Luka blinked in surprise as his jaw was grasped, his eyes flicking up to meet Ivan's. A faint blush spread across his cheeks, and his previously blank expression spread into a smile.

"Hello, Ivan." Luka spoke softly, his words dripping with adoration. To have his chin in Ivan's grasp was nothing short of being sent to heaven. It was the only heaven he would experience, anyways.

Hearing Luka speak to him with such adoration was enough to make Ivan melt. Not in the physical sense, oh no. But, god, he felt like putty by just that greeting alone. Like he was the a solar system orbiting around Luka. The following words that tried - emphasis on tried - to come out of those lips of his came out as an absolute mess.

“I — Luka — Hi – Fingies — Hiiii.” Ivan stumbled out, his cheeks burning a red hue onto his cheeks the longer he looked at Luka, those yellow eyes feeling absolutely hypnotic for him to keep looking into. No, no. He came here to say something. He needed to compose himself. With a clear of his throat, and then a sigh, he tried again.

“I don’t like how those other people in the audience looked at you last night.” Oh. Oh. Ivan was jealous. Not that he could find the right word to describe it himself, but he was jealous of those “pets” looking at Luka how they did.

Luka felt a strew of giggles slip from between his lips as Ivan stumbled through his words. "Fingies?" He raised an eyebrow in amusement, lifting his hand to hold onto Ivan's wrist gently. He sweetly rubbed his thumb over the underside of his wrist, blinking owlishly at his boyfriend.

"Oh... Really? Are you.... No, no, you couldn't be." Luka sounded more than a little amused, his eyes seemingly peering into Ivan's very soul itself.

"You are, aren't you? You're jealous. You're jealous of the other pets in the audience." Luka hummed softly, smiling oh so sweetly at the dark haired man. "Awh, Ivan - you've got my heart rate up. I love it when you get possessive."

It was so, so easy to get lost in those stunning, light yellow eyes that Luka had. That Luka was starting into him with. For some, it could be unnerving, uncomfortable. Yet, Ivan found it sweet — very, very flustering. I mean, his cheeks were already burning red at the eye contact itself. But still sweet!

At the accusation of him being jealous, the ravenette choked on his breath for a moment. Him? Ivan? Jealous? It was … more than likely than one would think. “What?! No, no, no! I’m not jealous, Luka.” He tried to defend himself, wide, dark eyes and all. It wasn’t convincing, really. To be fair, he wasn’t the best at this kind of stuff.

“I just want my eyes to be on you! Not theirs! They can’t even comprehend your beauty! Your elegance! Your intelligence!” He retorted — only to then stop when he took in that final sentence the blonde had said. He called Ivan possessive. And it made the usually quiet man fluster even more, his eyes darting away from Luka’s. “I am noot jealous.” That was a load of bullshit.

Luka smiled — Ivan never shied away from eye contact with him, and it made his heart flutter pleasantly. He was so used to unnerved glances, averted gazes. Luka had a stare that looked like it was reaching deep into your soul, grasping at it, tugging it out. Ivan never seemed to be bothered by it.

Luka laughed softly at the way Ivan tried to deny his jealousy — he was only giving it away by being so defensive, really. Luka brushed his fingers over the back of Ivan's hand, humming quietly.

"It sounds a lot like you are, Ivan..." Luka tipped his head upwards a bit, smiling wider. "You don't have to be ashamed. I like it. Only your eyes deserve to be on me, isnt that right?"

Luka's breath hitched as his chin was grasped, his heart skipping a beat or two as he was forced to meet Hyuna's gaze.

"Hyuna?" His gaze slowly drifted off to the size, before focusing on Hyuna's face once more. "What is this about?" He asked, quietly. What could he have done this time?

The grip wasn't tight, enough to hold Luka's jaw in place lest he decide to move. Her gaze was firmly planted, ice staring in to a pale yellow. It wasn't anything angry, nothing firm- Simply... holding. Observing, even. Scabbed, scraped fingers from intense activity seem to loosen, a thumb running over the soft, pale expanse of a cheek.

