Heather McComber Headcanons
-I feel like she would probably smoke either Marlboro or Camel. (ik Camel isn't really like by many people but i just FEEL IT)
-She and Chris would share music recommendations with eachother. Chris would show her some indie underground shit and Heather would probably to show him Britney Spears lol
-I've also thought about her music taste a lot; i'm debating between popular pop of the late 2000s early 2010s (like Britney Spears, Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, Adele) and maybe some RnB, or alterative female artists like Fiona Apple, Kate Bush, Mazzy Star, Florence + The Machine etc. I'm leaning towards the first option because it's more time accurate but i can still dream💔
-She would LOVEEE feminist literature.
-Heather is honestly such a good friend. And her entire story is sad, since she has always been seen as a sort of 'threat' by Chris and Alex due to her history with the Order, but she's actually like,, such a good friend. I mean, she dead ass cut Chris' ankle to get the tracker out. And even with her life in danger, she helps out both Chris and Alex. She deserves so much appreciation from the fandom tbh.
-Also i think lots of people focus on Chris' trauma more (which is also horrible btw), but Heather has also gone through shit. First coming from a dysfunctional family who's apart of a damn cult, then getting ostracized for that. This isn't saying that she's not a flawed character, she did lie about her grandfather, but there's reasons behind that. I feel like she has this fear of being judged, and especially by Chris and Alex. They are really the only way she has of taking down The Order, so there's big risks in losing them.
-^ Also i think that's why she smokes. Maybe from the anxiety, having to be careful with every word you say. Especially with Chris who grows so paranoid and neurotic, she would feel tense around him. Both of these characters are scared, tense, and stressed. Neither of them are bad people, it just shows the effects stress and paranoia have on the mind, sometimes making you lose sanity.
