Lazy fingers twist around the dainty chain that hangs from her neck, a small notion of mindless affection before pulling her strands of hair away from the links.

“Did you not feel that? Your hair was all tangled in your necklace. I can’t believe you didn’t notice.” She takes a sip from the whisky she’s been haphazardly nursing, eyes falling onto her cuticles as she shrugs. “It looked like it was tugging at your scalp. You must have a really hard head to have not noticed it pulling at your hair for the past fifteen minutes.”

She doesn’t mean to sound rude.

She doesn’t mean to sound nice either. 

“Maybe you’d notice if you weren’t too preoccupied alternating between snacking on your thumbnail like it’s rated a Michelin star and rubbing your spit covered hands all over the couch.” 

She looks up, eyes glazed with a mixture of annoyance and boredom. 

“Just a thought.”

Nice was never her forte.

anyway below the cut is a bunch of facts abt bora who is just as messy as me

born in busan to an asshole couple

they sent her off to a prestigious art school in seoul when she was thirteen because they were tired of dealing with her

very good at the piano

hates the piano

her parents are awful people and pressure her to be the best but she just wants to chill and be a normal twenty something 

but at the same time she’s also too afraid to move on from piano because her entire life has revolved around it and it’s all she knows

attended yonsei university as a music major

now works as a concert pianist, relatively well known in bougie circles but by no means ~famous~

clinically diagnosed with cyclothymia, a mild form of bipolar disorder

but it’s still untreated so she suffers from intense, erratic mood swings

romanticizes everything in an attempt to create distractions

deflects blame for her unhappiness onto other people (sry)

trusting but unforgiving if her trust is abused so y’all better not cross her or she’ll turn into a demon hellbent on ruining ur life

can be pretty sarcastic but not always in a rude way

upfront with her opinions and feelings for the most part

the type of girl to wear all black and blast 80′s goth rock while studying music theory or reading sheet music to tchaikovsky’s piano concerto no. 1

wishes she could’ve been an architect and values visual art as much as she does performance art

deserves to be protected

but also not really bc she can be evil sometimes