"... Your eyes," Hyuna muttered out, voice light. Her eyes squinted, apples of her cheeks rising in a grin. She lets go, leaning back in her seat on the synthetic grass flooring, the automatic sun blazing down their skin, perhaps burning a tad. Her ponytail sways behind her, loose baby strands bouncing as she giggles, blinking once, twice, "Your pupils get big when you look at me! That's pretty silly!"

Luka blinked owlishly at Hyuna, his mouth momentarily falling open in confusion. Did his pupils really get all big when he looked at her? What did that mean? If he were to look into a mirror, he would see that, indeed, his pupils were dilated. He closed his mouth and shrugged lightly, subconsciously leaning into the affectionate rub.

"Maybe I'm sick again." Luka shifted to sit crisscross in the synthetic grass, resting his hands neatly in his lap. "I've never seen them get all big like that. Do yours?" Luka unfurled himself again and moved onto his knees, leaning in close to observe Hyuna's eyes closely.

The lean in hadn't gone unnoticed, loose hairs swaying in the dry air as Hyuna tilted her head, almost mimicking the way the other had. "I don't think you're sick, usually your cheeks get all warm, and your eyes water a lot... Like when you're sad," Hyuna commented, almost confirming to herself that there was no way the blonde was ill.

When he moved to his knees, her hand fell and landed on her lap, legs crossed uncomfortably, ankles at knees, criss-cross. The lean-in was mirrored, the girls' big, bright eyes only seemingly getting bigger and bigger, until she bumped foreheads with the older. Her smile had since faded, focused on letting him examine her pupils.

"I was told that it happens when I look at Hyun-woo," Hyuna broke out suddenly, once the silence had become increasingly loud, "Maybe it's 'cuz I like him, he's my brother and all- So maybe it happens when I look at you too! Since we're always together and stuff."

"Hmmm..." Luka considered Hyuna's words, then nodded in agreement. "You're right. I don't think I'm sick again." He watched the way Hyuna's loose hair swayed in the wind, resisting the urge to fix it for her.

He rested his hands in the synthetic grass next to Hyuna as he examined her eyes closely, cheeks pinkening as their foreheads bumped together. She was right! Her pupils were getting bigger - just like she said his had. What did it mean?

"Oh." Luka nodded firmly, then sat back in the grass. Because she liked him. That meant she liked Luka, too.

... Well, she better like him, anyways. Her life was his, it'd be a shame if she didn't.

"That must be it, then. Yours are big, too."

A smile made its way onto Luka's face at the sudden contact. He met Till's eyes easily, yellow peering into teal. There was a faint blush on Luka's cheeks, a result of the action.

"You're feeling bold today, Till... Is something wrong?" Luka gave a quiet hum, his own hand lifting to brush fingers against Till's wrist.

Till returned the smile, shaking his head slightly. "Nothing's wrong, Luka. Just wanted to remind you who you should be looking at." He teased, all in a lighthearted manner, of course.

"Besides... Its cute seeing you react this way, all from a simple touch."

"Ohh, is that so? I should be looking at you?" Luka giggled softly, gazing into Till's eyes lovingly. It was so nice to be talked to like that - talked to like Till wasn't afraid of him in the slightest.

"Oh, stop.. I'm gonna swoon! Do you want me to faint on you, darling?" Luka teased, cheeks flushed a deep red.

Thank you! I regret the way things turned out, but it's good to see you're here. I'm sure you don't feel the same, but it really is a relief to see all the contestants we lost.

"Do you ever think about what could have happened between you and me?"

Luka cast his gaze upwards towards Hyuna, his expression falling flat momentarily at the question. He smiled slightly, then, his head tilting to the side.

