This photo gallery is a representation of HPNC’s musings on what symbolizes the Southside of Chicago. It is clear that we are not in consensus. We are left wondering how the Southside can be both abandoned buildings and art galleries? Murals and cracked pavement? We have yet to find an sufficient answer, but this is just day one of our journey to understand Southside.
