrassed at first, he enjoys being called mama by Ikeda, he understands the amount of trust and vulnerability it takes from Ikeda to be able to do that
He’s extremely honest with Ikeda
Tends to cook with Nishiguchi so they could prepare meals for littles
Usually holds Ikeda and has him on his hip while he makes him food / his nightly bottles.
Usually tries to get Ikeda to go into babyspace so he can get him to sleep easily with a bubble bath, nightly bottle and head scratches
Pretends to understand what Ikeda says when he's in baby space even though he’s usually just babbling random stuff.
He’s a little weary of letting Ikeda go on playdates with others.. Especially Kumada, he tries to keep the two separated. He doesn’t want any conflict
HE’ a very anxious parent,,, he gets so nervous when his classmates have to babysit Ikeda
Only feels comfortable with DenDen, Yokoi, Ninomiya / Matthias babysitting Ikeda.
Caregiver ! usually cares for Kumada
Loves to cook for the other littles and drop it off at their rooms , but it's rare she spends time with other littles, she’s usually with Kumada. It's rare that Kumada will let her interact with other littles when she regresses, she gets jealous very easily.
Very hands on caregiver, she’ll even make baby food in the kitchen from scratch for the other younger littles
Makes foods for littles in different shapes, one time she made Kumada a motorcycle shaped slice of pizza!
Loves to play mahjong with Kumada, lets her win just so she can gloat about it to Yaitabashi.
Nishiguchi usually cuts up fruits into silly little shapes as well!
Sometimes she’ll sew clothing for the littles so they can have little clothing, she’s made a few onesies, bibs, and shirts.
Babysitter , took care of Ogura prior to his death
Likes to pick her up and pretend to use Ogura as a dumbbell, she adores it. In his eyes, she weighs nothing, so it's easy for him to lift her up.
Allows Ogura to sit on his back while he does push ups
Plays into Ogura's random ideas
He loves to challenge her by coming up with wackier ideas
Extremely stubborn but tones it down so he won’t upset Ogura when she is regressed.