"Do I... ? We both know the answer to that question, Hyuna. Of course I do. How couldn't I?" The man shook his head lightly, waves of blonde hair falling over his expression.

"The real question is... do you?"

A bloodied hand rose, threatening to strike down, to hit and ease any surface level anger- The one thing that never seemed to properly show through Hyuna's demeanor. She was never an angry child, hardly ever cried. Why now? Why was she so pent up? Would it do any good to give in, to slap that look off of his face?

It wouldn't.

So she didn't. She didn't slap that dazed look off of his face despite the urges, instead, rather harshly she pressed the tip of her index finger, her nail into his sternum, exposed. A breath was taken, inhaled shallowly as the red, hot anger stirred within. She wouldn't look up. Was she crying? They were the closest they had been in years, perhaps a decade or more. Hyuna had lost count of the time years ago.

"... You-" She seemed to wince, sucking in another shallow breath, perhaps a choked sob.

"You had every chance to stop.. You didn't have to kill him..."

The last words on her tongue remained unsaid, an onslaught of curses, broken hearts and lost 'I miss you's. She knows she shouldn't, but she knows she can't help herself. It hurt. He hurt. Everything hurt.

Luka watched as Hyuna's hand raised, ready for it to strike down on him. Ready to receive the delayed punishment for a sin that he committed years ago. He knew what this was about, and he knew it was unforgivable. Things could have been different, but they weren't. Luka saw no point in wishing for things to change. It was far too late for that, anyway.

He flinched, ever the slightest bit, when her finger instead pressed harshly against his sternum. It was a slight warmth against his cool skin, but it wasn't soothing. It was blazing, like fire, ready to burn him to ashes. He would accept Hyuna burning him to ashes, gladly.

"Everything I've ever done has been out if self preservation." And a desperate grasp at control, but he didnt see the need to mention what Hyuna already knew. "He wanted to kill me, too. Should I have let him?"

"Shut the fuck up!"

Her voice seemed to ring, the tension in her body seemingly snapping for just a fraction of a second, free hand balling in to a fist. She's weakening. Hyuna is losing herself. It seemed the waterworks had begone however, teeth gritted painfully as the brunette did everything in her power to avoid sobbing. She was sobbing, wanting to curl in to herself. It wasn't as though he would console her.

"You and I both know for a fact he never wanted that! You were his best friend, you selfish asshole!"

Her head hung low as she yelled, screamed even, finger pressed against his sternum flattening in to a palm, no more dull pain of a fingernail. She shivered, loud hiccups escaping her with every bated breath, every gasp of desperation for air as she cursed, laid out her grievances, and not the mention, her genuine grief.

"You took.. You took him away from me! You stole the one thing I had left, You..."

Degenerate? Fiend? Monster? Which was it?

Hyuna couldn't help but curl in to herself, using all of her power to not lean in to the blonde, to try and keep some semblance of herself. She was struggling.

"... It wasn't supposed to be this way.."

Luka finally flinched back a little, the hair on the back of his neck standing on end. He could feel his heart rate speeding up, racing, skipping beats - it made him dizzy. It made his fingers cold. Hyuna was sobbing, and Luka didn't know what he was supposed to do. He had never been very good with other people's emotions - nonetheless his own. What was he supposed to do? Hug her? Pat her shoulder? Apologize? She'd probably just punch him.

"I didn't put the rock there." He tried, voice a bit broken up. He didn't want to expose his own emotions on the matter. He really couldn't - it wasn't safe to do. He had been devastated - probably just as devastated as Hyuna. He had laughed the experience out, giggled until he ran out of breath and his heart landed him at the 'doctor'. But he had wanted to cry, really. His brain just didn't... work right. It didn't work the same as everyone else's. It was broken.

"You still had me. I didn't mean to kill him. I didn't mean to kill anybody." He could afford a bit of honesty, couldn't he? For... Hyunwoo. For Hyuna's sake.

"You're still bleeding, Hyuna."
