This is one of the first official communications where aggression, intimidation and harassment was discussed at HTL-Strefa Marietta. This incident was relayed to the CEO of HTL USA who was off on a business trip when it happened. It had already been communicated to the then-HR Manager but as with any other HR issues, it was taken, and shared to others, as a gossip matter, not an official private matter.
When the CEO learned of the incident in person by me, he laughed it off. When I didn’t return the smile, he knew I was serious and asked me what we should do. I brought up several options for him to consider. He said he would take care of things.
As far as I know, nothing happened after that. The person continued being employed, the same person did the exact same thing to another individual who decided to quit for fear of an escalated incident. At this point, we had already received information from a concerned employee of drug use in the facilities, a gun brought to the facilities and threats of someone going into the facilities to “get even” for being fired. This was yet another incident the CEO never ever did anything at all about it. A very sad (and dangerous) matter
